Get out of my room Lady

Yugo groaned in protest as he knew his alarm was about to go off. He had woken up a few moments ago and looked over at his alarm clock realizing he only had another five minutes to sleep and it was like he could feel the seconds slipping away. Sighing realizing that hoping time would stop was literally the definition of a battle you can't win he slowly opened his eyes meaning to get up however he was caught off guard as a girl was standing beside his bed, or standing was the wrong way to put it she was floating above the ground looking down at him. Yugo quickly jumped out of bed landing on his feet on the other side of the bed "Holy what the how the hell! What are you doing in my room! Wait who cares about that how are you fucking flying!" The girl giggled at that before landing on the floor and answering "Wow you're energetic early in the morning Yugo! That's good there is much to do today!" Yugo looked over the obviously crazy person incredulously as he was still trying to wake up from his half-asleep state the girl was a little bit shorter than Yugo and had long ice blue hair. She wore an awfully expensive looking blue silk dress, and her eyes matched the color scheme being an incredibly deep blue. As Yugo was taking this all in, she continued speaking "Oh right you don't know me yet. Sorry I forgot how you humans do this, you know the formalities before I get to the point right? I am winter or well the spirit of frost and cold. I hear that sometimes I am called Jack Frost by humans, but I always thought that was a little silly considering." She does not finish saying her thought as she just gestures to herself.

Yugo already felt himself sighing for the second time this morning as he thought, Yeah, its official she's crazy. I wonder who I should call to handle her for me? Is this like a police thing or is there a place to call specifically for crazy people. Winter's face contorted into a pout as she could easily enough understand what he was thinking "I'm being serious! I mean you saw me floating, didn't you?" Yugo nods "Well yeah and it was a cool trick, but you still need to get out of my room lady." Winter shook her head "I will as soon as I explain your new situation!" Yugo raised an eyebrow at that "New situation. What new situation?" Winter smiled at that "Well Yugo apparently you have been a naughty boy because the spirit of Christmas seems to have taken a special interest in you, Well more specifically the spirit of benevolence but they really like Christmas and its confusing for humans anyway and I'm getting off track aren't I?" She pauses for a moment "Anyway it'll be quicker just to show you. Put your hand out please!" Yugo impatient to be done with her already simply did as he was told and put out his hand. To his surprise as soon as he did something popped up, it looked like a screen except that it popped out of nowhere and stood floating there in mid air in front of him. The Screen showed a diagram of him and beside it had lots of numbers lined up with stats. At the top it said Level 1. "Alright I'll bite" Yugo began "What in the hell is this? Am I like on one of those hidden cameras shows or something? Is that how you have a budget for this trick?"

Winter ignored the comments and continued "Alright I'm a very busy lady so we need to hurry up and get through this so please just roll with what I'm saying" Yugo shrugs "Alright fine whatever" Winter smiles at that "Thank you. Well as you can say that is your character sheet. You like video games, right? You know how this works I assume. You are level 1, and you have stats that represent how strong you are and so on. The test is that by doing quests given to you randomly you will be given experience that can level you up. Every time you level up you get stat points equal to the level. So, if you get to level 2 you will earn 2 points to put into your stats however you like. Simple enough right?" Yugo's eyes lit up, He was not sure that he was not dreaming, as a matter of fact he was certain he must have slept through his alarm. But this sounded exciting as he spoke up "Shit really? Like I just hit the button and suddenly, I can lift cars or something? Or like I become a genius?" Winter nods "Well pretty much, I mean to be able to get that strong you'd need lots of level and such, a couple stat points won't make you superhuman or anything. That being said yeah level up enough and you could well surpass what humans are normally allowed to do."

Yugo began looking over his stats. The stats were split up by Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Charisma and Luck. His stats accordingly were 3, 4, 2, 1, 1. In addition to the stat spread was a list of various skills and abilities a few he already had. For example, his martial arts skill was already a 5. "Alright I'm on board obviously. Even if this is a dream, I will play along till I wake up right. But how is this a test? What am I being tested on?" Winter smirked "Yeah well that is the crux of the issue isn't it. Remember how I said the Spirit of Christmas made this little test for you. Here is how it works. Today is December 1st. Your ability to modify your stats and level up will be gone December 26th. Whatever your stats are on that day is what your stats are from now on. To make your stats go up you gain levels either by doing quests or you can gain experience by doing good deeds. But every time that you're mean or rude or in short not nice you will lose stats, additionally if you do a bad deed like not just be rude but straight up punch some body or something you will lose lots of stats." Yugo was nodding along with this calm until suddenly "Wait what! I am not allowed to fight? Do you know how many people I have to fight on like a daily basis! I have a reputation you know?" Winter giggles and shrugs "Well you can still fight. It will just make you dumb, and weak and slow. Oh, and it will make you forget how to do things good as it can affect your skills to!" Yugo crosses his arms and grumbles a bit thinking. "Okay in that case I'm not game I don't want this stupid thing. Being super strong and stuff sounds nice but it's not worth it for the massive pain in the ass it comes with."

Winter shakes her head "Oh well no you see. This is not an optional thing. You have it for the next 26 days regardless of if you like it or not." Yugo quickly loses his temper at that "Wait you bitch you can't do that, It Isn't fair!" as he yells that out he feels an odd squeezing feeling that hurts a little bit. Mostly around his upper arms. He goes to speak again not really caring before his brain quickly goes through the information he was just given and nervously he opens his stat screen. He notices his Strength had already gone down from 3 down to 2. Yugo looks up at Winter who just sticks her tongue out at him before waving "Bye, bye now Yugo!" And with that she suddenly disappeared in a puff of cold fog and snowflakes that fall to the floor.

Yugo sits down on his bed thinking and talking to himself "Fucking crap baskets." He looks at his stat screen for a few moments before continuing his train of thought "I guess I can just hide out for the next month, Between winter break and me not caring about skipping school I could just stay in my room until its gone." Just as he finished getting that thought out another panel popped out in front of him with an exclamation point blinking red. Yugo hesitantly clicks on it and it opens a large message. Or rather it opens up the first quest notice

Quest: Make Mother Breakfast before she wakes up

Difficulty: easy

Reward: 300 exp

Failure: -1 Strength

Upon reading that Yugo realized quickly that he couldn't hide out if failing the quests would also make him lose stat points. With a heavy sigh Yugo closed the quest notice. "God fucking dammit…"
