16 Chapter 16: Test of Worthy

Izuki Midoriya POV:

I stood in the arena that I'd be taking my test on and that test determines whether I get in or not. I was kinda nervous but excited at the same time.

Ever since I met Class 1A, I slowly went out of my shell and regained my confidence. I've always been confident but that shattered when I failed to protect my family.

I mean I can easily bring them back with my pendant but my mom told me to avoid doing that to them because my mom wanted me to be independent that whoever comes and go in my life, I will keep moving forward whatever comes my way.

Today is the day I'm gonna prove that I am worthy.

A lot of people are watching, like the 3rd years but there weren't any first years. I don't see my Dad so I guess they were still doing homeroom.

The exam was an Obstacle Course and there were three stages, I went up to the starting line with 3 other people and they looked like they had some experience and no doubt were good but the thing is, UA was only gonna accept one candidate that caught their eye.

I warmed up and stretched a bit, waiting for papa to shout start and—"STARRTTTT!!!!!" shouted papa. I dashed through the course that other 3 hot on my tail.

It seems like there was one wind user, a girl with wheels for legs, and a guy with a weak flying type quirk. I use the one quirk and ability I trusted the most during these type of situations, Explosions. I propelled myself in the air and stopping once in a while to sweaten up my palms. The wind user guy was launching himself to the course past me.

I wasn't allowed to use my other powers because I have a bracelet that cancels the powers I want to cancel and dad said to keep it on at all times unless it was necessary, he said that it wouldn't be fair if I was so OP for the other students.

I instead flew across the field with palms of wind behind my back making me faster. I learned that guy's the ability and flew to the first stage.

There were incredibly huge robots and I exploded my way through the legs of the robot and it lost its balance.

I switch back to explosions and landed on the ground. There was a field of molten rocks, it was very hot and will surely melt anything. I got an idea and use another power I copied from one of the powerful Class 1A...

I zoomed across the field with thicc ice under me and slowly melting behind me. I got past the field and onto the next stage.

It was a straight path with machines on the side and arrows shooting from it. I created an ice wall so the arrows don't get me.

There were also arrows coming from the ground and up. I used acid that I copied from another member of Class 1A.

I melted the arrows with the acid and got across the path. I remove the ice walls so that the other candidates don't catch up to me.

I used explosions to blast my way through the finish line and completed the exam.

Although completing the exam first, doesn't mean that I'll be the one they're going to pick to go to the hero course.

Hence, I am still very proud that I finished first and I have high hopes that I'll be able to attend the school and hopefully get to attend Class 1A.

After the exam, I went to the announcement room and discussed who they'll pick to attend the school, and to my surprise...

I got in!
