Because of his deed and courage, he was then acknowledged by the country's king.
It became a big deal as the king's son; the crown prince himself was actually in incognito in that place. After that, he was sent into the distant border to participate in the military camp as a lieutenant.
There again, Charles crossed paths with Yvonne who seems to be one of the soldiers in his troop. After spending his time in there, he fell in love, seeing the very determined and courageous woman executing actions that is far from what he expect to a woman, it brought different light in his eyes.
Charles couldn't help himself but to compare both of the ladies, his fiancée and Yvonne, which leads him on admiring Yvonne more.
His fiancée who was head over heels for him followed Charles in the military camp a few days later. Clinging to him like glue and making commotions left and right causing a rift between Charles and Yvonne. In the end; they confessed to each other and made a lover's commitment.
On the day that a planned attack from an enemy country has surprised the borders, his fiancée was taken by the opposite side. Charles and his troop, unaware of the situation, charged and defended the land and the people with everything they got.
After the end of the battle, Charles came out victorious. Unfortunately, his fiancée was raped and became mentally retarded.
At last, returning to the main city, Charles and his fiancée's marriage agreement has been canceled with the help of the crown prince. Charles and Yvonne married each other continuing Charles' military bloodline.

As Xael stared at Xael M. data, her face was not even leaking any emotion. Inside, she admitted that compared to average ordinary humans, Xael M. has greater status, though for her, that was not enough.
Xael has already expected her attributes to be as exactly as what she saw on the window earlier.
If you think about it closely, not all the girls in a family of soldiers were trained to have a strong foothold in terms of physical combat and abilities but if Xael M. did not possess any of that, how would she be able to follow Charles in the army camp without dying.
But even if she was more superior among ordinary folks, a group of barbarians would still be able to hold her down.
