1 The Missing Puzzle Piece
The thought of wasting every opportunity as time passed keeps hunting me. I have my own house, cars, maids, fancy clothes, money, and things that only RICH people have. But it doesn't mean I'm happy living with this kind of life. I don't have a mom, a dad, or even friends and RELATIVES. People see me as a cold-hearted girl who grew up with no love. Many people are afraid of talking to me.
The only person who stayed with me is my maid since I was still a kid. Her name is Shenyi. She has the same age as my mom, so even though I lost my mom and dad, she stayed with me until now. My relatives? My dad's sister is currently managing the business of my parents. They only care about me because of my money.
Anyways, I started my morning drinking warm milk and went to my garden to water my different kinds of flowers. After that, I went back to my room to lay on my bed, AGAIN. But I got bored. I decided to go to my walking closet and look for things that I don't use anymore. But I found something interesting, a box of scattered puzzles. A sudden flashback happened;
"Hey, do you know how to do this puzzle?" a random boy around my age asked me. I was sitting at the edge of the slide when he approached me.
I nodded and started to play with the puzzle with him. It takes more than 5 minutes for us to complete the puzzle. But the boy didn't put the last piece.
"What is your name?" he asked
"My name is Enxi."
He put the puzzle pieces on the box and gave it to me.
"I have a lot of puzzles in our house. You can have this but I will keep this last puzzle piece with me. If we meet again, we could complete this puzzle together"
"Okay. I told you my name so you should also tell me yours" I replied
"My name is-"
I forgot his name. Of course, that was ten years ago. I'm 19 years old now how can I remember his name that was a long time ago.
"Ms. Enxi?" I heard Jiayi knocked on my door. I started to walk and brought the box with me. I opened the door and saw her. She's holding a letter and said that it is for me. Jiayi gave it to me then she went back to her work.
I opened the letter she gave me and it turns out that it is an invitation letter from WANG GROUP;
We are glad to inform you that the WANG GROUP invites you to attend their 20th Anniversary this Friday at 10 in the morning. See you there!
