"Um? What are you smiling and groaning over there?" Lawrence popped my train of thought, in a scolding manner.

"I.. um! It's nothing!" I responded with a blush on my face. Ugh! It's so embarrassing that Lawrence had to see me like this! It's already embarrassing enough that I see myself fantasizing over a boy and now he just saw me...

"Right...." He narrowed his eyes to me giving me a skeptical look. "Totally sounds like nothing to me like I'm totally going to buy that Princess. You are such a bad liar you know?" He sighed.

Eck.. ugh. busted. I knew Lawrence was way too clever to be lied to. He's just intuitive like that. It's like trying to talk to a lie detector where he can just spot the lies and truth. I guess he learned that from his days in the royal guard where he interrogated some of the culprits at the young age of 13...

"Okay... it's nothing.. but it'd be embarrassing to tell you, you know? I mean like you just don't tell others about certain things.." I reasoned with him, making his face contort into a scowl.

"You literally tell me the most OBSCENE THINGS ever. Like things that are too weird to even tell normal people. Kind of like the fact that you tried to kiss a plant because you tho-"

"OKAY! ENOUGH! I DON'T NEED TO BE REMINDED WITH HOW LONELY I WAS IN THE CASTLE OKAY!" I covered my ears to not be reminded by all the embarrassing things I told Lawrence.. ugh! This is why I really need friends...

"Well? Are you going to tell or not? I'm waiting."

"Why are you even so curious? Aren't you suppose to be sleeping since you didn't get enough sleep or something? Shouldn't you be like doing that right now?" I attempted to dodge the question, pointing a question to his side.

"I couldn't sleep." He growled. "The light from the window is kind of disturbing my sleep. I have a hard time sleeping in this daylight and since these idiotic teenagers are causing so much noise this early since the school was canceled. I had to endure an hour of their nonsense babbling when all of them are just plain stupid although I just gave up halfway since I couldn't sleep."

"Oh.. well ain't that a bit too much information?" I chuckled.

"Anyways if you're trying to shove the ball in my court then you're sorely mistaken. I would still need an answer as to why you're acting giddy and all?"

"Aw... I guess trying to distract you was worth a try... but it's just that... I actually have a crush on this guy... Lucas Carter is his name. I actually met him earlier today and he's very nice to me." I finally spilled him all the beans, making him put his hand on his chin.

"You have a crush on a guy that you just met earlier today?" He asked in a judging condescending manner.

"Um.. yes..... I mean what's wrong with having a crush? I don't see anything wrong with that.. why are you giving me that disappointed look like I did something wrong?"

"I guess there's nothing wrong with having a crush but knowing you. This is going to turn into some kind of obsession right? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you fall in love with the person that first gave you affection? Which was a plant when it landed on your shoulder." He squinted bringing up an embarrassing story.

"ACK! HEY! I told you to stop bringing up the plant things! I told you that I'm past that phase! I actually have friends now! Like Cypress, Diana, Meghan, Fatima, and even Lucas.." Although I wish he was more than just a friend.

"What did this person even do that made you feel goo goo gaga over him or something," He asked, placing his arm on his hips.

"Well.. first.. he's so handsome and good looking. His chiseled body with abs that are so strong that I think he's even able to carry me! He's also kind and sweet and he defended me against those girls that are bullying me! He's so sweet and generous and he told me that he thinks that I'm nice! I JUST CAN'T NAME EVERYTHING THAT MAKES HIM SO great!"

"You mean an average guy, gave you a little bit attention and a little kindness, and then you just went ahead and got head over heels over that dude? Also by chiseled you mean the average body of a high schooler right?"

"ACK.. no.. He's actually pretty sweet! You're just jealous that he's so handsome and you aren't like him, Lawrence." I squinted, giving him a smirk.

"Geez. You are such a hopeless romantic, aren't you? Keep that up and you'll end up heartbroken. Well.. It's not really my business what you love life is but your parents are going to have to hear that soon since they are calling later tonight to check up on you." He tells me.
