47 Chapter 47: Enemies?

"That's why the teachers are having a meeting right now. Since they need to be informed about this and such." Diana added, brushing her hair carefreely. "By the way, Celestina. I have a question to ask you. Can we talk about it somewhere private?" What does she want to talk about with me now?

"Sure. I'm not busy so, you can go ahead and tell it right now. Although I don't see the reason why we need to go somewhere private..." I responded to her demands, although turning my head a little at the strange request to go to a secluded area.

"Well... it's just that.. this isn't the best place to talk about this." Diana pointed towards the people on my back, continuing to gossip and whisper about me.

Oh, I think I get it now. I nodded and decided to follow her to the place she was walking to, we went past the hallways and I could feel the nasty looks around me. I ignored it and followed her relentlessly until we reached the staircase to the rooftop. No one seems to be around her so that's why she chose this place. It's finally just Cypress, her and I in there. I didn't know Cypress would even go along with us but I guess he wanted to hear what Diana had to say.

"Listen, I don't want to be brash but I have something to say to you. There's been a rumor going around about you. It's quite nasty actually." She lays on me, leveling on my line of sight.

"What? What are you talking about? I never heard of any rumors." Cypress looked confused the same way I was but I have a feeling what these rumors were about.

"That's because you're not really in the gossip circles. You know those groups of girls that just gossip to no end. I'm kind of part of those actually. I'm pretty sure I can tell you people's starstagram account passwords at this point." Diana chuckled. "Although not that I would do that."

"What... what rumor are you talking about?" I spoke up timidly, crossing my fingers. I hope it's not what I think it is.

"It's.. about well.. the fact that you were getting around. People are saying that you were a slut and you open your legs to anyone you just see out in the streets." She broke it to me straight on.

"WAIT? WHAT THE? REALLY? DO PEOPLE say that?" Cypress's eyes light up surprised at what he heard from Diana

"Sadly, I wish this wasn't true but apparently some bitch started a rumor about Celestina."

Diana added to her statement... and.. I honestly just started to lose it. I started to shiver from the bone, that...that's why people were looking at me with dirty looks. They were insulting me and whispering things behind my back. It was because of this rumor... but how could this happen? Why would someone start rumors about me? I've never even been here for a week and people already hate me...

"So I wanted to ask if you have some enemies here?" Diana gave me a serious expression. "Surely this rumor just didn't pop on its own. It must have been caused by a person. However, the bad thing about rumors about this is that the bitches are sneaky and they don't own up to their damage. So this must have been the work of someone that hates you."

"I... but... I don't know someone that dislikes me... I just got here and no one really showed the fact that they hated me... so I'm not sure who did this... like at all." I stumbled over my words as I started to get nervous... I can't believe someone.. would do this to me...

"I doubt your enemy is going to show you that they hate you. I mean just by how they used rumors as a way to take you down kind of just says something about their personality. They are a fake ass bitch. So it has to be someone nice to you." Diana patted me in the back, trying to keep me calm over the situation.

"But didn't she just transfer here like yesterday? How could she already have an enemy this early in the school year?" Cypress chimed in over our conversation.

"I don't think bitches need time to hate on you. Honestly, these goofy ass hoes just need something to hate and they're set for life. I mean come on those girls are legit so lazy to make themselves better so they just try to take down others that are looking fine. Diana replied to Cypress's question.

"What... what am I going to do now... if these rumors continue to spread... I.. I wouldn't have a regular school life... I.. I don't think I can stand people whispering about me twenty-four seven." My body dripped of cold sweat as I started to think about the future.

Diana sighed, putting her finger on my chin. "Hold your head up high. Remember that these bitches just want you to be upset. If you show them that you're upset you'll just be giving them what they want. So cheer up okay?"

"Also if you want to stop these rumors. I suggest finding out the one that started the rumors. Perhaps try revaluating the people in your life. I can help you with that although I might need a teensy favor!" She giggled childishly.

"HEY? YOU'RE GONNA ENCOURAGE HER, AND NOW YOU'RE GONNA ASK FOR A FAVOR WHEN SHE NEEDS HELP? Ugh! I was honestly starting to think you were being nice to her Diana!" Cypress argued with her, although she ignored him, whistling to not hear his ramblings.

"Nah, yall ready know that I'm a bitch. I don't help peeps that don't help me back." She chuckled.

"What do you want exactly? What favor do you want to ask me?" I asked her, honestly I'm desperate at this point. I don't want these rumors to continue and if she helps me stop them then I can revert to my normal life.

"Puhuhuhu." She giggled. "It's not something big. I just want you to help me get with your brother. Maybe try leaving us alone sometimes you know? Nothing really big. Just want to taste him a quick second that's all." She licked her lips seductively.

"This is why my friends are plants.." Cypress facepalms.

"GEEZ! Don't try making me look like the bad guy! I just want to get some of that meat if you know what I mean. Although I'm joking! I'll still help you even if you don't do that." She places her hand on my shoulder. "You can count on me okay?" She whispered in my ear, reassuring me.

"I... thanks I guess.." I responded to her timidly.

"By the way, remember miss sailor mouth from earlier? I doubt it's her since she's a bit direct with the way she hates you. So you can scratch her off your list of suspects." She winked at me as she starts to walk off to the distance.

Oh.. she must be referring to Molly... the girl that cursed me out earlier.

"Let's discuss more this when you're brother is there! Classes are going to resume soon so see you guys!" She went ahead and dashed away to the distance.

"I'll need to go too. By the way, I'll also try to learn who spread the rumors. I'll tell you during the meeting later when I learn something." Cypress informs me, patting me in the head before leaving. "Bye kiddo. See you later got it
