Tasting it everyday

He felt like a joke.

Tamim saw him stare at her weirdly.

The next moment he asked their families to excuse them.

When they were finally in the kitchen,

Anton stared at her like he was disappointed.

"Don't stare at me like that.." Tamim said.

"How am I staring at you?" Anton replied still gazing intensely at her.

"Like ...." Tamim said as she watched Anton move closer to her and pin her against the wall.

"Like what?" His voice hoarse as he stared at her lips. When she did not reply, he asked again "hm?"

"Like... you're disappointed..in me" she replied turning red like beet root.

"But I am disappointed" he replied now staring into her eyes.

"Wh..why" she struggled to ask because of the way he stared intensely at her.

"Because I thought we were getting closer and i thought you could tell me stuffs easily"

"I didn't feel it was an important thing and I thought they forgot cause I forgot.." Tamim explained.

"Can you hear yourself? Don't ever say that something about you is unimportant. No matter how little, it's important" Anton said.

Tamim stared at him with watery eyes trying to find any hidden intent behind his words but she was disappointed.

"You're important" he said as he kissed her and pulled her waist towards him.

Sweet like that cake. I would like to taste it everyday.
