38 Lingering trace (II)
All the three butterflies disintegrated instantly after their body been pierced through with cyan needles, leaving nothing behind. Once he hits the last target, the stranger moved back to his original position at the roadside.
Alex that still overanxious with Malina's condition, realize, even though he cannot comprehend the unexplained strange phenomenal starting from Malina's collapsed, he instantly knew something great happen in that just happens in a flash of moments.
For instance, Malina's body with high temperatures in the blink of eyes instantly cooled down. He just feels a rush of winds and later accompanied with the burning stench that coming from rotten no dead animals lingering in the air. Even that bad smell doesn't linger long. And many clues he notices but never bothered to analyze it when he was so focused on Malina's safety.
And a rush of voices started getting louder, Alex glanced up and notices a crowd with angry expression complained something the safety guards that ushered them to the main entrance. Alex paid them no head and a cab pulled over and run towards them. While Alex carrying Malina over the cab and placed her on the backseat, the driver takes luggage to put on the trunk. Then he rushed again to take the remaining luggage that he didn't manage to bring.
Once everything completed, the cab's driver returns to his car. Alex, of course, didn't hear a few of the crowds who still dissatisfied that this airport construction keeps saying everything was so weird, on how they keep circling over and over in the same place and still fail to find the main entrance even with aid of security guards, who also perplexed about this after wasting a few tens of minutes. Alex that keeps trying t make Malina on more comfortable position suddenly went rigid when he heard Malina saying something with her eyes remains closed eyes.
On the hands, the stranger young man that falls down from his originates place earlier next to the roadside still suffering from the aftermath. The super speed that stranger use, of course, didn't comes free. Using super ability that doesn't belong to normal human means paying a great price. Every muscle in his body screaming in pain, limbs feel been torn apart. But the prominent painful areas that his brain register is located on his left shoulder.
That left shoulder feels so cold likes been trapped in the ice and the bones been pierced over with thousands hots needles. Making its beyond worst is how he feels his own head been splitting open. Even his chest bone feels been pressed down with a big boulder resting stubbornly remain stuck in place.
Making every breath he manages to takes, draining all his energy, thus taking a great toll to his body. His lips suddenly spurt mouthful of blood and it splats over the brick tar. With every painful laboured breath that slowly getting far in between, he tries to remain conscious and hear a loud screeching tyre following by a car door been slammed down.
Still laying on the ground he barely sees a person wearing fluttering white coat flapping in the wind with sunlight showering the body making it's more difficult to see the appearance of the owner's face. He already loses all strength to move his head up to feed his eyes that full of curiosity.
The last things he saw was a stunning gloss of dark maroon leather shoes walking closer before stopped just a few centimetres from his face. Then everything went blank.
