Moving

After that night's decisions, Aria and Aika had agreed that they would move in together in an apartment so that they could truly work their way up on their own. They talked it through a little, Aria was going to use her money to buy it and transport for them. She had plenty to get a nice apartment for the two of them and Aika would pay her back later on since she had nothing of her own. Aika especially didn't want to rely on her parents in the slightest as she felt like achieving something wouldn't matter if she did it by using her parents work and money.

All her life, she'd felt like everything she accomplished was only because of her parents wealth and power. Even if it ended in a disaster, they were both fully committed to reaching the top on their own or not reaching the top at all.

Only one week after graduating, they were ready to move into their new home.

"Are you girls sure?" Aika's mother looked at the two girls worriedly, she felt they'd rushed into the decision and were risking their futures on a gamble.

Looking each other in the eyes, they nodded and replied in sync, "Yes!"

Sighing, Yuna nodded in understanding and looked over at Max as he moved items around the girls new apartment. She had expected something like this to happen ever since she discovered Aika's interests in idols when she was young, but she really had wished she was wrong. Both her and max had built successful companies from nothing back before they met, and she was worried her precious little baby would suffer the same way she had.

And on top of that, she was worried for Aria. Her daughter's best friend had just been disowned by her own family and clearly wasn't in a place to be making such a huge decision. On top of that, she was taking on an extremely hard role, trying to build a company in a massive industry at such a young age.

She wasn't worried that Aria wouldn't be able to handle the technical aspect, the girl's test scores from Maple-leaf had proven that wasn't a concern, but she was terrified all the more experienced executives would take advantage of such a young girl.

"Darlings!~" Max came running over and grabbed Yuna and Aika in a tight hug, spinning around a little bit. "I'm going to miss you, Aika.."

Aika laughed when she saw her dad's pouting face and pushed him away. "I'll still be in B City"

"But you won't be our daughter publicly, your Dad is so sad..."

Yuna shoved Max's shoulder lightly making him stop with his pathetic acting skills. Whenever he started speaking in third person, she had an urge to tease him but doing that in front of their daughter seemed awkward.

"Just until we're rich and famous, then you can come acknowledge me in public all you want."

As the family of three interacted joyfully, Aria wandered out of the room and started unpacking her clothes into her closet. The moving company and Max had both been huge helps, but there was no way she was going to let a stranger put her clothes away. Internally, she felt a bit of doubt about her decision to do this. She wasn't scared of being a CEO, instead she was terrified she would fail her friend and be the reason she doesn't succeed.

With Aika's beauty and figure, even if she wasn't talented in the slightest a big company would surely take her in and train her until she was famous. She was 176cm tall and towered over her, and her height only served to further emphasize her excellent figure. Before the negative thoughts could fully take over, Aika came running in and dragged her out of her room.

"Come say bye to Mama and Dad with me."

When they got back out to the living room, Aria smiled at the two older people and called out, "Thank you for helping us move, Mr. and Ms. Suzuki."

After Aria spoke, Aika waved at her parents and called out as well, "Thanks Mama, Dad."

"Ohh look how cute they are, honey!" Max didn't even try to whisper and just looked at his wife with obvious joy. Lowering his voice, he actually whispered for the first time in years, "Wouldn't it be great if they got married, then we would have two adorable daughters and no awful man who would take advantage!"

Yuna was about to push him away like usual before she realized what he said actually made a little bit of sense and nodded her head unconsciously. A moment later, she cleared her throat and the thoughts away at the same time. "We're expecting a call every week, Aika. Be good and don't go putting too much pressure on your soon to be CEO..."

Pouting, Aika nodded and waved one last time before her parents turned and walked out the door.
