31 7 Days (2)

Aria blinked and looked around her new room slowly, taking everything in. The walls were ivory colored with pastel pink stars covering them, bare from any posters or other objects. Her bed was bigger than anything she had ever slept in before, a King, and had a pure white blanket with equally white sheets and pillows. Even her desk and desk chair fit the theme of the room, with white as the main color and pink accents.

The day before, she hadn't paid much attention to anything going on around her as she was still reveling in the feeling of owning her own apartment and being truly independent for the first time in her life. But now that she was calmer and taking the time to take everything in, she found every little detail absolutely perfect.

She couldn't even begin to remember what the rest of the apartment looked like, though. Every time she tried to think about the details, she just remembered the blur of emotions and conversations and nothing else. Although she found it somewhat funny as she had been half of the designing choice, Aria wanted to change it as quickly as possible so she could get used to her new life.

Being careful to be quiet, she tiptoed across her white carpet and slowly opened the door to the hallway. As she was in the hallway, she looked around and noticed that other than the pastel accents being changed to black, the design had remained pretty similar and the rug continued out.

Walking quietly, she arrived in the kitchen where the floor finally transitioned from white rug to a marble floor. Aria ran her hand along the luxury appliances she remembered splurging on before leaving the kitchen and wandering to the living room.

Back on carpet her steps went back to being nearly silent and she looked around. Other than a couple plants the room followed the trend of white and black, from the sofa to the marble coffee table.

When they had been planning, Aika had insisted on a rather minimalist design and Aria had agreed, as long as they could add the plants to brighten everything up.

Thinking of Aika, she smiled eerily and walked up to her best friend's bedroom door and opened it extremely slowly. The one room she had had no part in designing and hadn't even seen yet in her vague memories of the day before was this one.

Looking around, she noted that the rumor was like a direct opposite of the rest of the house and especially her bedroom. Everything was colored black with the occasional white accenting and the walls were covered in idol posters signed in various languages. Done examining the final room, she was somewhat annoyed that Aika was still asleep.

Giving up on her pointless quietness, she leaped onto Aika's bed making the both of them bounce slightly and the exhausted girl groan. Aika had been awake ever since she heard Aria open her bedroom door and start wandering around, but every muscle in her body ached and she just wanted to keep sleeping for another year or so.

Annoyed, she peeled her eyes open and nearly died instantly from adorable shock. Aria was lying on stomach in an over-sized white tiger onesie with ears and everything. Back in the dorms, she had always worn much more simple pajamas and Aika was far from ready to see something that cute and different. Aika squealed and jumped at Aria, pinning her down playfully and smiling at the now blushing girl.

"Well hello, Miss White Tiger. are you trying to pounce on your prey?" Aika whispered right next to Aria's ear, her lips curling up unknowingly.

Finding herself in a compromising position after trying to shock Aika, Aria squirmed her way free and pouted upon seeing Aika's smug face.

"What do you mean 'Miss White Tiger'..." ...oh. Aria had totally forgotten that the night before she had decided to celebrate her new independence by wearing the white tiger onesie she'd never taken a chance to wear before. She looked down at herself and then looked back up with her face redder than before.

Seeing how absolutely adorable her best friend was, Aika's lips went into a full blown smile and she for the first time truly examined her. Aria's long black hair was spilling out the sides of the hood, and her usually pale skin was red in embarrassment. Her lips looked slightly... kissable... Aika skillfully ignored the thought of Aria's lips and paid more attention to her body... her stature. Aria was only 154cm tall compared to her 175cm, leaving Aika feeling like a giant whenever it was just the two of them together. Fully absorbed, Aika's eyes flicked back up to Aria's face to see her bright blue eyes pleading to drop the topic.

Deciding to be merciful, Aika moved away from her and called out, "Well, future Miss CEO, how about you go make your idol some breakfast so she doesn't die while practicing today?"
