2 NANNY 1: HEADS ON THE HEELS [PART 1]

Fame. Money. Power. Many would want to be a privilege. Who could ever hate being in such a position where you almost have everything? Except, if it is not enough and you think of something as a hindrance.

"Ms. Victoria! Please give us some time for interviews about the recent fashion gala of The Amore!"

"Can you confirm the humor about the upcoming magazine issue of your company? Is it true that you will release it this month?"

Reporters are stuck in the hotel lobby of the famous model and CEO, Victoria Naval, hoping to get some interviews from her. She was known as an awesome model for many famous magazines and beauty products, and for making the company successful after her mother- Valerie Naval- stepped down to retire. She is called the "Goddess of Fashion" for her outstanding beauty, elegance, and success. Close to perfection, as they say, her smile will be worth a thousand views and dimes.

As soon as she gets in the car, she takes off her sunglasses and glares at the child on her side. "What the f*ck are you doing here?" Victoria said in an irritating tone. Helery, the name of her daughter that she never acknowledges as her own. Victoria always reminds her daughter not to call her "mom" and to never approach her in public. The child immediately felt sad as her mom greets her that way every time she sees her. Their relationship was never disclosed in the public eye as Victoria sees it as a tarnish on her reputation and success.

"I-I was told by my Grandma to come here because no one will look for me at the house. She left earlier." Helery's eyes drop to her knees with her hands pressed against each other. "I-I said I can manage myself at home b-but she scolds me saying that I might destroy or break something in the house…" Victoria sighed and crossed her arms and legs. She knows she can't do anything against her mother's orders so she will focus her anger on the child.

The traffic adds to her frustration and she gets off her seat to hit the car horn. Helery and the driver covered their ears because of Victoria's cussing and noise coming from the car. When she satisfied herself and saw that the vehicles move, she went back to her seat tossing her bag to the child.

"Because of you, my day is completely ruined! We really need to get you a nanny so I can avoid seeing your face more often. Wrinkles will appear on my face before the interview because of the stress you are causing." Helery wipes off the blood coming from the cut on her forehead that is scratched by her mother's bag. She wants to cry but her mother will be more pissed off.

"I am sorry. I will not do it again…" She does not know what she is sorry about but she also blames herself for pissing her mom.

Victoria rolled her eyes on her and said, "Of course. You should be. Be grateful that your grandmother pitied you and decided to keep you." The ride became quiet after that until they reached the mansion. They halt when they saw a lady standing in front of their gate. The driver went out to ask for the name and purpose of the lady.

After a couple of minutes, the driver went back inside the car. "Ms. Victoria, she is a nanny hired by your mother to take care of Ms. Helery. She is Miss Daisy."

Victoria smirked, "Good. Less work for me." The driver nods at her and gets the remote to open the gate. Miss Daisy went first and followed the car. Helery and Victoria went out of the car in front of the big fountain to meet the nanny. And both of them are astonished by the beauty of the woman standing before them. "Oh wow. I can't believe that you are just here to work as a nanny. You sure, you are not applying as a model? I will gladly hire you!" Victoria broke the silence.

"Thank you for your compliment Ms. Victoria but I am here to take care of the child. It is my passion." She moves her gaze to the petite beautiful child standing behind Victoria. "Hi! I am glad to meet you. Your name must be Helery?" The child could not help but admire the kind lady and nods.

She turned around to Victoria only to see Victoria's sarcastic expression. "I have never seen anyone who ignored me for a child. Unbelievable. I will remind you, Daisy-"

"Miss Daisy, madam." Miss Daisy cuts her off and she almost slaps her but she controlled herself because she does not want her to leave especially, that her mother hired this lady herself.

"Right, MISS DAISY, that child is not as pleasing as you expected. You see, she has the CURSE to make everybody frustrated by her mere existence. But I know you can handle her. Good luck!" Victoria left them as she walks gracefully away from them.

Miss Daisy sighs and faces the child. She levels herself to see the face of Helery better and is surprised to see the fresh cut on her forehead. She immediately asked her, "Are you okay? We must treat your cut. Where did you even get this?" Her concern caught Helery off guard as Miss Daisy is the first person who asks her out of the concern and not with anger.

"Come on! Enough with the staring, we can play later after I treat that. Okay?" Miss Daisy smiled at her and she smiled back then nodded.

"It is really my first time that someone asked me to play with. I have no friends here. And I rarely talk to people at school because I cannot reveal my real parent. I am also bullied because they say I am weird." Helery thinks that she will finally have a friend and a sister who can finally take care of her. And she trusts Miss Daisy with her young heart yearning for the love of a family.
