"Yes?" he was the first to speak.

"Bro, I've got something to tell you," Lu Fei replied.

"Shoot away," Eric Wu responded.

"About the gathering tomorrow, Sun Nan and I have decided to bring Bella along. You should've no complained right," instead of beating around the bush, Lu Fei cut to the chase.

Besides, according to what had happened last night, it was obvious that Eric Wu was paying extra attention to Bella as well. For whatever reason, he wouldn't be against the idea, right?

Eric Wu pulled the phone away and stared at it for a while. He was surprised for Lu Fei to suddenly talked about Bella.

"Yes," he replied with his usual toneless voice.

"T-thank you for taking care of my bike. Once I receive the invoice, I-I'll pays you back," she stated her purpose of wanting to speak with him.

"Sure," Eric Wu answered. "Anything else?" he asked. Speaking with this woman, he felt like the devil. Why must she stutter? It wasn't like she would suffer if she speaks normally. Sigh… Eric Wu internally breathed out.

"Nothing. T-thank you again," that was the end of her voice. Soon, he heard Lu Fei's voice again before the phone call was ended. Eric Wu spent another minute watching a flock of birds flying in the sky. Tired of the view, he turned around.

Greeting his eyes was his grandpa, staring at the aquarium wall while also mumbling to one of the Platinum Arowanas in it. The corner of his lips curved upward upon witnessing the sight. Then, he walked over to remind the old man that it was time for their lunch.

At Simply Café, Sun Nan was having a blast. He had been listening to the phone call and was really amused when it was Bella Lim's turned to speak. The way she nervously bit her bottom lips made him felt that she was truly funny.

"Bella, even if you like Eric, you shouldn't be nervous," he said and laughed.

Bella Lim's eyes bulged in annoyance. She couldn't help it, that man was too scary! Just now, listening to his voice alone almost made her let go of the phone in fear.

"Who said that I like him," she argued and once again glared at Sun Nan in exasperation.

"Sun Nan, stop making fun of Bella," Lu Fei was also tempted to make fun of the woman in front of him but after seeing her pitiful state due to Sun Nan's teasing, he told himself not to add to the injury.

"Okay, okay!" Sun Nan held both hands as a signed that he surrendered. Alas, not a second went by and he burst out laughing again, inviting two deathly glares from both his sides.

"Shit, sorry!" he muttered and finally the laughter ended.

"Are you guys staying here or leaving?" Bella Lim asked as she noticed that many people were coming inside the café. She realized that Lily and Daniel would not be able to cater to the demands of these waves of customers.

"We're leaving. We plan to visit some places," Lu Fei answered. Then, he rose from his chair followed by Sun Nan who also took the helmet on the table and gave it to Bella Lim.

"Thank you," Bella Lim took the helmet and walked them to the door.

"See you tomorrow," Lu Fei said before turning around. Bella nodded as she waved them goodbye. Once their figures were gone from her sight, she walked in and presume her work as usual.
