Prologue

Once upon a time, there was a land ruled by four clans. They were mainly the Yang clan, Wu clan, Lu Clan, and the Su clan. This land was vast and provided enough resources for the four clans to live in harmony.

There was an unspoken rule among the four clans which was not to interfere with each other's territory. Even so, the rich were powerful and the poor would forever be the subordinate. This harsh reality force the individuals who were at the lowest of the pyramid to form a new identity, a nameless faction to help them survive the unfair treatment of life.

It took them decades to create a strong foothold in the land, standing on par with the four clans. Time went by and one of the major clans offered a partnership with the nameless faction as they shared the mission to help the poor and the needs.

A strong rapport was build amidst their cooperation. Soon, this faction was integrated into the clan, creating new rules and traditions to ensure that the nameless faction wasn't suppressed by the power and influence of the main clan. It was said that the Master of the clan would need the approval of the four elders of the main clan as well as the nameless faction co-leaders before he or she was solemnized as the true Master.

The four co-leaders were the four individuals who founded the nameless faction, bringing it to the level similar to the major clans. In the case that the four co-leaders were no longer in the possession of the power, their descendant who took over as co-leaders would continue the tradition.

This newly upgraded clan was now the most powerful clan among the four major clans, creating an imbalance. For a few years, nothing major happened. However, during the eleventh years of the integration of the nameless faction into the clan, a bizarre thing occurred. The other three clans began to fight each other as misunderstanding appeared one by one resulting chaos in the land.

Bizarrely, the newly upgraded clan wasn't affected. Instead, they offered to be the mediator between the three clans. For a while, calm returned to the land only to be broken by the inner conflict of the one unaffected clan. Once again, another riot was brought about with the revelation of the sinister plan of this one particular clan. About how it was their deed that the three clans fell into conflicts.

The three clans were furious as they demanded explanations and compensations from the clan. However, it was revealed later that it was only a group of people that was responsible for the incident. This group was led by two elders from the main clan. The three other major clans thought it was a trick to avoid taking responsibility for the mayhem caused, only to be shocked at the news that the clan was now divided into two.

This broken clan was the Yang clan.

Internally, this clan was divided because the two elders of the main clan found out about the sinister deed of the other two elders. They tried to get rid of the two elders and let them be judged under the jurisdiction of the other clans only to know that they secretly gathered their own followers. Not only from the main clan but also from the nameless faction.

Like the elders of the main clan, the co-leaders of the nameless faction were also divided into two. This coincidence made the tradition a useless one. Since both divisions had nameless co-leaders to support an elder from the main clan to become a leader, the division was named as such: the black Yang clan and the white Yang clan. And their territory was now divided into two as well...

Still, even though the Yang clan, in general, achieve a consensus, the three clans saw this as a chance to completely eradicate the whole clan and took over their territory, forcing the black Yang clan and the white Yang clan to unite, once again...

Yang clan as a whole was a family of warriors, therefore it was hard for the other clans to obliterate the clan from the land. In the end, they accused each other of being weak and incompetent, creating a conflict among the three allied clans.

This was the greatest conflict which also known as the warring period.

It was often said that we learn from history, from the fault of our ancestors. So did the four clans, they decided that in order for them to live in harmony, they needed to stand on their own, without the interference of the other clans.

Hence, the land was no longer one but four countries named as Kastache, Azure, Romstall, and Oundbatt. These countries were ruled by the Yang clan, Wu clan, Lu clan, and Su clan respectively.
