Ch 2 - #Blackmask

~~Kiara's POV~~

Me, Calli, and the others ordered our iced tea. I had a certain thought in my mind as we bought ours.

'That guy was....quite fluent, not gonna lie. His accent is quite American-like. I wonder if he's a half or he studied in the US?'

Nonetheless, we sat at a nearby bench, and we all did our business. Me and Calli talked to each other, and Gura and Amelia talked to each other, leaving Ina alone with her cellphone.

Seeing Ina being by herself on her cellphone though makes me feel a bit hurt, despite her smile. I mean, she's still our friend. Maybe she'd like to engage in a conversation with us too?

I was left with no choice but to ask her something.

"Hey, Ina. What're you doing with your phone?" I asked with a smile.

"Oh? I'm just checking Twitter."

"Hmm? Twitter again?" Calli asked.

"Making a tweet?" I asked as well.

"There's this trend going on....and it's rather interesting. It just happened about half an hour ago."

"Hmm? What did you say, Ina?" Amelia asked.

"What's going on?" Gura asked after Amelia.

"Here, guys. Come take a look at this..."

I stood up, and Amelia also stood up, leaving us in a small circle. Ina in the middle, Calli on her left, Gura on her right, and me and Amelia at her front.

'I bet it's politics, or another trend we don't even care about...maybe k-pop? Then again, if Ina thinks it's interesting, it's probably something that'll interest us too.' I thought as I looked closer at the phone.

Ina tapped something, and turned her phone sideways as we saw the video. I leaned to my right and turned my head to the left, finally facing the screen properly.

The start was basically that there's these guys surrounding these girls, and all of a sudden, a black-masked guy came out of nowhere, and just intervened.

"The trend is #Blackmask. The context of this is apparently that this guy saved these girls from potential molesters. Turns out, it's our senpais...! It's not like a fair fight either. Look at this guy's moves...!" Ina said.

"...Woah...." Calli said.

"He's cool!" Gura said.

"Damn, he's merciless! Right off the bat, he went and just knocked him down!" Amelia said.

"Wow...just wow...." came out from my mouth.

"Oof! He just had to hit the family jewels, ey...?" Gura said.

"Ah damn, he really gives no mercy at all." Calli blinked twice.

"...Woah, he even reacted to that-...that sudden attack from behind..!" I said.

'And he saved our senpais from 5 men? 1v5?! Holy crap!' I thought to myself.

"Wait wait wait, who's the guy in the video...?!" I asked with a goofy wide smile.

"I don't know....some people say it's a publicity stunt, but I've seen a couple updates saying that police officers asked these girls something and took the guys to the hospital. I just know this guy is the real deal..."

"...Wait a minute...." Gura said.

"Hmm? What?" Ina looked at Gura.

"Wait, he has a black mask, right? White hair, black hoodie, white undershirt? With blue pants?"

"Yeah, what about it-" Ina said before widening her eyes.

I also did the same after thinking back to a moment ago.

"...Wait, was that just-" I looked away for a bit before looking at Gura again.

"...Wait, there's nooo way...oh my god." Gura said.

"He-He was...." Amelia covered her mouth with her right hand.

"H-He was the guy we bumped into earlier!" Calli said.

"No...there's nooo way.." I smiled while putting both of my hands on my cheeks.

"Broooooo." Gura smiled like crazy and tapped her feet so much on the ground like a very excited kid.

"Coincidence? I think not!" Amelia said.

"Hehe...I mean, it'd be cool to talk to him...just, you know....I'm curious why he'd do that." Ina said.

"Wait....why did they just stand there, actually?" I said.

"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. They could've ganged up on them earlier than that guy..." Calli said.

"That's rather dumb..." Gura deadpanned at the phone.

"I agree. That's stupid as hell." Amelia blinked twice.

"Well...in the end, they were saved..." Ina smiled.

'Still though....I wonder who he actually is...?'

~~Reine's POV~~

"So...who was that guy?" Ollie asked.

I shrugged.

"I don't know who he was. We were about to intersect each other, but he insisted that I'll go first, so..."

"Ohhh?~ Is he your type?~" Ollie asked with a grin.

"What the-no! I don't even know what he looks like!" I asked, slightly turning red while glaring at Ollie.

I mean, he did give off a badass aura, but...he had a black mask on. I'd need to really know what he looks like before I could say it.

"Good thing he ain't a creep." Moona said.

"Ah yeah, you were a model before, Moona-senpai, so it makes sense that you'd be a bit cautious around men, since you were confessed to a lot in high school, right?" I said.

"Well, that was the past. I have my own freedom now! Besides, not a lot of men are confessing anymore." Moona said happily.

"If they did so, I'll punch the crap out of 'em!" Iofi said while raising her fist.

"Scary." We sweat dropped.

"Hey uh....guys? I gotta show something later...." Anya said while sweating a bit as she looked at her phone.

"Hmm? What's wrong?" Risu asked.

"I just got recommended something, and it's trending right now..."

"Uh, What's the trend?" I asked.

"'#Blackmask'...."

"'#Blackmask?' That's funny. That guy was wearing a black mask as well." I giggled.

"....woah, holy crap, guys! We really need to stop for a bit and look at it!"

"E-Eh? Really?" Ollie asked.

"Well...I mean, we technically got all day-" Moona got cut off.

"It's our senpais involved in a fight!"

"...WHAT?!" We all said to Anya.

"Sounds concerning! I'm up for it!" Iofi said.

"Count me in!" Risu added.

We stopped near the edge of the floor, and we set down our bags. Us 6 got our phones out, and we checked the trending page of Twitter. Specifically the trend Anya said a while ago.

"....What the-"

"He's.....I thought 1 person against a group is impossible..." Ollie said.

"This guy was exactly the one we encountered!" I said.

"This guy...is actually a nice guy." Moona said.

"Hmm....he's rather tall..." Iofi pouted.

"Still can't believe we just met him by accident there..." Risu said.

"I know, right? It's crazy...! Just happened about an hour ago!" Anya said.

'This guy....' I thought.

I smiled a bit afterwards and giggled.

"He's badass..." I blurted.

"Oh?~ So you do like him?~" Ollie said.

"What the-no!" I blushed more than before, probably almost as red as a tomato.

"Oh, c'mon, Reine! Admit it!" Anya said.

"Oh? You only met for a short amount of time, and you have a crush already?~" Risu asked while putting on a cheeky smug.

"Yieeeeee!~~" Moona and Iofi covered their mouths with their left hands.

"Grr...SHUT UP, GUYS!" I said while looking away and covering my face with both of my hands.

~~Civia's POV~~

Me, Artia, and the others laid our notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners on the counter, and the lady started scanning our items.

'Hmm....he looked kinda cute, not gonna lie...too bad I don't think I'll meet him again...' I giggled.

I heard a small buzz coming from my left, then saw Artia looking down on her right pocket, and getting her phone.

"...Hmm? A recommendation in Twitter...?" Artia said.

"What is it, Artia?" I asked.

"It's uh...a trend."

"Hmm?" I tilted my head.

"Let me check it actually..." Yogiri said.

"....Huh, interesting..." Rosalyn said.

"I gotta say...I thought he was gonna be beaten up....the tables turned so quickly..." Artia said.

'Beaten up...? It's a fight...?' I thought to myself.

"Eh? Civia, check it out too!" Echo said like a child pestering her mother to do something.

"E-Eh? O-O-Okay...."

I got my phone out from my handbag too, and I checked my notifications.

"Even I got it...."

I tapped it, and I did the usual "simple" pattern of my phone. Once it unlocked, I checked the little video of it. It ranged around 1 minute, and it had the tag "#Blackmask."

"....Huh....'Context: Around Tokyo, 4 girls were ganged up on by 5 guys, who are supposedly 'molesters'. A guy in a black mask intervened, saving the girls.'...."

I tapped the video, turned my phone sideways, and just at the start when he was raised up, I gasped a bit.

"T-This is where things escalated....?"

Just after that, he did some crazy things to him and instantly kicked him in the stomach, leading to the guy falling to the ground. Not to mention, he took care of all of them as if he wasn't pressured at all.

"...H-He's amazing...!" I mumbled.

"Eh?! He wasn't the guy we just bumped into, was he?" Yogiri asked.

"No no no, it can't be...." Artia said.

"This is...interesting..." Doris said.

"What an interesting fellow…" Rosalyn said.

"This guy is amazing! He's totally the one we bumped into earlier!" Echo cheered.

"Huh....he's a gentleman for helping those 4 girls..." I mumbled.

I giggled afterwards.

"Ano....m-miss...?" I heard behind me.

"Ah, hm-hmm...?"

"Z-Ze totaru amountu is...zuree zousand faibuhandured sephenteen. (T-The total amount is...three thousand five hundred seventeen.)"

"A-Ah, yes! Sorry, lemme get my money real quick..." I said in English as I put my phone in my pocket, and rummaged through my bag to get my wallet.

~~Aloe's POV~~

"Nene-chi! Nene-chi!" I tapped Nene's back at a gentle yet rapid pace.

"H-H-H-Hmm...?"

"Look at this guy...! It's a currently trending video!" I pointed at my phone's screen as I showed it in landscape mode.

"Hmm...? Wait, that's Ayame-senpai and the others-Oh my god! He's gonna get killed...!" Both her eyes and mouth were wide open.

"That's what you think! But look....!"

"Hmm...? Oh...? Oh..! Oh! ....OH MY GOD! HE'S A-"

"I know, right! He's so cool!"

'Not to mention, he does look kinda cute...I won't lie...' I thought to myself.

"Man, I wonder what he actually is...?" Nene asked herself.

"A better question would be...'who' he actually is?"

"Yeah...wait, what actually happened there...?"

"Basically, our senpais were apparently being surrounded in a circle by these 5 guys, then later on, this black masked guy just came in and...." I finished my sentence by doing random air punches. "You know?" I added and giggled.

"Oh...he's a cool guy! I wanna be able to give him thanks! Our senpais are safe!"

"I know, right?! Hey, should you tell the others too?! It'd be cool!"

"Yeah! Let's let the others know it's our senpais!"

"I mean...technically, it's you only, remember? I'm not there anymore..." I looked away.

"Ah-yeah....well, doesn't matter. Alo-chi, here's my phone! Share this tweet in our personal server in Discord! Let's let everybody see it!"

~~Choco's POV~~

"Itadakimasu!" I said as I put my hands together.

I got my chopsticks and giggled, taking in the scent of my food.

The aroma of the chicken noodles is calling my hand to pick it up, which is also making my mouth water. But just before I touched it with my chopsticks, I heard my phone ring a little "Chocon!~".

"Oh? A notification, huh....?"

I checked it.

"...Huh? 2?"

One notification was a tweet with the tag "#Blackmask", and another was our discord server talking about a tweet.

"...Hmm....I'll check this later..."

~~Sora's POV~~

"Alright...! Just took a shower...!" I said as I sat on my computer's chair.

I repositioned my butt on the chair, trying to let my buttcheeks find a comfortable spot, and I went to Google.

"Okay....oh?"

I got some sort of twitter recommendation from an unknown person.

"...#Blackmask....?"

I clicked it nonetheless. I was thinking maybe it's a mask product? Maybe people are making so-called "memes" out of it...?

"...Wait, what?"

It's not an advertisement then?

"...AYAME-CHAN?!?!"

~~Matsuri's POV~~

"Hoh...oh? A guy with a black mask, huh? That kinda explains the tag then...oh no-OH NO! YABAI! NO! SOMEBODY HELP THAT GUY-eh...? Oh? Oh! OH! HE KNOWS HOW TO FIGHT?! OH DAMN, that poor guy was just thrown at the other two. Hahaha-ah-"

I grimaced a bit as I saw the guy elbowing the other guy's balls.

"Err....okay, he is a bit um....well, he's merciless." I giggled nervously.

"But seriously....he's amazing...."

~~Aqua's POV~~

"Eh...? He's really really amazing...."

I wish I could do that....too bad I can't really do well when I'm around a lot of people....not to mention, I can't even punch....

"...Ayame-chan and the others are safe...." I said as I leaned back on my chair.

"...." I shook my head and put my hand on my cheek while smiling.

"That-That's just...unreal...."

Imagine what would've happened if that guy never came along...?

~~Korone's POV~~

"He can do much more than boxing, huh...?" I smiled.

I stood up and stretched.

"Huh...Huf! Huf!...Huf! Huf!" I said as I got into an orthodox stance and did a few jabs and straights.

"Hrr...Huf!" I grunted as I tried a roundhouse kick. Didn't care if it wasn't proper.

"Hehehe...that guy, seriously...."

Strangely, I wanna spar against him...just to see how strong he actually is. I don't care about that "a real man shouldn't hit a woman" crap. I wanna see his actual abilities against me!

"....Even though I feel like I'll be beaten up." I said as I did my usual high-pitched laughter.

~~Flare's POV~~

"Seriously...woah, there are so many videos of him...." I chuckled.

Literally, there are 12k tweets about him now, and it's not stopping just yet.

"I gotta say...I may not know who he is, but he has my respect. He just...he just went in there and saved Mio-senpai, Fubuki-senpai and the others..."

I shook my head, and no matter what I did, I couldn't really stop myself from smiling like crazy.

"Ah...too bad he walked away though..."

~~Temma's POV~~

"Woah....this guy is off the frickin' charts, yo...." I mumbled.

This guy can really fight. No joke.

"Damn, he's seriously not an amateur. That kick he did at the end? He did that with proper technique...I would know since I used to practice Karate....damn....he's fucking cool." I giggled.

~~Watame's POV~~

Watame: Yo guys! Did you just see the recent recommended trend in twitter?

Towa: I did!

Iofi: You guys got it too, right?!

Mio: I see we're getting rather a lot of attention... -_-")

Watame: But I mean, that's cool! If I were you, I would've asked for his name! He seemed like a really good guy!

Pekora: You guys also got it-peko?

Miko: That guy had the most elite of moves!

Seeing the uproar in the discord chat is making me giggle. We never knew we'd all talk about it, outside of trends we shared in a small group or if it's about Hololive...

"Never knew we'd talk this much about him, seriously..." I said to myself.

I looked at my computer's time. It was 12:40 PM.

"...I wonder if Yagoo got the notification too...?"

Maybe he's in awe? I sure am.

~~Yagoo's POV~~

"...."

'Oh, I'm in awe, alright...' I thought to myself.

I deadpanned at the phone as I saw Shiro beating the guys up and seeing my talents being caught up in these guys' little fight.

"Oh, he did not just do it....he did noooot just do it..." I said as I set my phone back on my desk face-down, and ended my little moment with a sigh.

"...I wonder what their reaction will be when I give the 'announcement'..."

Most probably, they might be shocked. Doesn't matter if it's an angry-shocked or a happy-shocked, but it's a shock in general.

"...Sigh, whatever I'm gonna continue eati-"

"Yagoo, we got a big problem. Basically, there's been wildfire spreading around in the office as we speak, and we realized it's-"

"I know, I know. The newest member of Holostars, Ishijin Shiro. The twitter trend, am I correct?"

"Yes! This could be possibly dangerous exposing Shiro's identity along with the other talents! It'll just be like [REDACTED] except it's a he and he doesn't have any controversy around him yet!"

"Don't worry...trust me, it's gonna be fine, A-chan. Shiro may do some dumb stuff sometimes, but he's not stupid. He's totally aware of what he just got into. And besides, it's not like they'd know him easily anyway, other than the fact he has white hair, and a black mask. I mean, everybody has different eye colors, dammit."

"Sigh....so you want me to tell them to calm down?"

"I know it won't be as simple as that, but tell them that I got my eye on him, so he's not likely to do something 'risky' again."

"...So I say something like 'Oh, Yagoo-san said that he contacted Shiro-san, so it's fine' or something?"

"Un. Now go. I still need to finish my lunch. Hell, you also need to finish your lunch."

"Still got some paperwork to do before I eat."

"Just eat your lunch. I'll help you with that. I got like 20 minutes of spare time after I finish this before I gotta do my own stack."

"Really? Thanks, I guess. Well, I'll be going now. Thanks for your time, Mr. CEO of Cover." She chuckled, and closed the doors, leaving me alone in the office once more.

"Sigh....'Ishijin Shiro, a solo debutant of Holostars representing V-R.A.P.P. a.k.a the Vrapper of Holostars', huh...?"

"...Heh. Kurome, your son has really grown up now...."

~~Matsuri's POV~~

"Hrrngh....Luna....Hehehe....I love you...~"

"...Nene's butt....can I touch it, Nenechi?~"

"....I know we just met yesterday, but can I see your dick plea-"

BZZZZ. BZZZZZ.

I opened my eyes from the sudden loud buzzing noise, but because I just woke up suddenly, my eyes needed to adapt both to light and to opening properly, cause I still had to blink since my eyes felt "sticky".

"Grr....urusai." I said as I swiped up on my phone.

I smacked my lips a few times, and hugged my body pillow as I lay back down in bed.

"Ah....where was I now...? Oh yes, that hot guy from the twitter video..."

...

...

BZZZZZ. BZZZZ.

"...."

I could do nothing but sigh.

I got up like before, stopped the alarm like before, and went back to bed like I did before...

...then I did that twice more. That makes it 4 times in total.

"Ugh, time to finally go to school, I guess...."

My last alarm was exactly 7:00 AM.

"If only I didn't do this to myself." I said as I wiped my eyes.

I giggled nonetheless.

"Still, I want to chat with the others! Especially Luna!"

~~AZKi's POV~~

I turned the shower head on, letting me feel the warm water hit my skin as it felt like water was bouncing off of me.

"Hmm hmm, Hmm hmm, hmm hmm, Take me to heaven.~" I hummed as I got the soap and laid my hands on my chest as I started rubbing the soap against it.

~~Sora's POV~~

"I can't wait to meet the others again!" I said as I turned the shower head off, leaving my body wet and the water dripping from my hair to the floor and my body.

I especially can't wait to meet AZKi too! We're a pair, so it's natural for us to miss each other.

I got out of my bath, wiped my hair, and went to my closet to find my uniform.

~~Noel's POV~~

"And.....oisho!" I said as I put on my left thigh high black sock, making sure it's on tight. And lastly my black shoes.

I stood up and walked to the mirror to see my reflection on it. Green eyes, and the white hair that I see almost everyday.

I saw my white long-sleeved blazer with some black stripes on the collar and the cuffs of my sleeves, the black undershirt's long sleeves sticking out at the end of my blazer's sleeves, a red ribbon near my collar, and a dark blue skirt for the bottom part of my uniform. I also looked further down to check my socks and my black shoes.

I put on a smile, seeing how I look neat and rather beautiful, despite me not wanting to compliment myself cause it sounds rather conceited.

"...But I'm sure Flare will like this!"

I went out of my room with my bag in hand, went out, closed the door, and ran downstairs.

"Mom, dad!"

"Hey, be careful, Noel! You might slip!" My mom giggled.

"Don't worry, I'm a big girl!"

I hugged them both on the kitchen counter, who are currently cooking their own breakfast.

"Oh! Hehehe, my little angel is going back to the dorm school!" My mom said.

"Please take care of yourself, Noel!" My dad said.

I nodded.

"If I remember correctly, Tanigo-san's private courier group will take care of your things again, right?" My mom asked.

"Un un!"

"Just make sure to be a good girl in school, okay?"

She looked at me in the eyes with a very big smile, like she was wishing me good luck for another year.

"Okay, mom!"

I went to the door of our house where I will finally start the 1st day of 2nd year college.

"Ittekimasu!" I shouted as my voice rang inside the peaceful home of the Shirogane household.

"Have a good school year once again!" My mom and dad waved.

I finally stepped foot to the outside world, knowing I will now have to meet Flare. Once I closed the door, I held tight to my bag, and I kept running in the empty street, hearing birds above me.

"Hah...hah...hah...Flare, I hope you're up early...! It's the orientation and first day of school today!"

I kept running to Flare's house, knowing I am gonna be sweating a bit but I can't control it! My heart is both pounding from running and from excitement of seeing her!

"Flare!" I shouted as I saw a dark-skinned girl in the distance with yellow hair as the wind hits against it. She looked back at me with a smile.

"Noel!" She shouted as she waved her hand at me.

When I finally got closer to her, I wrapped my arms around her, and she hugged me back while giggling.

"Ohayou, Noel."

"Un. Ohayou, Flare."

After a good amount of skinship, we let go of each other.

"Let's go to school now, shall we?" I asked.

She nodded.

~~Choco's POV~~

"Can't wait to finally get there and meet the others for another year..." I said as I kept looking down at the ground, holding my bag near my chest and kept sitting on my seat.

I heard and felt a buzz in my bag. The buzz was strong enough that it went to the handle of my bag.

"Oh? I wonder what this is..."

'It better not be another Twitter trend. I can't process 2 things at once!' I giggled internally.

I searched through my bag, and found my phone.

When I turned it on, it was a message from Yagoo.

[ Choco turned the phone on~ ]

"Yagoo....?"

I tapped the message, and did my usual password. The message read: "Hololivers, Holostars, please come to the meeting room of the building. We gotta talk about our 'new member.'"

I raised an eyebrow.

"New member? I never knew we got a recruited member recently."

The only ones I'm aware of is Hololive Indonesia 2nd gen, and there's still a recruitment going on for the 2nd English generation. Or was it the Vsingers? I can't remember but it's something related to the EN branch.

I smiled thinking it might be another girl kouhai.

"I guess I'm looking forward to the new member! Especially if she's a cute one!~"

Too bad it's only one though...

~~Luna's POV~~

I looked up from the gate of the school and the huge octagon-shaped area of the school to the huge buildings where most of the classrooms are as we crossed the bridge to the academy.

"It's great to be back for the 2nd time to this school-nanora!" I said.

"Gotta admit, it's nice to be here in this school, Luna." Matsuri said.

Matsuri touched my hand lightly before playing with our fingers to finally grip onto it.

"Especially because we can spend more time together." She said.

I giggled and held her hand back.

I looked towards my back and saw Coco and the others, so I waved at them.

'Nice to see everybody else too...!'

~~Coco's POV~~

I breathed in, smelling the air coming from the clashes of the water against the pillars supporting this school, and smelling that familiar sulfury smell from the ocean.

"Ah....ohayou-motherfuckers!" I said out of impulse, feeling a surge of enthusiasm.

"Ohayou indeed!" Towa said.

"What a nice school year it's gonna be today." Kanata said.

"Sure is, Kanatan!" I wrapped my arm around her and giggled.

~~Lamy's POV~~

"C'mon, Nene-chi! We gotta get to the meeting room! Yagoo said so, you know?" Nene said.

"Coming!"

"Hey, wait for me!" Polka shouted.

Nene and Polka ran along with Aloe, holding their bags as they ran towards the gate.

I sighed.

"They're just like a bunch of kids."

Botan giggled and wrapped her arm around me, making me look at her sudden action.

"Don't worry. We're still young, you know? We gotta have our time, and act childish. I mean, we're young adults, but you get what I mean."

I giggled from Botan's last sentence.

"You're right..." I smiled.

I looked around, and saw everybody looking at us as they whispered to their own circles.

I giggled, and waved at one of them. They shrieked quite audibly and held their cheeks.

'Ah....well, the usual thing for us Hololivers...I hope to see more new members in the future.' I thought to myself and smiled.

~~Risu's POV~~

I looked around the campus, smiling as I remembered me, Moona, and Iofi getting along with each other when the three of us were really shy and were still new to Hololive.

"It feels very nostalgic!" I said as I stretched.

"I still remember that one time Iofi accidentally dropped her lunch, so we had to share our lunch with her." Moona laughed.

"H-Hey! That was in the past, okay?!" Iofi shouted with a face that's noticeably red.

"Yeah 2x..." Moona said.

"Oi! Risu-senpai!" I heard a voice in the distance.

I felt a sudden crash into my back, and 2 arms around me as I smelled a familiar scent that only a kawaii zombie idol could give.

"K-K-K-K-Kureiji Ollie-desuuuuu!"

"Hey, Ollie." I patted her head with my left hand as I turned a bit to my right.

I felt the arms releasing me, giving me more room to breathe, and I looked back to see the other 2nd gen members.

"Good morning, Reine, Anya." I said.

"Morning, Risu-senpai!"

~~Calli's POV~~

Me and my gen buddies walked towards the building, hearing the liveliness of the whole school with their chatters. However, it's not like me and my gen buddies went to the Hololive building normally....

"Kusotori, why do you have to keep clinging to me every single day...?!" I blushed a bit with a tick on my head.

"Calli! Remember, we're a couple, so we should look like one!"

My left eye twitched and my cheeks blushed more red.

"Kusotori, please get off me! Right now, we're in business mode!"

I heard the others laugh from my annoyance.

"I see you're doing your lovey-dovey thing like usual." Amelia said.

"Shut up, Amelia!" I shouted at Amelia's little comment.

"Hey, don't say that to my hubby!" Gura joked.

They laughed once again, including Kiara, while I sighed and facepalmed with my left hand.

'This is really embarrassing....' I groaned internally.

"Too bad I don't have anybody to be shipped with. Alexa, play unravel." Ina giggled.

~~Artia's POV~~

Me and the 1st gen went inside the elevator of the Hololive building, and I pressed the number 8 near the door.

"You think the new member is the cute one we encountered from that school supplies store?" Civia asked.

"Not to kill your hopes, Civia, but 1: This isn't a cliche anime, and 2: You're mine! Don't cheat on me!" I said.

"Oh yeah. I forgot that."

We giggled, and Civia leaned in to me to give me a quick peck on the lips. Just a friendly girly peck.

"Mwah!"

We giggled once more.

~~Roberu's POV~~

"Ne, you think it's a guy? It's been a long time since we got a Holostar member!" I said while hopping around a lot and loosening up my shoulders.

Kira giggled.

"Dunno, I say the chances are slim. I mean, Holostars wasn't really popular to begin with, so..." Kira said.

"Well, all that matters is that we gotta treat the new member as a pal! We're a family, guys! We went through a lot of challenges together. This is nothing!" I said.

"Ne, if it's a girl, will any of you make a daring move? I know I won't." Kaoru asked.

"Hell nah, I ain't interested in getting anybody right now. #singleforever." Astel said.

We laughed at the silly hashtag Astel made.

"Still, if it's a guy, what do you think of him? A shy one? Maybe someone we can joke around with?" Shien asked.

"He's prolly gonna be a crackhead like the rest of us." Aruran giggled.

"Since when were we not crackheads?" Astel chuckled.

We finally arrived at the Hololive meeting room, and we saw Yagoo and a couple girls. We saw the vacant seats near the door, and we made our way there.

"Ohayou!" We shouted.

"Ohayou!" They replied back, and we finally sat down.

"Ah, hey guys!" Fubuki said from our left.

"Oh? Fubuki-senpai. Ohayou!" I waved at her.

The boys also greeted and waved at her.

~~Yagoo's POV~~

I giggled.

"Nice to see the Hololivers are alive and going. I hope none of you are late."

"There's no way, omee. We're idols, you know?" Shion giggled.

"Idols that like crushing my dream. Guess I'm a unique CEO, aren't I?"

We all laughed in the office, now feeling nothing but positivity in the air.

"It seems not one of you here is missing now, except for the new member, but that's okay."

"Ne, who's the new member?" Matsuri started.

"Yeah, who actually is this girl?" Rikka asked.

Everybody was gossiping, and I giggled.

"Okay 2x, calm down, minna-san."

They shut up quickly, and looked at me.

"Wait a minute, Yagoo. I wanna ask a question!" Watame raised her hand.

"Hmm?"

"Mind telling us what you think of that trending tweet? It was so cool!"

"Ah yeah, Yagoo, what do you think of that?" Polka asked.

"Yo, he was just....pa pa pa pa! Instantaneous and just beat 5 guys along with Subaru-senpai and the others! He's a cool guy!" Oga said.

I giggled as I heard them all starting to talk with each other again.

"Yes yes, I saw that. And uh....ehem, attention, please?" I said while looking at them all.

They all stopped talking and looked at me in the eyes as they leaned closer.

I sighed, preparing for their reaction to what I'm about to say.

"I got something to confess...."

"...What, you got like...a crush on one of us?" Polka asked.

"Eh?! Yagoo, that's disgusting! You're an old man!" Pekora joked and laughed.

"What?! Yagoo, you really have a thing or two for one of us?!" Marine asked.

"Wait, seriously? Yagoo has a cru-...."

I got a tick on my head as I heard them speaking more "possibilities" towards me.

"I have a wife and kids, you idiots."

"Idio-" They froze.

"Heh. Well, jokes aside, it's actually about the tweet."

I looked at Ayame, Mio, Subaru, and Fubuki.

"You 4 saw him personally, right?"

"Un!" They replied.

"And you guys know what he looks like from the video, right?" I asked everybody else.

"Un! (Yes!)" They replied.

"Well uh...you see, this guy is...."

I smiled widely.

"...our new member."

All of them instantly widened their eyes and, if this was a comic, their jaws would've dropped to the floor. That shows how surprised they are.

"HIM?! REALLY?!" The girls shouted in surprise.

The Holostars started jumping around and laughing like hell.

"IT'S A GODDAMN DUDE, GUYS!" Roberu shouted.

"NOT ONLY THAT, IT WAS THE BADASS GUY WITH THE BLACK MASK! ALRIGHT!" Kira shouted.

"LET'S GOOOOOO!" Aruran stood up as he pointed his finger gun to his temples.

The boys were really celebrating the fact that they now know it's a he. In fact, this might be the noisiest they've ever been in this room. Only this room though.

The girls sweat dropped.

"Calm down, boys." I said.

"Oh? Hai hai, gomen." They said.

They sat back down, and I looked at everybody.

"So, does he have other gen mates too? It can't just be one." Watame asked.

"Nope. He'll be solo debuting. Although technically a 4th gen, he's gonna be a solo member. Kinda like AZKi, you know? He's a Vrapper though. Not a Vsinger."

"Eh?! Why go solo though?" Aqua asked.

"I was gonna put him in with other gen mates, but uh....yeah. 1: We haven't had a Holostar member in a long time, so this makes me very happy to get him in, which I did, but 2, which is the most important reason: He wanted to stream as soon as possible, which he said before I let him join without hesitating. I asked him if it was okay for him to debut solo, and he said he was fine with it."

I then looked at Calli.

"Well, I think you're gonna especially like him, Calli-chan." I said.

Calli raised an eyebrow.

"Just cause he's a Vrapper?"

"Well...obviously that, but trust me, he's waaaay different than what you normally think of a 'rapper'. Trust me. And AZKi, I hope that once the collab restriction is lifted, and there's a good opportunity for you two to collab, you two can make a song together.

AZKi and Calli nodded and Calli looked away while AZKi lowered her head while playing with her hands, it seems.

"I see..." Calli said.

"Um...just a question, Yagoo, if it's not weird. What's his sexuality?" Kiara asked.

"Gay." I giggled.

"Phew..!" The girls said.

"Huh...I see..." The boys deadpanned at me.

"...Just kidding! He's straight."

"...a-" The boys said.

The girls widened their eyes, and hugged each other as they shouted each other's names.

"FLARE!" Noel said.

"OKAYU!" Korone said.

"LUNA!" Matsuri said.

"CALLI!" Kiara said.

"MY WIVES!" Ollie said.

"GURA!" Amelia said.

"CIVIA!" Artia said.

"MOONA, IOFI!" Risu said.

"PEKORA! (PONKOTSU!)" Miko and Pekora said.

"SORA-CHAN! (AZKI-CHI!)" AZKi and Sora said.

"WATAME!" Haato said.

"I'M A GUY THOUGH!" Kira said.

"NO ONE SAID YOU WERE A GIRL!" They all shouted.

"Don't worry. He's a....'unique' guy."

"...Huh?" Everybody deadpanned at me.

"The thing is...whatever. You'll see for yourself in the orientation, but just know he's 'different'."

They all still stared at me before staring at each other, and nodding.

"Hai (Got it)." They all said.

I put my hands on the table and stood up.

"Well, we got a couple minutes left. How about we prepare in the multi-purpose building? At that time, maybe he would finally arrive."

'Strange. Shiro rarely comes late. He already committed this mistake twice in his life. I hope he won't do it for a third time.' I thought and sweat dropped.

Everybody nodded.

"Let's go, everybody!" I said.

"Hai, Yagoo!"

We all made our way down from the building. When we finally made our way down, we could see only a few students around. I guess they were chillaxing for a bit before deciding to wait in the building.

We all went through the backdoor of the building where me and my talents will go through to step on the stage. Though there are stairs at both sides of the stage in case we need to go through the front door, we usually go through the back.

As we walked towards the center of the stage, the students started their little chitter-chatter.

"Look, it's Sora-senpai! Kyah!"

"Hey 2x, look how cute Rikka-kun is!"

"Oh my gosh, look at Flare-senpai!"

"Pekora-chan is looking cute as always!"

"Look at Oga-kun! He's so muscular like Aruran-kun!"

I giggled.

"Everybody, sit down on the chairs." I said.

The Hololivers nodded, and made their way to their own chairs.

I grabbed the mic that A-chan was holding as she came up to me, and she went back to the mixers and laptop along with a couple other staff members when I finally grabbed the mic.

"Ehem...Testing, testing, 1 2 3-"

I heard a loud ring from the speakers and grimaced, so I had to turn the mic off.

I turned it back on after about 2 seconds, and tested it once more.

I looked at A-chan, and she gave a thumbs up.

"Alright...guess I'll put this on the stand for now until it's finally time to go."

I did so, and waited until it's 8:00 AM.

When it finally reached 8:00 AM in my watch, and I started speaking on the mic, I got the stand out of the way, and a staff member got it out, leaving me, and this mic here.

"Ohayou-gozaimasu, minna-san."

"Ohayou-gozaimasu!" The girls replied.

"So, today, we gather up to have our orientation. Currently, there's 1 member of Hololive missing. We have a new member recruited, but I don't know where he is. I think he's still making his way?"

The girls in the crowd gasped, and talked to each other.

"A he?"

"It's a he?"

"I mean, this is a restricted co-ed school, so he should be fine, right?"

"I wonder, will he be as cute as Rikka-kun?"

"Maybe he's as manly as Oga-kun or Aruran-kun?"

"It'll be a waste if he's gay though..."

"Hey, if it was that guy in the twitter trend, who'd you pair him up with? I go with Black Mask Guy x Shien-kun! Teehee!~"

I cleared my throat.

"Everybody, please calm down. I assure you this guy is good." I chuckled.

Silence ensued.

"So, as you all know, Entertainment Academy is a newly-established school. Since last year, a lot of you aspiring entertainers have been doing well, but as you all know, we have a special group in this school called 'Hololive'. An 'idol agency similar to AKB48.'" I shit on my own joke, and everybody laughed quite loudly. That puts a big smile on my face.

"So as you all know, Hololive is an idol agency, but they're more like streamers and entertainers, rather than an actual idol agency, except for AZKi-chan and Sora-chan. They're one of my most treasured members. I put that on my life." I said as I raised my hand up.

The audience giggled.

"So, for the start of the orientation, we shall review their outputs to remind us that they're still idols in heart! So everybody, sit back, relax, and watch Hololive as they entertain you with their amazing and awe-inspiring talent!"

"WHOOOOOOO!!!!" The audience screamed.

I turned the mic off, and I rushed towards the left side of the stage if you were looking from the perspective of the audience. I got my phone immediately and checked for Shiro's LINE number.

"Where's Shiro-kun..?!" A-chan asked.

"That's what I'm doing right now!" I replied as I went in LINE and wrote a message to him. After that, I tapped my foot on the ground as I looked at Gen 0 standing on stage as the staff gave each of them wireless microphones.

"...Oh, they're starting." I said, both in amazement....and fear.
