Freaks

Something that is fairly common between freaks since the great war , they became timid . The fear of being caught in addition to the fact that more than 80% of the freaks let were born after the war , at least 10 years later and they were mostly treated badly or locked inside during their childhood.

New horizons, Ella's ' new school ' despised them , Whenever they had to teach about the way they would describe how monstrous and savage those people were , Always shows the worst in freaks. The students who had a secret power were forced to hide it from Everyone , They were always told they were bad and evil and that they would be better off dead.

Another fact about freaks is that they can sense each other , They can tell if someone was a freak , though they can't tell their level nor their powers. When Max was the student council president during his junior year , The freaks thought they might have a chance to have a normal life but ... It didn't work. But they were mentally too weak to do anything , Max gave them enough support and assured them that as long as they kept their powers a secret they would be fine , He could protect them .

Things were sweet and dandy for two years , But once most of them were juniors , Max had to leave for college. They were devastated , Max was the only council president to be a freak , and the only one stable enough to keep them in line. Fortunately he managed to get one more year at new horizons until they get a substitute for him. He had other people to take care of.

And then , They came. Three new students transferred in the middle of the year. Rich , famous and good looking , and the most important thing ,they were freaks .

Two of them were also different , They started encouraging all of the freaks to show their powers , But they were too scared to. No one knew Ella nor Damien's powers either , So the thought they were probably just as scared.

Until , One morning everyone came to see Ella standing on the edge of the roof , thinking it was a suicide attempt some ran to try and stop her. She got startled and Tripped over and fell , Everyone screamed when she hit the ground . Instead of blood filling the ground , the cement was cracked and she was on one knee with her hand on the floor , She stood up and cracked her bones.

"That was interesting" they heard her mumble. They were stunned when she turned and looked at them like it was nothing. She put her hands in her pockets and clicked her tongue "Welp , sorry for the cement. I'll pay" The teachers were already staring at her .

"Ms,Robens , Come here" One of the teachers said , She followed shrugging her shoulders.

She turned and winked at them and was lead to the principal's office. Cops came to the school , and apparently Ella was ' apprehended ' for ' ruining the cement floor '. But everyone - all freaks - knew what she was really caught for.

"Granny will get her out in an hour " Anthonie said smiling when Katelyn asked about her.

"Aren't you even worried?" she asked

"It happened before " he said nervously as walked past her " And she was just being herself , classic Ella "
