4 Unknowing

I marched downstairs. A worn staircase with no maintenance. Ideal as a hiding place considering it shows that people hardly go there. As I reached the end of the staircase. A lad, playing something besides the door.

"Praise to you," that lad greeted.

My junior, wearing a school uniform. One of the prefects, or I would describe them as 'peasants'. I ordered him to overlook the door and notify me if a teacher was coming. He followed his orders well. I stopped. The sound of my footstep lingers in the small room, greeting him back.

"Yes, you too," as I opened the door.

I took a look at the school's corridor. A long corridor that sides the teacher's room. A near-empty place.

"Where is everybody"-I turn around scanning for the vicinity of people- "and teachers?" I demanded to Rahim.

"Went home." he replied.

"This early?"

"That's why I told you to follow me."

I need some information.

"Wait in the class. I want to take something," I responded to him.

Without question, he nodded. He understands that I'm somewhat an occupied guy. He strolls away while staring outside from the window with a bothered appearance, towards an elevator. Proceeding to our class.

"Wonder wtf happened..." I endeavored an imagination.

After having no conclusion, I proceeded to the staffroom. As I arrived at the main entrance of the room. I stare at the door. A delightfully colored door with blue and a splash of red color. There was a sign, a word from the tutors.

'PROHIBITED PLACE FOR STUDENTS'

I chuckled. I can see how they want to establish authority. An electronic keypad connected to the lock was installed next to the door. Neglecting the warning, I registered the principal's passcode. A code that was given as a symbol of faith from the principal. A trust that was formed after 'that' case. As I inserted the code, a teacher came out. A man in his late 30s. A unique teacher from another school which had to move under the ministry of education's order.

"Charle, what are you doing here?" he demanded.

"Just going to take some items," I responded briefly. Luckily, he's considerate to me.

"I see... Take care"

"From what?" I asked. Trying to get knowledge on this 'hot item'

"You'll know it later." taking his phone out and snapped a picture with me. "Farewell and see you later." indicating he's going back home too.

I hailed my hand at him with a smile.
