Ouch!

Farina whimpered when I pinched her cheeks. We were walking past the storeroom adjoining the elevator. Rahim alongside her laughed while carrying his red backpack. When we were walking beyond emergency stairs, I took out my phone and photographed the school block. Then I hid it in my pocket. I grinned. It felt like a normal day going back to our house.

Suddenly, an automobile was speeding towards us. The car's tire screeches as the car brakes in front of us. A blue-white car with an EPR logo embedded on its body. A bulletproof car with no window as security for high-profile people. A lad in a black suit came out of the vehicle and proceeded to open the passenger seat's door. A man in his late 50s can be seen stepping out of his car.

"My dear student councilors! Good afternoon," He greeted us with a big smile.

"Good afternoon to you too, sir," we greeted back. Acknowledging him.

The principal of the school, Sir Anthony Russel. Donning his casual white suit. Yes, he's an American. He's been taking care of us for the last 3 years in this school. We had a wicked impression of him as an American. Yet, it's the polar opposite of what we had thought. He's very nice to students and appreciates them like his own children. With that in mind, his daughter enrolled in this school as a class 1-A student this year. He also managed to bring our school to its utmost performance in education, sports, and extra-curricular activity. He's friendly to the student council. It's natural for someone to give affection to people who's been working great. Especially for peoples under him.

"You three already knew about the incident, right?" the principal asked.

"Yes. We do know about it. But with little information about it, we can't do anything," I spoke with what I knew.

"Ahh... I thought you've known all about it. Tell everyone to gather in the school hall at 9p.m. I have an announcement to make," he stares at me. "Do your research. I know there's something in your left pocket," he grinned.

"Ehe...he...Yes sir. We'll do that," I said with a surprised face.

"Do you have anything you want to tell us, sir?" Rahim asked.

"Nothing. That's all. Take care," he waved as he entered his car.

"Thank you, sir," We all said it together.

His car tire screeches as the car turns around. His car was so well-made, no sound can be heard from the inside nor the engine. It's expected for a man of his caliber to be riding that kind of transport. After all, he's one of the United Nation's representatives. He was sent to our country as diplomatic ties between nations. He was working under the Department of Education back when he was still in America. That explains how he handled our school ideally. Sadly, he's not there during 'that' incident or a better decision could've followed. While I was drowned in thoughts, his car vanishes as he leaves the school compound.

"Are we just going back to the dorm then?" Farina asked.

Rahim looked at me and replied, "What? Do you have any plans?"

"Do you have anywhere to go, Farina?" I asked, thinking that Rahim's question was forwarded to Farina.

She stood silent for a moment. She then stares at me. "Actually, I do have a place to go," she uttered. "Let's go to the parking lot."

I glanced at my watch. There's still a lot of time. I nodded at Rahim. Who's been pensive with a questioned face. I took a glance at Farina for a while, her eye fixed in the direction of the parking lot. Suddenly, Rahim vanished into thin air. Loud footsteps can be heard behind me. I turned my back then observed Rahim rushing in the direction of the class.

"Where are you going for god's sake?" I shouted.

"Take some items in the class!" He responded while running.

His backpack was left nearby a stair. I inspected my bag then sighed. Rahim forgot to bring my camera and locker keys. Since he left it, he needs to take it back or I'll be locked in my room, staring powerlessly in front of my locker. I prepared a failsafe if something like this would happen. But for some reason, the failsafe 'failed' this morning when I tried to do some diagnostics... Irony. Guess I'll just wait...
