7 Lovebirds and Best friends.

The door creaks as I opened it. My eyes squinted the moment the sun shines from the east. I glanced at my hand watch. A blue-red wristwatch I got on my birthday. The watch shows it's nearly the prefixed time to go back to the dormitory. I begin my walk towards the elevator at the end of the corridor with a click from the coke can. The sound of my footsteps lingers in the ghosted corridor. Creating an eerie environment.

When I was arriving at the elevator, I took out a student card, a card embedded with our personal confirmation to make sure no intruders enter the buildings. The elevator has an automatic panel next to it. It dings as I put the pass on the panel. I waited a while, groping my pocket checking for things that I just took. The elevator dings again as it opens its door. Wasting no time, I entered the elevator then selected level 3, going to the class. Where I'm supposed to meet Rahim.

Ding! the elevator door opens.

I stepped out of the elevator. I gawk at the Level 3 corridor. Yet another empty place. I sighed, expecting to see peoples. I roamed the corridor, went inside most of the classes. The classes are embellished with vivid colors and decorations, yet the absence of people made the class look gloomy. One class made me stopped, Class 4-C. A class of students who got average marks in examinations. I entered it. Admiring the exquisitely decorated class. I've always wanted to join the average class. I have no desire to compete with others. Fate has predestined me to be this way. I can't run from the fact that I carry the highest score in overall school individual performance which, would be a waste if I went to a normal class.

After I stepped outside the class, I went to my class. Class 4-A. A-classes are specialized for students who got excellent marks in overall school performance. Which helps a lot in the development of the school. Bringing more inventors and made the school more influential. As I was approaching the front door of my class, the door was slammed wide by a girl. Taken aback, I petrified for a moment.

"Where did you go?!" the girl demanded an explanation while grabbing my collar.

"Taking some stuff in the staffroom," I replied. Faking a frightened face.

"What stuff? Drugs?" she demanded more questions.

"No, of course not! You know what it is!"

"Oh... Sorry," she let my collar go with an embarrassed face.

I was astonished by the girl's behavior since she never gets like that. A girl. the same age as mine. A beautiful angel that always gives me strength when I was down. My love, Farina. She wears her black uniform, the uniforms are embroidered with gold-ish thread. vice president of student council badge fixed on the left side of her uniform. She turned her head toward me, peeking at me as I was adorning her cuteness. I smiled.

"I asked Rahim your whereabouts when I encountered him in the class. He said you were going somewhere. I'm worried about you. There's also this terrio-"

I patted her head. She stopped talking.

"Don't worry. I'm fine," I assured her while brushing her hair.

Behind her, a bothersome guy sits on the teacher's chair, chuckling then imitating our behavior. His hand holding a novel he bought from a nearby store. A red and a blue bag were put on top of the desk in front of him. I walk towards him, touched his left shoulder.

"Can you stop doing that, Rahim?" I begged.

"Your wish is my command, Charle," Rahim said while smirking.

Criticized by my own words. I smirked then laughed, "Ahaha! Rahim, you prick!"

Farina smiled from behind. Looking at a pair of unique best friends.

As I stopped laughing. I asked, "Why did you pack all this? To prepare before a terrorist attack like what happened to Pelintang Institute?"

Confused, Rahim asked, "Wait... How did you know?"

"I met a teacher in the staffroom. She's the one who told me what happened," I responded.

"Anyway, we need to prepare if something happens. We've been in peace for 5 years after all." he reasoned.

Agreeing with him. I took my bag on the desk.

"You've packed all my you-know-what items, right?"

"Yes," he answered, simply.

I nodded my head signaling to Rahim that we're going.

"Farina, do you want to follow us?" Rahim asked.

"Where to?" she asked.

"Entertainment room," I responded to her question.

"Sure. I don't want to be left alone," she reasoned.

Rahim and I look at each other. We nodded. I grabbed Farina's hand. She smiled while looking at me. We marched our way together to the entertainment room...
