12 Frozen Qi

It seemed that the barrier had collapsed! With his hand, he had pushed the Qi out of the way! Didn't this mean that he could move the Qi when it was frozen, however he liked?

He decided to test it out later, but for now. He walked up the stairs and on the sixth floor he didn't see anything of interest. He walked back out of the room.

Bai Hei returned to the third floor, and realised that it would be a problem if the crazy woman was naked in the middle of the floor.

He picked her body up and leaned back as he shouted,

"Crazy Woman, one day, you will soar like this to the Heavens!"

He threw her out the window with all his might as he smiled and watched her fly off into the distance. She was a cultivator that surpassed the Body Tempering Realm, she wouldn't die so easily.

He walked away and placed himself so he was a metre behind the old man.

He took a deep breath and resumed time.

Just as the old man was about to lunge forward, he realised that the robed figure was nowhere to be seen!

"Boo!"

From behind him, a voice came out, almost making him jump through the roof from shock. He jumped far away, and stood still for a few moments, unable to react.

"Y-You were able to get behind me? I didn't even see you move!"

Bai Hei just nodded calmly and gave a glance towards the others in the room. The four spectators' hadn't even realised that the woman had disappeared as they were too shocked on what just happened. They didn't even see him move!

Zhao Feiyan and Piggy weren't too shocked as they already knew that Bai Hei was extremely quick. Piggy had 'experienced' it first-hand.

Bai Hei just waved his hand in an impatient manner as he said with his hoarse voice,

"I was only here to see your power, old man. I have no interest in this emporium or whatever."

The old man's eyes widened as he hastily mouthed out some words, transmitting a mental message,

'How do you know that I'm the Patriarch of the Fighting Martial Sect?! Who told you?'

Bai Hei choked on his saliva as a bead of sweat rolled down the side of his face.

'Wh-What? This random old mofo, is the Patriarch of the Fighting Martial Sect?'

Zhao Feiyan and Piggy looked slightly confused at why he was reacting so much, but they just carried on watching silently.

Bai Hei mouthed out a few words, sending a message back,

'Y-Yes. I can't tell you who told me, though. Okay, farewell, then.'

Bai Hei walked towards the door, Zhao Feiyan and Piggy following behind him.

Now they were outside.

They looked at Bai Hei as they both asked simultaneously,

"Why were you so shocked?"

"Th-That old man is the Patriarch of the Fighting Martial Sect!"

They both looked shocked before they look at each other and said laughingly,

"Don't lie, he was so weak!"

Bai Hei smiled wryly at their words. The Patriarch was apparently a seventh-layer Core Expansion cultivator. Right now, Bai Hei just realised that these girls' cultivation must surpass the seventh-layer!

Soon, they had reached their residence. Bai Hei told them as they walked inside,

"I need you to attack me with your Qi. Is that okay?"

They both looked slightly perplexed at the off request but they didn't question it.

In the corridor, Bai Hei stood at one end, while the girls stood at the other end. They both extended one finger out each, pointing towards Bai Hei.

Suddenly, two rays of gleaming purple light formed.

"Chaos Ray!"

In a fraction of a second, the purple light zoomed forward.

And then they froze.

Bai Hei walked towards the two rays of purple light as he inspected them. Cautiously, he extended his hand out and grabbed one of the rays.

Even he was surprised. He could hold the ray in his hand! He could move it however he wanted! It felt solid in his hand, and was cold to the touch. He imagined that it would be warmer if it had the element of fire.

He grabbed the other ray with his free hand.

Now he had two purple rays in his hands, they looked like two sharp, glowing swords.

He walked towards the window and opened it before jumping out. Now on the ground, he looked around and saw the people of the city, frozen. They were all doing their own business, or 'were' doing their own business.

He walked to the middle of the road as he placed the Chaos Rays in mid-air, facing towards the sky.

Leaving the Chaos Rays in mid-air in the middle of the road, he jumped back into the window and stood next to it.

He was going to see how the Qi reacted!

He looked out the window, and with a single thought, time resumed.

Instantly, the two rays of purple light emitted a bright glow that filled up the whole of the street. Everyone looked at the mesmerising light with reverence and amazement.

However, this light only remained for a fraction of a second. This was because, as soon as time had resumed, the rays shot up straight into the sky, flying into the distance until they couldn't be seen anymore.

Bai Hei looked at them excitedly. He now had the basics of how Qi reacted to his power.

'I can mess with the Qi attacks and formations of other however I like when time is stopped!'

In the hallway, Zhao Feiyan and Piggy just looked at each other in bewilderment. They had absolutely zero idea of how Bai Hei was suddenly next to the window and how their attacks had suddenly appeared outside!
