1 Chapter 1 - Happy lunch?

It was History class, the beggining of my untimely misfortune, if only I had focused my eyes on my History teacher. None of this would have happened. I wouldn't have fallen for Felix Cruz. I realized all of that as I was staring right at Felix during class. He sure wasn't handsome. He's not ugly either. He's someone that would easily blend in a crowd. But, despite this, I still like him. I believe that his smartness and intelligence and uh.. just that, already makes up for his average face.

Well, I'm no beauty queen either. In fact, I'm quite ugly. Wait, no. Actually, I think I could pass as a beauty. But you know, who cares? At the sight of me, Felix would immediately furrow his brows. I can't blame him though, for all I do is stare at him, whole day.

At this idea, I laughed to myself. Ever since I liked him, even the smallest things in life can make me happy.

When the school bell rang, I hurriedly went to Lissa. "Let's go!".

I yanked her hand as we went out of our room.

"We're stalking him again?" Lissa said while rolling her eyes. "Hey! I AM NOT STALKING FELIX" Shit. I widened my eyes as everyone around the hallway was looking at me now. "What are you looking at? First time hearing someone shout?" Shouted Lissa to the onlookers.

"No, the new restaurant near our school just opened. I wanted to eat there."

"Oh. I thought we were going Joe Goldberg again." She replied.

"I never stalked him! I was merely adoring art." I said while remembering his face.

"Say that to him." Lissa said, her eyes looking at Felix.

I just brushed it off.

We walked to the restaurant since it was just near the school. When we arrived, all the tables were full. Except for one, we immediately went there and sat.

"The restaurant just opened and its already this bustling." I said.

"Yeah. Let's take a pic!" Lissa replied.

She showed me the picture of us. I widened my eyes and immediately looked back. Apparently, Felix and I are sitting back to back.

"Can we order now? I'm starving."

Lissa said grumpily.

"Huh? Alright." I replied mindlessly.

We called for the waiter and we both ordered Aglio Oglio.

When we were both done eating, we asked for the bill.

"It was always paid, Ma'am." said the waiter.

"By?" I said.

"By that table." He said while pointing at the table where Felix and his friends ate.

"Oh." I said, surprised.

Lissa looked at me suspiciously.

"Do you guys already have a thing?"
