Shuttering of rays, along with the alluring voices of birds, one could imagine the radiant beauty of such a breathtaking scene. It was as though a little heaven on earth, with several immortal fairies and peach flowers surrounding a majestic throne.

Donglin family was one of the greatest Alchemy family almost 700 years ago with a renowned reputation of being able to cure all diseases. And although it sounded exaggerated, one couldn't ignore the fact that this family pulled up several miraculous feat even among the other ten great Alchemy families.

Standing in front of a picture scroll hung onto the wall, Mico as he was often called, couldn't help but imagine how great the figure sitting on the majestic throne was.

The person on this throne was from the Donglin family and had successfully become the head of all Alchemy family through his awe-inspiring achievements even before the age of twenty.

Even though these were historical records of the great Alchemy families, each details were engrained on his brain and Mico only wished he could also be as much a respected medical doctor in the future.

Whenever he stares at the scroll, it was as though the pictures and everything on it were alive - starting from the rays to the alluring voices, they were all his imaginations bringing the contents of the scroll to life.

Noticing he was already late for today's appointed gathering , Mico murmured, "I wonder if I would still be able to make it in time.."

Michael popularly known as Mico during his high school days, had an attributed habit of always being late. Late to eat, late to school, late to sleep.. Don't bother listing because he's late to virtually everything.

He is 17 years old but looked as though he was in his late 30s due to his unkept hair and ruffled expression. Despite his goal to become a respected medical Doctor, he has never for once considered looking youthful but you can't obviously blame him since he was barely even able to eat satisfactorily each day.
