The Perfect Duo

Prince Woon looked around then his gaze stopped at a roll of chains that were near the stairs. It seems that the chain roll was once connected to an inner gate that no longer works now. The chain is used to pull the door and lift it so that the road can be opened.

The prince walked towards the chain roll then held and watched the object closely. He pulled the chain from his roll to find out how long the chain was. The length of the remaining chain turned out to reach about twenty-seven meters. Actually the original length of the chain is much longer than it is now. But the chain has been broken. Some parts of the chain appeared to be around the door and hanging from the ceiling.

Woon pulled the chain firmly from its scroll using his left hand then swung his sword powerfully using his right hand to break the chain from the scroll. He had to use a fast and extremely powerful sword swing so that the chain he was holding could break the chain perfectly.

" Attach this chain to your arrow, then shoot the metal at the top of the tower. Let's use this chain to climb the tower," Woon said, giving Dan Oh the chain he held.

The girl obeyed the prince's words and then shoot her arrow to the top of the tower. Since joining and fighting in the consecutive battles using her arrows, now Dan Oh has been able to master the archery techniques well. Although the tower was very tall and it was very difficult to shoot to the top, Dan Oh was able to do so now.

After the arrow was perfectly stuck on the top, Woon held the chain again and pulled it firmly. The man made sure that Dan Oh's arrow had stuck perfectly and made the chain into a strong rope for them to climb and was able to withstand the weight of both of them.

"Come on!" said Woon asking Dan Oh to climb the chain together with him.

The end of the chain is about two meters from the bottom of the floor. Woon who has a tall body does not find it difficult to hold the chain and immediately climb it. The man set his foot on the wall of the tower and gave a chain underneath to Dan Oh to catch up with him.

But this becomes a ceritain challenge for Dan Oh who has a small body. The girl knew that she would have trouble grabbing on that high chain, but her pride forbade her from admitting it. She tried to jump highly in order to reach for the chain. But no matter how high her jump is, her short body will not be able to reach the chain.

Woon also realizes that the girl is struggling with the chain height now, but he chooses to wait a while to see her decision. Dan Oh blow her bang annoyingly then walks backwards while forming her stances. She then ran fastly from a considerable distance and jumped as high as she could afford. But still, she wasn't able to reach for the chain ever again.

"Pfft..." the prince couldn't help but laugh at the girl's silliness. His response invited a sharp glance from Dan Oh's eyes. The girl looked at Woon with annoyance and in such frightening gazes.

Woon smiled on her facial expression, he finally jumped out of his position and walked towards Dan Oh. The prince easily lifts Dan Oh's body and helps the girl to be able to reach for the chain. The girl didn't give any response or thanks Woon. She's still upset. Dan Oh climbs up the tower carefully then is followed by Woon below.

Slowly and carefully, the two climbed the tower while set on their feet on the wall. Finally they reached the top of the tower and were able to feel the wind that was strongly hit their bodies. Well, being at the height of such towers did make the air pressure around them even greater. Dan Oh had to tidy up her hair that fell onto her face because of the strong wind.

Prince Woon walked to the center of the tower then held the iron he stepped on to check its thickness. He closed his eyes and looked inside the tower with his mind to determine the position he had to destroy precisely in order to be able to destroy this tower in a single strike.

"Dan Oh.... Could you make a big pointed chunk of ice right here?" asked Woon to Dan Oh. The girl was silent to hear the question while tilting her head to find the right answer.

"You do ceritainly know... I've never done anything like that before..." Dan Oh said with a great doubt. Joining this entourage and receiving the Prince's demands make the Earth girl had to be able on quickly developing her abilities that she would never thoughts she had before.

" Just try it for now, we would never know before we even try it right?" said Woon trying to convince Dan Oh. Well, they did have no other way but to try everything even though it seemed impossible to destroy this tower.

"What if it doesn't work?" asked Dan Oh anxiously. She didn't want to disappoint her comrades, yet she wasn't sure about her strength yet.

Woon smiled and walked up to the girl. He gently held Dan Oh's shoulder and looked at her seriously. His eyes seemed so convincing.

"I believe that you are capable of doing it," said the prince giving encouragement with a smile and sweet sentences.

Dan Oh has a long sigh, she had no other choice. They can't just walk away without working on anything now. The girl began to close her eyes and raised both of her hands on the air. She pointed her palm forward and focused her concentration on the place Woon had shown before.

The girl was able to feel her blood flow that felt different. The cold air around her felt as if it had entered her blood and led to the focus of her palm. Just then, from Dan Oh's both palms began to appear a billowing smoke that felt so cold. Slowly but surely a chunk of ice began to appear near Woon's feet which was currently standing back at the center of the tower's top.

The prince slightly shifted his legs while walking backwards. The smoke coming out of Dan Oh's hands gathered somewhere right at the center of the tower's top. A few moments later the small chunk of ice that appeared slowly began to enlarge and form a large ball of ice that was twice the diameter of Woon's body height. After being convinced that Dan Oh had taken out her strength, the girl slowly opened her eyes again.

"It's not shape-pointed," said Dan Oh when she saw a giant ball of ice that appeared in front of her. She seemed disappointed to witness her work that did not match the expectations she thought.

"No problem," said the prince lightly.

Woon took both of his swords from its sheath then moved both of his hands to form a "V" with the swing of his sword. The chunk of ice ball created by Dan Oh splits on its two side and forms a large, sturdy and cold inverted cone. Dan Oh just stared at the prince silently while Woon raised both of his eyebrows and shoulders while smiling at her.

"I've ruined your masterpiece" Woon said lightly to the girl. Dan Oh was only able to respond to the Prince's words with a smile on her face.

Prince Woon then heathed his sword into his sheath back then took the two gloved swords from his back. He lifted the two swords highly on the air and at that very moment he jumped as high as he could. His jump made Woon fly through the air as high as the ice height. Woon struck his two gloved swords on top of the chunk of ice with all his might from above the air.

"Kretek kretek" the sound of metal that Woon had struck started to crack. The entire tower slowly began to shaking hardly.

"Blessss" the giant ice cone that had been struck by Prince Woon began to sink into the metal top of the tower which then the appearence of a long metal crack from the center of the peak. The crack quickly propagated in all directions all the way to the bottom of the tower.

Woon immediately pulls Dan Oh's hand then invites the girl to stand on a chunk of ice that now only visible on its top. At that time the ice cone puts a stronger pressure on the metal below. The chunk of ice slid down quickly while Dan Oh and Woon stood on it. That caused the metal that built the tower to shattered and fall down along with the sliding chunks of huge cone ice.

The prince and the descendants of Yeon's kingdom felt a great vibration as the chunk of ice continued to slide and destroy the tower from its peak towards the center of the crystal container he was targeted for. During that time Woon clasped Dan Oh's hand tightly as well as the girl. They put their feet on alert to deal with the imminent blow that would soon happen.

"jump!!" said Woon pulling Dan Oh off the ice and jumping away just as the ice was about to hit the base and smash the crystal container underneath.

"Deemm!!!" A loud noise appeared and filled the entire palace as the ice cone hit the base and brought down the tower and its contents. Woon and Dan Oh landed not far from where the tower was destroyed. The prince walked over and saw that the crystal container had been smashed into pieces among the ruins of the tower and chunks of ice that had broken into small pieces.

"the tower!!" said one of Cheol's monsters in a panic near the gate when he saw the black tower no longer seen as standing up.

Dan Oh runs towards Woon to ensure the destruction of the crystal container. She smiled happily when she saw that they had successfully completed their first mission

"Waaaah! We made it!!" said Dan Oh cheerfully claping her hands. Dan Oh smiles at Woon and looks at the prince with a twinkle-filled currency stare shining inside her eyes.

The look of her eyes seemed so lively and enchanting. The princess of Yeon's Kingdom's descendants looked so beautiful and glowed with the wide eyes and smile she has. Her happy expression enchanted the prince who was standing right before her. The man was so willing to gently hold the girl's face and close the distance between them.

Woon's eyes focused and stared at Dan Oh with a great tenderness. Without even realizing it, the prince had raised both of his hands and almost grabbed Dan Oh's head. He almost cupped his hands on the girl's soft cheeks, but before that happened Woon had returned in his consciousness. He immediately took control of his hand and immediately switched to gently holding both of Dan Oh's shoulder.

"You're so amazing," praised Woon in such a soft tone of voice.

Dan Oh's heart pounded loudly at how Woon treated her with his tenderness. The girl repeatedly blinked her eyes then lowered her face. She really thought that Woon was going to kiss her earlier. But she was wrong and that's was embarrassed. She smoothed her hair behind her ears with both of her index fingers.
