The Kind Werewolf

"I don't understand why you took the boy with you to the palace, but I believe in your decision. But be sure to not reveal your true identity in front of others. It can be really dangerous," the king warned his daughter. Siera nod steadily and understood what her father meant very well.

"And you...." The king looked towards Gwi.

"Gwi," said the young man introducing himself briefly.

"Gwi... Thank you for protecting my daughter, please take care of her in the future as well..." The king said friendly and welcomed Gwi's presence to stay in his palace.

The werewolf was unable to trust his eyes and ears. He guesses he'll soon be evicted when the king learns of his true identity which is usually considered as a monster to others. But the king welcomed him kindly. Gwi was unable to hide his smile. This is the first time anyone has accepted him and his true identity.

He was very happy and feel grateful. He looked towards Siera and the little girl showed her sweet small smile to the werewolf. From then on Gwi swore that he would be loyal to the kingdom of Hwon and protect the members of Hwon kingdom especially Siera with all of his energy and life.

Ever since Gwi lived in the palace, he had never been separated from the princess. Siera invites Gwi to jointly learn martial techniques from the best teachers in the kingdom. That's where he meets Key who is a noble girl and the princess' close friend. The three grew up together and trained diligently to become a stranger individual.

Gwi follows Siera wherever she goes, the princess always spends her time to developing her abilities. She always took the time to learn everything a king needed to lead his kingdom. Siera is also very active in practicing martial arts, sword arts and archery techniques. One day Siera had practiced her archery late at the night. She didn't even realize that her little fingers had been injured due to the intens friction of the skin on her hand which received by an arrow sliding from her bow.

"Princess, what are you doing?! Please take a rest!" said Gwi frantically and immediately pulled Siera's hand when he realized that the little girl had injured her own fingers.

Gwi immediately took the bow and arrow from Siera's hand and placed it down. He then examined the wound on the princess' fingers and asked the palace maid to immediately bring medicine for the princess.

"Princess Siera. You are already very talented and strong. But why do you still keep pushing yourself and trying so hard like this?" asked Gwi while treating the wound on the princess' hand. Siera smiled wryly listening to the werewolf's words.

" in order to be a great leader you have to be superior and stronger in everything than everyone else, that's why I always try to be an expert at everything to prove that I deserve to be a leader not just because of my bloodline... "Siera explained to her loyal guard.

" Do you know, most of people often demean women just because we're women. They think that a woman will never be superior to a man. I want to prove that thought was wrong," Siera added later. Gwi was silent for a moment and tried to digest the princess' word.

"Since I was born I was trained to grow up to be a leader and prepared to lead this country, I have spent my whole life proving that I am worthy to lead the kingdom even though I was only born as a woman. But I wasn't destined to inherit the power of the fire crystal and it made everyone look down at me. Things got worse after the news of my mother's pregnancy" The little girl's grunt and showed her annoyance and hatred towards those who denigrated her abilities as a woman.

"You don't want to have a little sibling?" asked Gwi carefully.

"Right, not at all, I hate the child that will be born as my sibling. Because of him, everyone is going to recognize his leadership more than I do. The baby wasn't even born yet, just because they suspected that a baby boy was going to be born, they thought the boy was more deserving of leading them than I was. They don't even know yet if the boy is capable of defeating my abilities. There was no certainty that he would be born as a male or a female. What a fool," Siera said, showing her hatred. The gaze of her eyes seemed so cold and sharp.

Gwi was just silent to hear the little girl's words in front of him. Since their first meeting, Gwi already knew that the girl was emitting some fierce aura and looked very different from normal little girls in general. She exuded incredible tenacity and strength as a little girl on her age. But Gwi did not expect that the little girl had certain ambitions to rule the kingdom. He also did not expect that the little girl had harbored hatred for the future baby who would become her sibling.

Honestly, the ambition that was clearly visible in Siera's eyes made the werewolf cringe. He has witnessed the brutality of a voracious human being who wants the power in his life and is trying to get their dream in any possible way even though it is very cruel and terrifying. Gwi was worried that Siera would grow into such a human being. But Gwi has decided to serve her and be loyal to the little girl who saved his life.

Gwi believes that there is a side of tenderness in Siera's heart that will protect her from growing into a wicked human being. Although Siera looks terrible and cruel from the outside, Gwi is able to feel it. The girl had a heart and sincerity hidden in her heart. And he wouldn't be able to turn his back away from the princess.

The birth day of the prince Hwon has finally arrived. When the Queen asked Siera to hold her baby brother, Gwi was able to see the two sibling from the outside through the opened window of the queen's room. He witnessed the change in Siera's expression and gestures of her body.

The little girl who looked cold and stiff for the first time showed her sincerity and tender love when hugging the tiny baby in her arms. For the first time Gwi saw a sincere smile that was beautifully engraved on her lips. Gwi felt warmth fill the entire contents of his chest. He was grateful, Siera indeed had a gentle heart and a sincere love.

The princess always accompanies the little baby Woon wherever he goes. She trains Woon with all the skills she has in order for him to grow into a competent king to lead the kingdom of Hwon in the future. One day when Woon began to learn to run and tell some stories, Siera invited Woon to visit the stables.

She wants to introduce Woon to the animal so that he has equestrian skills from his early age. But little baby Woon was terrified when he saw a baby horse which is taller than him. The prince began to cry and tightly hugged his sister's leg so she would stop to tell him to touch the animal which he thought was very scary.

"Come on Woon. You are a man and a future leader of this country. Don't be afraid! You have to show everyone that you deserve them to respect you!" said Siera to the crying and thrashing little baby at her feet. Woon didn't listen to his sister's scolding and kept hugging his older sister's legs tightly while crying loudly.

" Your majesty... Come on, don't be too harsh on prince Woon. He's still a baby... After all, he doesn't need to understand everything about being such a leader for now." said Gwi trying to convince Siera because he couldn't bear to see the little baby crying in fear.

" Gwi! Don't underestimate a little baby. They are a genius beings who are able to remember and understand the things he hears and sees very quickly!" of course the intelligent and stubborn princess would not be willing to budge with her bodyguards. Gwi let out a long sigh then walked over and crouched down in front of Woon.

" Little prince... Are you afraid? Relax, your sister will protect you. You don't have to cry anymore..." Gwi stroke the frightened little Woon's hair tenderly. Accepting Gwi's gentle behavior, Woon began to calm down a little though he still stifled his tears.

Do you want to be carried by this servant?" Gwi asked softly to recognised that Woon seemed to want to extend his hand. The little baby nodded softly then reach out his hands at the werewolf. Gwi easily carried the little creature and took him around to introduce him to some of the horses in the stable.

"Do you want to try to ride it?" asked Gwi when he saw Woon start to get comfortable with the animals. Gwi rides a horse and puts little Woon in front of his feet so the two of them can ride the horse together. Woon who had been crying in fear when he saw the horse now even laughed happily while riding it.

Siera shook her head when she saw the change in attitude of her little brother. The creatures named babies are able to change their attitudes quickly when facing the same situation. But Siera couldn't help but smile when she saw her brother looking happy.

Time has passed, the two sibling grew up together and became very familiar to each other. Since childhood Woon has received a lot of training from Siera. The sister had found the best teacher for her brother to study all variety fields. One of the best teachers Siera appointed to accompany Woon to practice martial arts is Gwi, who has shown such incredible abilities that the man has become the strongest commander in Hwon Kingdom.

Woon who is then became a good friends with Ryu, the noble boy always trains together and becomes the best disciple of the werewolf. When the study time comes Siera will be the second teacher for them. Meanwhile, Key who is the strongest female commander also became one of the two boys' teacher in martial art.

Ryu and Woon have a very different personalities. Woon is very serious and enterprising, while Ryu likes to play around and often falls asleep when receiving material from his teachers. Ryu often receives Key's scolding who feels that the boy is very difficult to be organized . Not only from Key, Ryu also very often receives reprimands from Gwi.

The boy was very nosy and couldn't be serious at all, Gwi had to give Ryu's punishment several times in order for him to be able to take his lessons seriously. Nevertheless, although Ryu has a very nosy nature and is the opposite of the prince, the two are able to become close friends.

They all passed the times together until they grew up into adults. Siera and Key have become beautiful adult women, while Gwi becomes a handsome commander who is idolized by both men and women because of his charisma. But through the long time there is no one who is aware of the commander-in-chief's true identity, no one knows that he was actually a werewolf except his close and trusted people.

One day Siera was accompanied by Gwi to walk to the city to buy some objects that had been ordered by the princess from a famous merchant. Siera is indeed happy to routinely visit the city to see people's lives more closely. The princess and her commander walked down the market and enjoyed the journey together.

Suddenly there was a large pile of wood on the side of the road that was about to fall because it lost its balance. Under the pile log there was a little boy who was playing alone. All the residents who saw that the wood was about to hit the little boy's body shouted hysterically. Siera was about to run to save the boy but Gwi was faster than her. Instantly Gwi hugged the little boy's body tightly and protected him with his stocky body.

"Bruaaaakkk!!!" the wood hit Gwi's body hardly and hit his head and body firmly.
