Journey to The North

On the other hand, after the wedding party was over, Woon had left his palace to the north by riding his white horse without any escort from anyone. He wanted to truly enjoy his journey alone without any distractions, that was something he had wanted for a long time ago. Woon spent fourteen days traveling overland from the Hwon kingdom to the northern part of the planet. He passed day and night on his journey with some provisions he had brought from Hwon's palace. After arriving at the North Sea, Woon immediately received a welcome from the guardian dragon he had not seen for a long time. The dragon gave Woon a ride to Elmo's cave in the middle of the invisible ocean.

"Welcome King Hwon, long time no see..." Elmo greeted Woon who came to visit him. At that time the oldest creature in the Mirac seemed to be enjoying his time while brewing a few drinks. Elmo provides a typical wine drink of the northern kingdom of Yeon, the wine can warm the body but it is not intoxicating.

"You haven't changed at all since the last time we met, even though so many time has passed," said Elmo, observing Woon's physique from head to toe, who still looked young and didn't change at all.

There are no significant changes in Woon's physical body and face. Even though he is now almost two hundred years old, his physique still looks like that of a man in his thirties. The inhabitants of the planet Mirac did have an average lifespan of around five hundred to six hundred years. Their physical appearance would remain youthful until they reached the age of three hundred years of Mirac's reckoning.

"Cchhh... You are not the want to talk here. You say that even though you are the oldest creature on this planet but your appearance and face are still the same too" said Woon laughing lightly in response to the words he heard from Elmo.

Elmo is a special descendant of the Mirac people who can live for several generations in one count of his life. In every some generations, on the planet Mirac will appear a special breed that has a very long life time compared to the Mirac population in general. Elmo himself is a descendant of the third generation. These descendants are not bound by the lineage of a particular nation, they can emerge from any nation on the Mirac planet. Their very long life makes these descendants have a million of life experiences and become wise with knowledge that is not shared by others.

"Hahaha you're right... What brought you here this time King Hwon? " Elmo said with a short laugh at Woon's words. Woon immediately reached into his pants pocket and took out Dan Oh's cellphone which he never left wherever he went.

"a thing that belong to Princess Yeon?" Elmo asked curiously, try to make a guessing. Woon just nodded while looking straightly at Elmo.

"What I want to ask is... Why didn't this thing disappear with her? Does that mean there is still a link between our world and her dimension world even though the elemental crystal has been destroyed?" Woon asked curiously. The man didn't try to hide his enthusiasm when he mentioned the possibility of a dimensional connection between Earth and Mirac which not being destroyed. Elmo smiled understandingly at the king's question.

"Actually what made Princess Yeon come to this planet was not because of the second crystal she found." Elmo said in response, Woon didn't seem to can understand the man's statement.

"Are you talking about the link between these two dimensions? The link is the princess herself, she has the blood of the royal blood of Yeon and the blood of the descendants of the Earth. That is the link between our two dimensions," Elmo continued.

"Then why did she suddenly disappear when the crystals shattered back then?" asked Woon who had not been able to understand everything.

"She brought her destiny here, the fate to beat Binju with you, when that fate has been completed she will come back" said Elmo to the king.

There was a situation between the Mirac dimension and the Earth dimension that could make the connecting door between the two opened. This situation is when the moon that surrounds the planet Mirac and Earth is in a parallel state. When the parallel position of the two moons occurs, the door between the two dimensions will be open, as if there is a connecting thread between those two planet.

This state is only occured when the moon on the planet Mirac is at a position of seventy percent farther than usual while the position of the moon on Earth reaches its closest point of the distance from Earth at it certain point. This can only happen in a fraction of a second because the time between the two dimensions is different from each other. Because the speed of motion of the moon around the two planets is different from the speed of motion of other moons. Such a state would only be achieved in the span of sixty-four years in Mirac's calculations. The connecting door between these two dimensions will continue to be open in that state as long as there is a link between these two dimensions.

"So do you mean, there's a chance that the two of us could meet again?" Woon asked Elmo after listening to all the explanations of the oldest creature on the planet.

"Why? Do you miss her so bad, don't you?" Elmo teased the Hwon king. Woon was a little embarrassed when he heard Elmo's question, with a reflex move he immediately touched his forehead with his right hand and hid a part of his face.

"If you see her again, please convey my regards to her. The door will be open on the date of twenty fourth of this month. You can find it where you first met her." Elmo said to Woon.

"The 24th? You mean ten days from now? I have to return to south within ten fingers?" asked Woon not believing what he just heard. He even knew clearly that it took him fourteen days to come here from the south.

"Well.. That's your only chance, if you can't find the door that appears in just ten seconds, then you have to wait for another 64 years?" said Elmo seriously. Actually, Elmo himself doesn't know for sure about the certainty of this calculation.

Woon doesn't need to waste his time to think about it over again, He immediately rose from his seat and summoned the dragon that brought him to Elmo's cave. Woon quickly jumped on the dragon and rode his back to quickly return to the shore and find his horse.

"Thank you so much Elmo!" Woon shouted from a distance on the dragon's back. Elmo just smiled broadly at Woon's behavior, which no longer showed his calm side as Hwon's king as usual. Woon showed a different side that Elmo had not seen before.

1 1 year later on Earth .....

The clock shows 15:00 at South Korean time. There was a book review conference held in the lobby of a publishing company. There were many chairs neatly arranged in the room, the number reached eighty chairs. All the seats in that place had been filled by several fans of fantasy books as well as several journalists who asked some questions to the author who was the main speaker for that day's event. It was the first time that a book review event for a fantasy romance novel entitled "Mirac Planet" was held. The novel was very popular and had reached its third printing which has sold more than a thousand copies.

Dan Oh seems to be sitting in front of her reader fans while answering several questions about the contents of the book and how she feels when she gets a high appreciation from the public for her fantasy novels. The young woman seemed to be sitting in a place which is not far from the guests and only bordered by a long table in front of her. The book review event was followed by an autograph event for fans and only ended after an hour had passed.

"Dan Oh-ssi.... There's someone who is looking for you..." said a woman at her age as soon as the day's event has ended. She is a special staff of the publishing company where Dan Oh joined.

"who?" asked Dan Oh curiously.

"A handsome man..." said the staff, pointing at a man who was standing in the middle of the lobby and looking at Dan Oh. The woman turned around and immediately showed a big smile when she saw the man who was waiting for her.
