21 We're running!

"He's planning to change his entire look as well." Jimmy replied.

"What? Why?" Piers asked.

"Because he felt like it." He replied.

"But that look is iconic!" Piers shouted.

"Well, you don't have to worry about that. I've seen people write Santa romance fanfics since it's Christmas and I'm pretty fit in those. So, yea. People believe that I have a chiseled look as well." Santa spoke in a proud tone.

"But-" Piers wanted to say something, but it seemed as if words weren't coming out of his mouth.

"See? What did I say? The kid's shocked again." Jimmy shrugged.

"Well, that might be because he's imagining how awesome I'll look if I had a pretty fit body." Santa said.

"You're gonna ruin a lot of kids' lives, aren't you?" Piers spoke in a serious tone.

"What? How come me being fit ruins kids' lives?" He asked.

"Your appearance is extremely kid friendly. I mean, who doesn't like a fluffy looking person like you? But what happens when you become a chiseled brute looking person? Those kids would be afraid of you. Husbands would worry seeing a strange man cozying up under their Christmas tree." Piers spoke.

"What are you even talking about?" Santa was confused by several things that Piers said.

"Hmm, how shall I explain? Santa, the current you is like the friend that a girl has that the boyfriend doesn't have to worry about. If you got all fit, you'll be like the one that the girl asks the boyfriend not to worry about, but has to actually worry about." Piers explained.

Jimmy laughed hysterically. "My goodness. I can't believe it. One of the strangest analogies I've heard someone say to a guy who's trying to get fit!" He continued laughing after saying that.

"Yea, it's kinda weird." Santa agreed with Jimmy on that.

"It might be. But that's the truth. Do you think that the kids would like the guy who seduces their moms?" Piers asked.

"But I have no plan in doing that though!" Santa spoke. "And, it's not like anyone has seen me for this entire time! So, even if I ended up with six pack abs and stuff, no one's gonna notice that and I'll continue being this guy in all of their minds." Santa explained.

"Wait a minute. That doesn't make any sense!" Jimmy interrupted.

"What doesn't?"

"Well, if no one has met you all this time, how did they draw such an accurate description?" He asked.

"Hmm, you see, it's not that they drew an accurate drawing of me. Rather, it's the vice versa." Santa said with a smile on his face.

"You deliberately became like the one in the picture?" Jimmy asked, to which Santa nodded his head.

"My goodness! Why would you even do something like that?" Jimmy asked.

"Well, God forced me to do so! He said that if I don't match the description, he'll throw me off my mythical being status and replace me with another Santa who's willing to gain weight." He said while pouting intensely.

"Then won't throw you out now if you don't follow it?" Piers asked.

"Ah, don't worry about that. I've got leverage on God. He'll allow it the way I want with no worries." Santa assured.

"What's the leverage? I would like to get one on God as well." Jimmy asked in the most polite voice that he could.

"Hehe, as if I'm gonna tell you about that. That's my master leverage, you know? If you want a leverage over God, better find one yourself, rather than relying on someone else." Santa replied.

"Well, it's not like I can meet God, right? The only one I can meet is you. So, you're the one who's supposed to help me in such a situation." Jimmy spoke.

"What situation? It's not like you got anything to talk with God! And you are gonna meet him someday, so just chill." He replied.

"Wait right there! I'm gonna meet God? When? How? Why did I not know about this?" Jimmy asked.

"Oh, but I thought you knew about it." Santa spoke.

"No, I didn't. So, when am I gonna meet the big guy?" Jimmy asked.

"After you die and it's time for judging your sins, you'll meet God then." Santa replied with a smirk in his face.

Jimmy sighed. "Good joke, old man. Good freaking joke!" He spoke.

"But, I wasn't kidding though!" The smirk soon changed into an innocent one as he said that.

"Stop! You know exactly what I was talking about. So, don't you dare!" Jimmy replied.

"Okay, cool. I did know what you meant. And the answer would be…. Maybe." Santa replied.

"Maybe?"

"Yea, maybe. I can't promise anything. But, as long as you follow the path of righteousness from now on, you'll be able to meet him even before your death. And that's a promise." Santa assured.

"Hmm, do tell me about your leverage then." Jimmy replied with a smirk on his face.

"So, you're really gonna change yourself, huh?" Piers asked. The disappointment in his voice was apparent to anyone who heard it.

"As much as I would like to keep your hopes up, I can't with this. I've already planned to do it. So… Sorry." Santa spoke.

"Hey! Why are you apologizing? It's me who's acting all selfish. I'm the one who should apologize instead of you. Sorry for acting like this." Piers bowed his head in an apologetic manner.

"Yea, apology accepted. It wasn't that big of a deal anyway!" Santa chuckled.

"So, I believe you two were doing some sort of exercise in the morning, which made Jimmy late, right?" Piers asked.

"Correct." Jimmy nodded his head to that.

"Hmm, maybe you should do it a notch down… At least, don't do it in a way that you get to your work late." Piers suggested.

"We'll think about it." Jimmy replied.

"So, what are we doing here right now? Shall we go back to our home?" Piers asked.

"Ah, we didn't tell you, huh? We're going on a run. Care to join us?" Jimmy asked.
