8 Chapter:8- Other Sides Of Stories.

(Jasmine POV)

"Jasmine here, take it and get to the table no.7"

"ok"

"Yes sir, here is your meal."

"Thank you."

"Clean the table no.4."

"Coming."

ah, so much busy day. this is the day of the week, probably the time too, which I consider as the most occupied session for me. today is the day when I need to fulfil the shortage of staff. we generally have enough staff to handle our customer on all other days, it provides us with better stability of labour. but, unlike today, the manpower of the staff wasn't enough, due to the special discount on our menu, and a special menu, specially made on this day of the week. as a result, the avg. costumer we receive each day has multiplied by 3 times. I couldn't complain about it, it's my life. and if I don't work how can I pay my tuition and living expense. you might be thinking I get exhausted here then why don't I search for a new job. right? because it pays me well and a little higher than the other part-time jobs😅. so I stayed here.

"Jasmine, Take the order at the table no.8."

"yup, now go to work😤."

I need to quickly take the order and serve food to the customers. probably I'm not quite good as handling all those by myself but, I can manage. still, much for me. but you don't have to take tension about it. I have a little bit of hope to get out of this situation.

actually, I have some work outside the restaurant today, which is really not work, but a saver of my butt, it not much just some shot of assignment of the institution.

when I asked my manager for early leave I thought she will neglect my request for sure. but luckily she agreed easily. I never thought of her like this. she is the one person not to mess with but how can it's even possible for her to have this mercy to me today. I don't have any idea. but whatever. I shall go now.

things didn't seem to look pretty easy, right? you might guess it.

"wait, Jasmine could you please receive the parcel from the other street from a building."

what? are you kidding me I already have mentioned, I need to go rapidly today I have work to do.

"Manager, I am in a hurry. I can't."

"Oh! Come on it will not take much time. it just 4 blocks away from this restaurant. you can go and come in no time."

what should I do? she is my payer. I should listen to her otherwise I will have problems in future.😓

"Fine, I will take that."

"Here, take my scooter."

she offers her scooter to me and asked me to leave quickly.

so this was the reason for letting me go early today😑. so selfish she is. (huff) ah! never mind. I couldn't do anything better, instead of following her order.

I quickly gab the helmet and ran to the parcel. was quite comfortable while riding the scooter. Vespa in yellow colour suits me well. this was one of the reasons to accept the request made by the restaurant manager.

then why the hell this song playing out of nowhere feels me so heartbroken?😑

might be the lyrics I listen to is too pure and emotional that makes me feel like hurt. I appreciate this art made my the singer Camila Cabello. the one song made by her question her lover about her fault. that her lover betrayed her. ah! such a hurtful song but at the same time, pure art. I was at the shopping centre when this song was played all over the market radio. I was there for having some night time snacks and Grocers for myself. I really have hunger issues at night sometimes. sometimes it grows that much I need to eat something quick otherwise I will become a zombie for sure.

"So, chips, noodles, mango and orange juice, chocolate, some biscuit, ice cream and milk."

this is just enough for me to eat for several days. I should go home quick. but, before that, I need to pay for the item I have taken.

"Sir, would you like to pay with card or cash?"

"I'll pay with a card."

I took out my card from my pocket and developer to her for payment

"Here the card"

wait, did I forget something? remember, remember. ya, I need to buy flour and rice too. I asked her to wait.

"Wait, I need to add things. where are the rice and flour?"

"just behind your back sir take them from there."

"I'll just come."

I make myself go there and picked up the items that I left.

Jasmine was standing inside the parking lot of the building. the parking lot was under the main building.

"Listen, Jasmine, it's a special packet, you go inside the main building parking area. the delivery came there by the staffs of the building. you don't need to go anywhere in search of that. ok, stay there. I have already called him you will receive the packet. once you will there make a call to me so I can inform him to go to you."

the manager said those words. so she was waiting over there for the delivery. and at the same time, Eric was out shopping for his needs. the earthquake came at the time when eric was taking out the flour. and Jasmine, she was standing inside the building's parking area.

when the earthquake came, Eric got smashed under the flour packets and grocery and the grocery shop get devastated due to the impact made by the earthquake.

on the other hand, Jasmine feels the vibration on the floor she quickly take cover head and run the to outside. but unfortunately, the main lane got blocked and the lane got broken. and now she got trapped inside.
