"Hmm.... You all are... pathetically weak!"

Harsh piercing wind scathed by as they tormented the barren landscape of red sands and ashen skies. These sands were originally golden and dry but with all the mountains of strewn corpses of living beings, it was tinted with misty red and scrapes of flesh and bone.

Once, a ferocious human that conquered these fiery domains, now, it laid on the ground, miserable and defeated, as it was gasping for breath and oozing wine colored life- Gerald 'The hunter Lord'.

Standing atop of this miserable human was a single man, who had a robust body with enough muscles to look down upon a bear. What was the most amusing was not his rugged body, but a pointed projection on his head, that looked sharp enough to pierce steels. He had two majestic horns on his forehead, pointing upwards, as if trying to pierce the sky itself....

"Fiend !"

Came roaring an echo below his feet. Tilting his head to glimpse at him, he was met with a fiery anger mixed with sorrow and weakness. A weakness that came after being stepped upon.

Seeing the pitiful human, the corners of his mouth curled up. He focused his gaze and peered directly in his eyes.

"Fiend? Although, I may look like that in humans eyes... I must correct that term slightly... I believe- I am a survivor, a killer, a thing that preys, living on the things that live, unaided, alone, by virtue of my own strength and prowess, surviving triumphantly in this miserable world where only the strong survive.... A Fiend indeed but only in the eyes of weaklings..."

He lifted his right foot up and slowly pressed it against the hunters head. Scrunching and sqwashing sound came filled with muffled echos of misery, but the figure didn't even blink an eye, as if, it was a common occurrence to him.

"Mmmmmm the fresh air.... Finally after millenniums of being captive in that disgusting maze, I AM FREE!!!. Hahahahaha old fool Minos must have already died, or I would have teared him apart and drank his blood for imprisoning me in that maze."

Spreading his arms and closing his eyes, he started to laugh filled with the happiness of being freed from the constraints.

"Hmpph. Minos that old fool should have already died ages ago or I would have teared him apart for imprisoning me in that maze. 'This minotaur should be kept here in this maze for all eternity, to prevent disaster upon all beings' ? Hmph those were the same words you used right? Since I don't have a name, I shall take upon yours! From now on I am Minos and in your name I shall fulfill your fear and bring forth all the misfortune that you prevented and planned so much for."

Clenching his fist so much that it was making creaking sound, Minos took an oath to bring forth the fears that the old fool never wished for.

Then he looked around, seeing all the mounds of flesh and blood, he smirked and started to move eastwards.

East, from the colossal maze, that was also named as the 'Minos Labyrinth', which was filled with countless number of powerful beings, deathly traps and mazes. This labyrinth was rumored to be created by the godly hands of 'Minos', with the sole purpose of restraining a cataclysmic being.

This maze also held unimaginable wealth, hence, the greedy humans. These humans came in numbers and with different professions. Some looked like hunters, some magician and others were just here to try their luck; taking the leftover of crumbs of bread.

The maze had the highest mortality rate around that region. They could only take their weak selves to two floors and so on, until they encounter some traps and luckily survive or powerful monsters; eradicating them, then and there.

Just like any other day, these humans came to try their luck.... only to find that, their luck had no meaning against a mysterious being who came out of the maze like it's his own turf and started to massacre them all.

And nobody knew that the same being... was the sole purpose for the emergence of that maze.

Just to hold him down....

Just to keep the pandora's box sealed....

And just to prevent decimation of countless number of beings..

Because he is the Minotaur, the final boss of the 'Minos Labyrinth' housing hundreds of floors...
