{The Situation}

"It's kinda getting out of control here," Hedwig said, struggling to dodge the pillager arrows, the attacking royal guards, and the wraith's fire at the same time. "I'll shield you from the arrows while you focus on killing the bad guys."

Hedwig turned towards the voice and saw Hex placing down a totem of shielding next to her, which made a dome-shaped, see-through, and yellow shield around those two heroes. It only blocked out projectiles though, not mobs, so they had to stay inside the shield while shooting them, or attack using melee combat if any mobs got inside.

"Thanks," Hedwig said, "I really needed it."

"No problem," replied Hex, smiling.

All went well, but soon, the shield started to weaken. But there were still many pillagers out there left that they didn't kill.

"The shield has a 20-second cooldown," Hex said. "You're going to be dodging arrows for the time being. I'll go and find Ghost now," with that, he went away.

"Alright," Hedwig said, going to a little corner where to mobs couldn't get her. Ok Hedwig, she thought to herself, you can manage without the shield, you've done this lots of times before, you've got this.

After reassuring herself, she got out of her little corner and went her separate way.

After killing some mobs, Hedwig noticed that her health was low, really low. She looked at her belt and saw that her health potion hadn't cooled down yet.

Two more hits and I'll be dead, she thought, better make my way to Valorie, she could heal me. And with that, she started to search for Valorie.

While searching, she felt a twinge of pain in her left arm. She looked down and saw an arrow stuck in her left arm.

Must have been a pillager, good thing I had this armor, so it didn't hurt as much, Hedwig thought in relief.

Then she heard a loud "clunk." Her armor was broken.

"Aw come on!" She shouted.

While Hedwig was distracted, a vindicator took this chance to hit her with its axe.

"Hedwig, watch out!" Valorie shouted.

Hedwig turned around to defend herself, but it was too late, she fell unconscious...
