12 {Busy fighting mobs and...oh no}

"Ugh, he got away!" Valorie yelled angrily while shooting down wraiths, making sure to keep a distance from them.

The others were also busy fighting the attacking mobs, but they were quite shocked when Valorie lost her temper. Valorie, the leader of the group, was always calm and rarely got enraged, but they were too busy to think about it any further.

None of the warriors talked much,(Who talks during battles anyway?) but one hero did, and that hero would be the one and only...

Hex!

Hex wanted to try chatting with a random pillager that he spotted, but the pillager didn't seem very interested in talking, it only wanted to kill Hex. (Maybe the pillager finds Hex's talking annoying?)

"Hey there man! How's it going?" Hex asked, waving to a pillager. the pillager just responded with a "Har," (That's the sound a pillager makes.) and got its crossbow ready, so it could aim.

"Ok...seems like you are not interested to cha-ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

The arrow was shot, which had caught Hex by surprise. Hex braced himself for the pain, but he felt no pain at all, but he did hear a growl behind him though. When Hex looked up, he saw that the pillager was gone, and in its place was a little, innocent-looking but an aggressive wolf. It was Ghost! And he came just in time!

Hex sighed in relief and looked at the wolf in front of him.

"You saved the day again Ghost! Good boy!" Hex said kneeling down to pat the little wolf's head. Ghost wagged his tail happily. After Hex was done patting Ghost's head, he stood up and said, "Now let's help your owner and her friends out, yeah? I don't want Valorie to think that I was messing around with the mobs, AGAIN."

Then he added, "Even though I actually DID mess around earlier."

Ghost howled in response and went off to find his next (lucky) victim.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

During the fight, there were many close calls. For example, one of them would get seriously injured and have no health potion in hand, too many mobs cornering them, or Ghost's health would be dangerously low.

Valorie would always think of a solution though, no matter how hard the problem was. ( She wasn't chosen to be their group leader for no reason.) She was always there when one of the members (including Ghost) was in need of healing, so those were easy to solve problems.

But the heroes had found themselves in a new situation that they'd never encountered before...
