"Isn't Lexine awake yet?" Christana popped her head into the room and posed the question at Quira.

Quira's eyes were red and dark eye bags adorned the bottom of her eyes. She was holding Lexine's hand, as she had been doing since Taevlin had brought her in two days prior.

She turned to look at Christana and shook her head. "She hasn't made a move for the past few hours."

Christana sighed, and walked into the room, "If this goes on, then we might have to take her to the other side of the gate. The royal drakkon physicians are the best on the other side of the gate, so we may have to go to the Drakkon Empire."

"Her aunt refused though." Quira shook her head. "Don't forget that before being taken by her family, that other girl also said she wanted to be there when Lexine wakes up. If we were to go to the other side of the gate, it would be impossible."
