5 The result of training.

Guffar had a normal day. Woke up, washed himself and ate with his brothers in arms. During the patrol he found some humans and killed then. While the leader wasn't looking he pocketed some shinies and no one found out.

Chiwa liked shiny things a lot, so he always tried to get some to show her. He wouldn't admit it, but he had a crush on her. He wanted to marry her.

Muscles that could rival rocks, skin that shined when she stood tall, lots of feats and scars to tell the story, her drunken laugh was cute…

Everything was going well, until the end of his patrol, a little before the sun comes up.

-Oi, Guffar, Buffor! Look out!

A strong hit on the side of his head knocked him to the ground. There was blood and he couldn't see anything with his left eye after waking up.

The first thing he did was remember his training and his hands reached for the horn on his hips. Taking it to his mouth he blew at it the hardest his hurting lungs permitted and rolled to the side, avoiding a rock spike from the ground.

Getting up he picked his spear and launched himself in battle. Looking for the enemies' weak spot, not stabbing your allies, try not to die. That was all that his brain could think.

When one of his trusts finally hit, he felt cold sweat break out from his body, more than normal, and he thought of Chiwa again.

(Ah, I hope she doesn't see me in this state.)

His abdominal muscles contracted, and the pain that came after was no lesser than what he had expected.

Blood dropped on his eye, but he couldn't see with it for some time now. Even if he could, the image of a fist penetrating his innards was shocking enough to make him forget to blink.

Life was driving away from him so fast he could feel it.

(It's magic!)

The thought shocked him and the realization of what this meant made him want to scream, but only blood came from his throat.

Right after, he felt weightless. His back hit cold leather and iron from a shield. It surprised him to still be conscious even with all the pain, but he attributed such to pain resistance leveling up.

-Guha… Ju… sta… unti… re… rein… *coughs blood*

His brothers did not need anyone to tell then what he meant, but none thought they could do it.

Of course, that was only until a very big spear that came flying out of nowhere got into the enemy's stomach.

Until then, none of their attacks did more than rip his clothes and create light wounds on his flesh. But now, he was sent staggering after flying for two meters or so, blood on his mouth.

-Stand your ground soldiers, we're here and two more units are coming surround it, we're capturing it alive.

For that, relief came to the face of the soldier already fighting Aki, but it was soon after snatched.

-Twenty more idiots to train with? Perfect. These weaklings hardly qualify as living targets. Having to hold back so they don't die is boring, now come ma'am, I am sure we can…*Shrung*...Have a lot of fun together.

The fact he talked their language was not too surprising considering a lot of things and the importance of the matter in the moment. What really surprised then was the fact that after such speech, the mess made by the spear on his stomach, which he just took out, was rapidly closing.

*Inhales deeply*-Haaa. I may never have used drugs, but this! This is good shit.

A spear of light penetrated the healers side. He did not scream, for a thunder bomb was inside the spear, which hit him face on and spread to the men in front. Those received little damage, but they also got a little numb.

Fire needles and ice javelins got thrown around. His arm was cut off. Another orc got his head kicked, but this time brain matter could be seen flying around.

This didn't look at all like a normal 5…  now six stars rank 0 fighter.

Catching an orc's head in the middle of the fight and using him as a baton to hit the spears that was just thrown at him, certainly was the best example. It also worked to drop the morale, but that was negligible.

-Hold on just a little longer, the others are… *suffocation noises*

-Just because my arms aren't attached to my body doesn't mean I can't control them.

It was telekinesis, not gum. The technique is simply the use of telekinesis as a pathway and a lightning spell as an enlargement of the brain waves distance of control. Think of it like having a body similar to Mr. Fantastic's.

His fingers were burned away by the she orc and only charred meat was left. The arm around her neck loosened it's grip and retreated, attacking like a mace on the way back.

-Don't think your dir… Puha!

Of course, that also means you can make a lot more arms, it's just very hard to control. The idea can only be applied because Aki has a high level mental resistance, which makes him have an easier time adapting, and a high understanding of magic/mana operation.

Without air in her lungs because of a sudden invisible punch, the team leader who was throwing spears until now easily collapsed when another one hit her head against the ground.

The last thing she heard were screams and heavy breathing.

Ashaka woke up and saw she was in a cave. The men had his back to her, she thought of attacking, but he would be on guard in such situation. Besides, his arm had been put back in place, so she doubted whether she could actually defeat him alone and unarmed.

-Eighteen dead this time. Good record, I think. Oh, you awake. Before you ask, the reason you have no shackles is that I simply didn't have any on me and I already used magic to enslave you. Obviously though, you retain consciousness .

-Where are we?

-A cave I've found and started to use after killing the previous owner. Now, tell me what you think of me. Say the truth.

-You are a beast worth hunting, but too crazy for your own good.

That was what she thought, she just didn't plan to tell it to him so bluntly or so fast. She didn't know what to expect from him (she guessed it was a him), but didn't think he would just nod and continue.

-What do you think of humans in general?

-They are weak, but can turn strong.

So far so…

-How do you feel about working for me? Just to clarify, but I don't like using this power over you for matters such as to humiliate you.

Not good.

-It's humiliating to lose to someone so young, but most mages don't know close combat, so I am confused about such feeling. You have proven yourself in battle and impressed me, so it's not strange for you to take me. There are cases of a warrior losing to an magician of lower rank before, but not with a strategy like your's, so I am also intrigued. Overall it's not too bad if I try to pass it as been your wife, but otherwise I'd say it looks like a crazy contract.

-Let's go with the crazy contract for now. We don't know each other well and I don't plan to simply take you against your will. As an orc, how do humans look like to you?

-Like children without muscle or tusks. And a little pale too.

-Good, you started talking by yourself. Last question, how old are you? I need to know only to compare with your rank so…

-23.

-So orcs don't have that culture too, good to know. Ok let's go.

-Where?

-To the city, of course. I hate to sleep on the floor, and there I can at least ask for a blanket. Shame that it's almost morning. Are you tired?

-My head hurts, but I don't know if is a concussion. Besides that I am ok.

-Is that so? Focused heal. Tell me when you are fully recovered. Focused heal…

-That's enough. Save some for battle.

-It's not that much of a problem, i can just get more in battle. Also I won't force you to fight your tribe, but besides that I expect you to work your part.

-Is that so? It's healed anyway, don't worry.

-Okay.

-...

-...

-...

-Do you have a hobby?

-I help cooking.

-For fun?

-Yeah, so?

-Nothing. It just seems boring.

-What's your hobby than?

-Reading.

-Now that is boring.

-And that is why Ashaka here is going to start accompanying us.

-Are you sure it's a good idea to bring me here? Everyone is looking.

-Do you have confidence problems?

-What? No, but half of then look like they want to sell me and the other half wants to have me.

-Oh, well, yeah. You'd be considered a very high class slave in the market. To then you look very much civilized and by human standards you are a beauty, so that is quite normal.

-I heard the last part from the forge mother, but are humans generally all lust driven?

-Most men and some women yes, but really, it's just that we are on a gathering of weak guys who would not be able to get their own woman or normally just pay for them.

-Pay for them? As in slaves?

-It's more like in exchange for the service. Anyway, human fetishes aside, this is Agatha. Agatha this is Ashaka. Now you two follow me for the rest of the school period. The first class is about self reflection. You two will accompany me in Hardcore Yoga.

-What's Yoga?

-You tell me.
