Chapter 2: Sadie

I was at Sadie's house. She was talking about school. I wasn't really listening though. I tried to listen, but I couldn't. She was to beautiful. I looked at her eyes, so blue and gorgeous. Her hair moving as she moved her head. Her amazing, soft voice was music to my ears. She looked at me, and I looked back. My heart was pounding. I couldn't breathe. She turned her head around, and I'm glad, because at that same moment, I tried to kiss her, if she wouldn't have moved her head, my lips would have landed on hers. I ended up kissing her on the cheek, which was good, since we did that sometimes. She just gave a little smirk. I was afraid. I could have kissed her, that was bad. I couldn't imagine me kissing her, and it ending well. She was straight and liked boys, even though she's never had a boyfriend or never even talked about having a crush. I was able to go the rest of the day controlling my lips... Barely.

I looked at the clock on my bed side table. 11:34 PM. I laid my head back on the pillow, and just stared at the dark ceiling, thinking about Sadie. Thinking about her smile, her laugh... And how I tried to kiss her earlier. It was still scary, imagining how things could have went if Sadie didn't turn her head. I went to sleep about an hour later.
