ABATING

The night seems to be longer than usual. A cool night it is but all of a sudden a heavy wind begins to blow, a dark cloud forms in the sky just above the ocean when creatures with wings begins to fall into the water, some fell at the seashore startling those there and causing many to run, some fell into the deeper sides of the ocean, some in the woods, some on ships and speed boats.

A random speed boat with a bunch of adults having fun when this unknown creature falls in, "step aside" a man yells as they all moved back looking at the creature, it seems to be a normal human only with wings and tattered clothes. It seems lifeless but then opens its grey eyes, everyone begins to scream and move back, the creature stands up weakly. some people jumps into the water when one of the women picks up a gun and begins shooting at it, the creature calmly looks around not moving an inch by the gun being shot at it, it jumps into the water leaving everyone looking around in shock. They let thier guards down exhaling "what the fuck was that?" The woman holding a gun asks, a man looking around like he was expecting something else says in a loud voice "Rick!!! Get us out of here" Rick tries to turn the boat but couldn't "what's happening?" One of the men asks going to give a hand "Dave and sarah dived in and they are not out yet, we need to help!!!" Another woman says crying and shaking as she runs to look into the water with her flashlight on "oh my God! Guys" she says moving backwards quivering as the water was coloured with blood. Just then their boat was raised with a violent force causing them all to scream, the boat capsizes.

The woman who was previously holding a gun manages to swims up to the surface as her eyes is filled with fear, she hurriedly swims to the capsized boat coughing vigorously when she saw the same creature surfacing at a far end, she whimpers in fear "No! No!! No!!! Oh my God!" she looks around trying to know what to do but when she turns back to where the creature once was but it's gone, she looks around with wide eyes in fear and low whimpers escaping her mouth but almost immediately something attacks her legs from beneath, she screams so loud with sobs before her eyes turned blood red as she collapses then sinks....

The night was still very dark when a man walks in it slowly. He turns to his left, opening a door it's Lukas, he walks into a hall where another male figure stood close by, "is it done?" The man asks, he is a short Latino with black hair, he's hands casually with his hands in his pocket "I did Rodrigo" Lukas replies as they both exchange a quick smile which fades immediately.

Natasha is having a dream when a sword hits the ice littered with white feathers causing it to crack, she saw herself and all her supernatural friends including Derek fall into the icy water beneath. She gasps from her sleep as she sat up panting heavily, she looks around in fear. She stands up taking off the carpet on the floor, revealing a safe, she rolls in some digits and it opens, an old looking book laid beneath, taking it up she opens it quickly as she begins reading a spell, her eyes closed shot as she sees Josh being injected and Derek lifeless. She opens her eyes again gasping, she stands up getting her phone from the side of the bed as she dials Miras number "Mira meet me at Derek's, he's stocked at the other side" she inhales sharply "and the wings portal is opened" her voiced dies down

Candice laid on her bed, she can't sleep her mind flashes back to when her parents where still alive.

*Flash back*

Little Candice walking pass her parents room when she heard them argue, she stopped to eavesdrop. Mr Corbett "I don't think this is something you should be worried about, I can take care of it" "that's what you always say, you are putting us in danger Gerald, every time you are always at the verge of giving it all, of putting all this crap before you and you end up being hurt, I end up!" Mrs Corbett said "I'm not hurt Valerie! It must be done for the sake of us and I mean, everyone" he assured, Mrs Corbett began to sob as she cups her mouth with her left hand turning away, tears falling. She inhales trying to calm down, he stood up and wrapped his hands around her "darling I just need you to know I'm okay" an awkward silence fell, she didn't even try to shove him away, she stops sobbing, though her voice was a bit husky, she turned to face him, looked into his eyes then asked "do you know the worse kind of pain?" Gerald tried to speak but no words came forth, she looked deeper into his eyes "it is the pain you adapt to"

*flash back over*

Tears falls from Candice face as she wraps herself round her duvet. Her face looks empty, she lost every sense of emotions she needs to feel.
