It was the most useful for lower-realm cultivators but Xiao took it for the aesthetic appeal of it. She spent 2 thousand gold coins on it quite casually. Now that he was traveling with a dangerous group, which seemingly had an affinity with 'trouble', Muchen realized that it was time to refocus on his cultivation and combat style.

Naturally, he purchased a crossbow combat technique too. He was switching to a long-range weapon because he belonged to the type of people who would avoid close combat due to their limited prowess. For them, it was best to keep a safe distance from the enemies.

Deodomus ventured into the familiar market once he was done with Blue Raven. He went to the most experienced weaponsmith and purchased many good quality swords and spears.

Deodomus' weapons would rarely last more than a few times of usage. Almost always he was breaking a sword or had it chipped away due to the intensity of his battles and his fierce combat techniques. As for the spear…heh, they were mostly only good for one shot each. Death Spear would certainly cause the death of a spear when used in propelling moves.

Deodomus bought a dozen swords and 70 spears. The weaponsmith was so pleased with this rich customer that he offered him a full body armor at cost. It was a red-colored armor made of tough metals, chainmail, and robust fabric. It came with a little support technique, which would help one wear it within moments of summoning it from the spatial ring. Deodomus was very pleased with it.

He continued roaming. He had plenty more things to buy. Livestock, medicine, aphrodisiacs, and most importantly; a wedding ring for Xiao.

"I gave my best armor to a cultivator just today." The weaponsmith said. "But I have the second best available." He took out a jade armor. It was lighter than pistachio green, just like a jade but also white with steel chainmail at the joins and a feathery collar.

"Oh wow, it looks so beautiful!" Hailey exclaimed. Xiao nodded. She liked it at first glance too.

"Haha! Then for the fair lady, I'll sell it at cost price. I'm in a good mood today!" The weaponsmith said.

Xiao suddenly looked aside as a thought occurred to her. She eyed the hulking weaponsmith who was in his 60s with thick biceps, a muscular body but a chubby belly. He looked like a giant dwarf with his coarse reddish black hair and a large beard.

At once Luna fell silent. She was well aware of these feelings. She might be the mighty Moonlight Assassin, but there were so many other powerful cultivators she had to be aware of. She had to rely on Moon Gang's collective strength. Yet, she could not fully trust them. The way of the assassins is truly merciless. Under the pale white moonlight, Luna and Skird sat silently, gazing at the moon, immersed in their inexplicable emotions.
