346 WEEKEND GETAWAY

The following weekends, Xue Jinxu had arranged another party in a resort.  She felt that her husband could use some vacation out of their usual daily life.  Especially now that his identity had been revealed, Chen Linyun's spirits plummeted involuntarily. 

Xue Jinxu's heart shattered along with his.  She felt her heartache for him and with him as if they were one unit.

Thus, she rented out a resort just two hours from their house in an attempt to lift the mood and invited some close friends – all youngsters like them.

Hwang Meilin, Mo Wenbin, Kang Sola and Xue Guangxi accepted her invite.  Zhu Li Qiang was on the tentative list.

When Xue Jinxu invited him over the phone, he had asked first, "Will Teng Man Rui be there?"

"She's not invited." The lady answered curtly, annoyed. 

'Why is he still asking about her?  Such masochist.'

Zhu Li Qiang sighed.
