Soren Aron Marco Esguera.

He is the team captain of the Quizbee team ICT category. He brought glory to Quantum City High School by winning first place in the National Cyber World Online.

He carried the ICT Quizbee team lf QCHS into the final round, and won.

His intellectual level when it comes to Hardware servicing and software analysis is unmatchable. Even I, the President of the VR Athlete's Club can't match up with him.

I looked at Rue and gave me a deep sigh. I could already take a guess of what he's going to say.

I took another look at Soren's resume, and gave off a deep breath. This will surely disappoint him. I already feel sorry for Soren.

I know he really wanted to join our club. I know he wanted to join the fight of

his sister in her last fight. But, I couldn't defy my boyfriend Rue.

"Soren, we all know that you are competent when it comes to technology." Rue started off, and try to calmly execute a conversation with Soren.

"Yes, and, I had been studying the VR technology. Especially the hardware and software." because, there is no stopping Soren when he started to speak.

Soren talks more than listen.

"I also found out that we can remotely control our..."

"The thing is Soren." Rue cut him off there. I'm afraid one of us should do it to make this conversation short.

I took a deep sigh and look through the monitor of my office computer instead.

"VR Sports is not the same with Quizbee."

Soren let out a sarcastic laugh. "Hahaha, I know you would say that" his forehead was out of the friendly height and his long-sharp chin is now pointed at Rue.

Soren got a chingky eyes, but it wasn't obvious because of his big black pupils. These are the eyes that usually looks so innocent, but now,

"You're telling me indirectly that I am not capable of becoming a VR Athlete?" his eyes starts to slowly burn with rage.

Rue couldn't think of a better answer. His right hands grabbed some of his curly hair. That very gesture seems like his out of options. But he got to tell Soren directly if his out of options.

"We're classmates. And we know, you despise playing games." Sigh, a lame excuse Rue. A lame excuse!

Rue's chinkgy eyes were now focused on Soren.

"And, in VR Sports, gaming is the essential." Rue's forehead had already exceeded the friendly line too. "So, tell me, mister team captain of the Quizbee team," Rue grabbed Soren's resume from my hands. "What's written here wouldn't help you to easily join this club. Because, you, are not into games." Rue said while pointing at Soren using his resume.

"I can..." before Soren could even finish. Rue immediately spoke

"...no you won't! You won't learn it in an all nighter like what you do in your review. It takes years of practice!" Rue slammed Soren's resume in the arm of the student's chair where Soren sat.

"You think it was that easy to win! We practiced every night, we didn't sleep at all and dived in to the Virtual World to practice. And... and yet we lost! This is not the same with..." while Rue was shouting. Soren took his resume and stood.

"I see, so that's how it is huh?" Soren said and took a sigh.

Soren shook his head and said, "You haven't changed at all Rue."

"I-I'm sorry." Rue's anger suddenly cleared out aftet Soren stood up and walked towards the door of the computer laboratory office.

"No, as your classmate, it's okay, no big deal. But just be sure to get yourself prepared Rue and you too Charmaine." what is Soren talking about. What are we going to prepare ourselves for?

"Because, I'll make sure that the two of you are wrong! I know how losing feels! But it's not just about practice for you to win." Soren said and left the office.

Sigh.

I know it's not about the fact that Soren hated gaming. It's more of a personal reason, ain't it Rue?

"Tsss... he thinks he can learn anything? And steal the leadership from me again? I won't let him repeat what he had done to me on the Quizbee team!"
