21 Chapter 21: Adventurer (5)

*Burp!*

Ling Tian nodded at the experience. The food suited his taste buds and were super tasty. Making him want to eat it again, even though he was already full.

Ling Tian stood up and took a look at the magic clock hanging ontop of the counter. The magic clock's appearance wasn't any different from the modern clocks.

It worked just like the clock in modern times. The small arm was at the eight number and was a little bit to the left. The small arm was pointing at the middle, the six number at the clock.

Seeing the time was nearing for when he will be going to the Adventurer's Guild, he immediately dashed towards the entrance, leaving a blur because of his strength.

The drunk and noisy people there at the Inn, which they were sitting, stood in shock as they only saw blurs. Normal people couldn't do that so people thought that he was a guy with a good background and good strength lies on his punch.

Ling Tian dashed to the Adventurer's Guild as the wind gushed on him. His cape/robe fluttered in the wind making sounds.

His hair which was pony tailed was untied and it too fluttered in the wind, much like his cape/robe.

Under a few minutes, he arrived at his destination, the Adventurer's Guild. Just like always, it was a small building with a training ground at the back. It was like an olden chinese courtyard. As usual there was a shabby opened gate with the words "Adventurer's Guild."

Ling Tian walked straight into the guild and there, at a corner, he saw a beautiful girl with a long ear wearing a formal suit just waiting there. It was Anna, Anna Lightheart, the elf receptionist.

Without hesitation, he walked towards her and stopped in front of her and their eyes met.

Seeing the elf was standing here, he said slowly,

"Am I late? Perhaps for a minute?!"

Hearing this, the elf smiled, which was also beautiful like her. It seemed to resemble her. She replied,

"Not at all! In fact, you are early for about 20 minutes. Good job. Today, I will be guiding you how to work in the Adventurer's Guild."

Ling Tian nodded, he too was charmed by that sexy smile. After regaining his composure, he replied back,

"How can I work in this small building? This is way too small. Even a house is bigger than this building. It is not worthy to be called an Adventurer's Guild. When even you can't afford a bigger one than this." He said seriously after checking out the scenery around.

The elf, Anna, smiled and did not speak anything, instead she walked towards a room behind the reception disk.

Helplessly, Ling Tian could only follow her, as no matter what he says, she will always smile.

Anna opened the door of the room. It was a small brick room, with a lever attached. The lever was pointing upwards.

Ling Tian followed her inside the room. Anna held the lever and pulled it down.

Suddenly, the room vibrated, Ling Tian was shocked. The room started going down. Ling Tian thought,

'There are even elevators in this era!?'

After a few seconds, the door opened with a rumble. What greeted him was a bustling little underground city. Which is enough to cover 20 houses.

The elf besides him spoke,

"Welcome to the Adventurer's Guild!"
