54 When You Suddenly Reel

"Talaga ba Bea? You looked pale?" Roschelle furrowed her eyebrows and couldn't help herself na tumingin sa mukha ni Bea, although she was kind of relieved nang makita niya na nagsmile na ang dalaga.

"Yeah. Ayos lang po ako... wala po ito..." Again, Bea calmed their worries.

"Iha... I am very sorry... hindi ko akalaing hindi ka pala sanay sa mga ganung usapan..." Sir David said. Sa boses palang halata ang sincerity niya sa pag-aalala sa dalaga.

"No..No...wala po kayong dapat isorry... wala naman po sakin nangyari... may inisip lang po ako... t-" Naputol ang pagpapaliwanag ni Bea as Sir David immediately interrupted.

"Ah.. Cody... I think mas magandang magpahangin muna kayo sa hardin. Tapusin niyo muna ang kinakain niyo then tumuloy na kayo sa labas. Cleo..." Napitigil ang matanda saka siya kumiling sa kanyang likod.

"Yes master?" Saka nagbow agad ang butler na nakatayo sa likuran ni Sir David.

"...you go with them... okay? Oh.. Cody... sure to get her some fresh air. Mukhang maputlang maputla itong si Bea ah." He continued as he raised his eyebrows towards Cody.

"..." Hindi na nakapagsalita ang dalaga. Basta magsalita na si Sir David, talagang wala na siyang magagawa kundi ang sumunod. Maybe it is a good idea for her na sundin nalang si Sir David tutal nababagabag pa siya ng sobra dahil sa wala siyang maalala sa boses ni Cyrus. Some good and fresh air would completely calm her.

"Yes po dad." Saka walang pasubaling tumango si Cody. Halatang halata sa mukha ng binata ang pag-alala. Pagkatapos nga na tumango ay agad ulit sinulyapan si Bea.

"Then... you should finish your meal okay..."

"Opo." Bea slightly bowed her head. Actually, nahiya siya sa naasal niya. Although hindi niya naman sadya but still, inimbitahan lang siya sa mansion yet she caused more trouble than she expected.

Bea's eyes suddenly widened as long as she stepped out mula sa loob ng mansion. Earlier she was on her stupor yet this time she only found herself staring on the black sky with tiny yet sparkling stars above them. She was still in awe sa kanyang nakikita sa taas as she felt nipping splatters of water mula sa mga fountain na nakapalibot sa kanila. She couldn't help but to gaze on her smooth exposed legs from her black dress.

SPLATTER!

Her eyes went wide as another tiny droplets flew towards her. Before it touched her feet, she immediately reeled her body backwards. But...

"Ah!"

"Wa- !"

Since she was really indulged on the scenery, hindi na niya nahalata na nasa tabi niya pala si Cody. Because of this, malakas niyang nabangga ang binata as she couldn't held her ground 'till sa mawala ang balanse ng kanyang high heels.

'Shoot! Matutumba ako!!!'

On that very moment, nanlaki agad ang mga mata niya kasabay ng pagbukas ng kanyang bibig sa pagkabigla.

That was very fast, narealized niya na lang na isang paa niya nalang ang nakaapak sa baba at ang isa'y nakatilapon na pataas. On that desperate time, wala na siyang ibang maisip na hawakan kundi ang binatang kanyang nabangga.

Without a bit of hesitation, she quickly stretched her arm until it circled the young man's neck.

Kahit nga si Cody na sobrang bigla at hindi pa naintindihan kung bakit siya binangga ng dalaga, walang pasubaling inunat ang kanyang kaliwang kamay at ito'y mabilis na umikot sa likod ng dalaga. While his other hand quickly gripped her bare shoulder.

Bracing from the impact, their body couldn't stopped na mas magkalapit as well as ang kanilang mga mukha. Her chest gently poked on his masculine physique which was even them couldn't expect to happen. When her arms still clutching his shoulder, hindi na napigilan ng kanyang puso na lumukso at kumaripas ng tibok.

She quickly pressed her lips together as she was devoured by his manly mint scent. His ragged breathing repeatedly stroke her smooth face. And from time to time, she couldn't stop her nose from sniffing his warm breath na tumatama sa kanyang mukha.

Her whole body shuddered on his hands.

She had no idea what to do, instead just averted her gaze from the young man but found her eyes looking at his exposed skin under the unbuttoned shirt. Her heart went crazy as she couldn't resist on rolling her eyes on his protruding collar bone that tensed as he grabbed her back.

Cody's eyes suddenly quivered. Seeing how the young girl reacted, his face went hot until his white earlobes turned red. He gulped when he suddenly felt so weird. It is just a new feeling on him as though it is his first time circling his hands around a woman. He just came into slow realization when their body still touched, that his heart was about to explode. Every beat pounded his hand as though urging him to caressed her back and touched her even more.

Both of them felt the sudden surge of hotness. Kahit nga na ilang segundo nang nakaliyad si Bea habang kalung kalong ni Cody, still hindi pa rin sila agad bumitaw sa isa't isa.

They just... stopped like that... while both of their faces averting each others gaze and their whole body trembled... while the stars kept twinkling happily above them... while the water kept on splattering...

... and while... Cleo, the butler... there behind them... feeling lonely...feeling down... habang tinitingnan ang sobrang cheesy na couple (on his eyes).
