5 Sassy needs to chill…

"What is wrong with you Ed? You only heard 'girl' … what about the adjective 'arrogant' that I used before it?" Kevin scoffed. He rolled his eyes knowing that Edward couldn't see him. "I can't believe extremely dumb people like you exists." he said to himself. All of a sudden, his eyes went to a silhouette which made him flinch.

His unwanted guest was again standing by the door. She had the same cold expressions on her face. But this time, they were a little more intense.

Kevin gulped. "I'll call you back," he murmured while getting up from the couch.

"But what happened? I haven't even told you why I called-"Edward was shouting from the other side of the phone but Kevin disconnected it anyway.

"Arrogant" Mia gently patted her cat on her head. "I see" she looked up, square in his eyes.

Kevin gulped. He hasn't been this anxious before. "What is wrong with you Kevin? Why are you getting nervous? This is just another spoiled girl. Stop behaving like a dumb fellow." He was trying hard to collect himself. The burning gaze from the unwanted guest made him feel uneasy.

"Sassy is dear to me, that's why I came to thank you."

"Oh!" he left out a sigh of relief.

"But now I won't."

"I am sorry what-"

Before he could complete his sentence, Mia turned on her heel and left. Kevin was standing still. He was too stunned to react.

After a minute, he realized that he was in his own house. "Gosh! What is it with this girl'' he thought.

Mia came back to her apartment. Her place is hardly a few minutes walk from Kevin's place. Unlocking the door, she entered inside. "Don't go away from me like that Sassy. I was worried for you." She placed Sassy on the dining table. "You must be hungry. Let me get your food." she smiled at her. Sassy peacefully lied down on the table and Mia went to the kitchen.

***Cell phone ringing***

Mia picked up the call.

"Hey, Mia… how's everything??"

"Make your call worthy otherwise don't you dare call me again," she answered in a cold tone.

The person on the call stopped for a second and then continued.

"I have intel."

"Come to my house then," Mia said and disconnected the call. Taking the dish and the cat food out from the cupboard, she went to Sassy. "Come on Sassy. We got work to do." Sassy instantly jumped off from the table and followed Mia who was going to her bedroom.

Two huge bags were lying on the bed. Mia placed the dish with the food on the table besides the bed. Picking up Sassy, she said "Now you enjoy your food while Mama does some work. Okay." She placed her on the top of the table near to the dish. Sassy started eating and Mia turned to the bags. She opened the second one, it was filled with bullets and guns. She started taking them out from the bag one by one.

The day dawned crisp and clear. Breezy air with a little smell of dew drops was singing an unsung song.

Kevin was jogging in the broad and immaculate park guarded by maple trees all around it.

***Meow***

"Wait!?" he suddenly stopped. "Is that??" He turned around.

"Oh my! Yes, it is." a broad smile appeared on his face. "Hey, little meow meow..." he spoke softly. "You belong to that arrogant girl… What was your name? Sassy right?" he was beaming at her.

The cat extended both of her arms indicating that it wants to be picked up. "Ooh… You want a ride? Okay," he smiled fondly at the cat.

He bend down to take the cat in his hands. Out of the blue, he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder while his body rolled over on the pavement. Before he could make sense of anything, he was lying on the ground with his back aching.

"Don't you dare touch my sassy again," a voice with cold tone filled his ears.

Within a second, He understood that he was hustled by someone and he had a clue of who the person was.

Getting up from the ground, he saw Sassy walking elegantly to her owner who picked her up in her arms.

"Are you mad??'' Kevin shouted as he got really angry this time. He had had enough of both Mia and her Sassy. His eyes went to his hand which was bleeding. That made his anger reach at its peak.

"Who do you think you are?" he yelled at the top of his voice.

"Don't you dare raise your voice in front of me," Mia shouted back. She sounded way angrier than Kevin. But Kevin didn't back off this time. He stepped forward and looked directly in Mia's eyes giving her an absolute pissed out look.
