15 I want that Necklace!

"The memory card is in that necklace. It is what we need." Ida answered softly.

"So we have to get that necklace now. Do you know where it is??" Mia asked.

She sighed and looked back at her. "It's with Kevin." She answered.

Mia's expressions changed. Her facial muscles tensed. "We have to find it." she said firmly.

"But, we don't know what it looks like," Ida replied, "The only thing we know about that necklace is that it was gifted by Charlie."

"I don't want excuses. I want that necklace. You have 1 hour to do that." Mia threatened Ida with her eyes.

Ida nodded and left her house.

An hour passed by~

Ida entered Mia's house and went straight to the bunker. Mia was cleaning her pistols. "I hope you have good news" she eyed her through the rear sight of the pistol.

Ida ducked her head.

***Gunshot echoes***

Ida opened her eyes which were pressed in the fear of getting hit by the bullet. She turned and saw a hole in wall behind her.

"I'll find it out myself now." Mia got up from the chair while grabbing her pistol and bullets.

"Wait. What are you planning to do?" Ida shouted.

"Come with me." Mia replied and left the bunker.

Mia, along with Ida, sneak into Kevin's house with both of their faces covered with masks and caps. She led her straight to his bedroom where she hoped to find that necklace. It was a considerable room with a huge wall shelf devoted to novels. Without wasting any time, both of them started looking for the necklace.

"Where is the damn thing," Mia clenched her teeth.

***Main Door opening sound***

Mia swiftly turns to Ida whose eyes were popped out.

***Door closing and locking sound***

"That's bullshit Eric! Who told you that?" Kevin yelled as he closed the door.

"I swear to God Kev. You have got to try it out" Eric's eyes glittered. Kevin and Eric came into the hall while talking.

Mia bit her lower lip while deliberating. "Ida" she uttered in a low tone.

Ida turned and stepped forward but her feet twisted and she fell on the book-shelf making a number of books to fall down onto the ground with a loud thud.

"What was that?" Eric jumped to his feet.

"I think there is a thief in our house." Kevin mumbled. Both of them got alarmed.

"I think it's in your room." Eric mumbled. Kevin nodded in agreement.

"Damn it!" Ida condemned. "What are we supposed to do now?" she whispered.

Mia breathed out sharply. She eyed Ida angrily. "There" she uttered.

***Footsteps approaching***

Kevin and Eric stood out by the door to Kevin's room. Kevin looked at Eric, "On the count of three", he mouthed. Taking a deep breath Kevin placed his hand on the door's knob. "Three...Two...One-"

***Door Opens swiftly***

Kevin entered the room followed by Eric. "Hey, You.. stop right there." Kevin yelled at the person standing besides his book shelf. He raised the baseball bat, which he brought for protection, in the air. "Hands where I can see them" he warned.

The person was standing still.

"Imma call the police" Kevin stated and put his other hand in his pocket.

Suddenly the person turned around and shouted, "DON'T"

Kevin was taken aback, "You are the one who tried to kill Sam before. You must be the one who killed Samuel" he shrieked.

His eyes enlarged as he realized something. "You are here to kill me too aren't you?"

The person stood still.

"Take off that mask. I want to see that face" he ordered.

The person didn't move at all.

"Do it now or I am calling the police." He raised his voice.

"Wait" the person shouted.

"Quick" Kevin ordered.

The person took off the mask and the hat.

"YOU!" Kevin stood dumbstruck. "How could you? I thought you were arrogant but this!" he scoffed.

"Put your bat down." Ida commands firmly from behind.

Kevin jolted at the sudden voice and turned around. Ida held Eric at her gunpoint while her other hand was around his neck, ready to strangle him.

"Throw it away. NOW!" She raised her voice. Kevin did as he was told.

"Good boy." Mia teased him. "You know the deal right? You take one a step ahead and she will kill your friend" she smirked.

"Why?" He pressed his eyes in disdain.

"Cut the crap and get down on your knees" Mia roared at him.

Kevin didn't budge.

"Have I mentioned that I have your OTHER friends with me?" Mia chirped.

"What?!" He couldn't believe his ears.

"Now, you and I should have a little chit chat. And by the way, your friends don't have much time so you'll have to make it quick" Mia strides closer towards him.

"What do you want?" he looked her square in her eyes.

"For starters, on your knees" Mia threatened him with her eyes.

Kevin clenched his teeth and did as he was told.

"Good boy" Mia patted him on his head.

"Now tell me. The necklace, where is it?" Mia raised her tone.

"What necklace?"

"You know what necklace. So, Don't stall."

"Lady I have no idea what you are talking about" he tries to get up.

"Oh really?" She kicked the joint of his leg, making him fall down with a thud. She grabbed his hair and pulled his head backwards. "Last chance now. Talk!" She roared.

"I don't know!" He whined.

Mia signaled Ida. She nods and injects Eric's neck. Instantaneously, he fell down on the floor unconscious.

"No..." Kevin screamed. "What did you do to him?" He shouted in anger.

Mia chuckled. This made Kevin agitated. He jumped to his feet and grabbed Mia's hand which had the gun and twisted it to the opposite side.

Looking straight into her eyes he howled, "Why are you doing this?"

Mia was shook. Without making any effort to free her hand, she was looking into his eyes as if she was spellbound.

"Ahh!" He suddenly groaned and fell on the floor.

Mia abruptly got out of her thoughts. Kevin was lying on the floor with a syringe attached to his neck. She looked up and Ida was standing right beside him. "Good Ida." she blinked twice, trying to focus on the things again. "Let's take them to their friends." she stated.

Mia kneeled down to handcuff Kevin.

"Ouch!" Mia felt a sharp pain at the back of her neck. "I can't-" she tried to speak but fell on top of Kevin. Her vision blurred and then everything blacked out.
