3 First quirk

A year has passed since I was dropped off at the orphanage. Within that year I gained my sight and I started to walk. The directress, the person who found me outside the orphanage, was surprised at first, but later came to think that I was a little genius. She started to call me her little genius too.

On the second day I was here, the directress talked to the other children in the orphanage. Even though I couldn't see at the time, I heard three other voices besides the directress whose name was Wyetta, but she wanted us to call her Mama Wyetta. The other voices I heard were the only other children here. One male and two females. After listening for a bit, I learned that the two girls were Shawna and Ruby and the only other male in the orphanage besides me was Terrel.

After a 10-minute debate, they ended up picking a name for me. The name they choose was Angus. Being given a name ended up helping me accept the new life I gained. Then from that day on, all I could do was just lie down or be carried around.

When I gained my eyesight, I got to see how Mama Wyetta and the others looked. Mama Wyetta is a middle-aged black woman. She had short stature and a kind-looking face. Shawna is a young girl with brown eyes. She has pink strips in her and seems to have gills on her neck. Also, her fingers were webbed. She seemed to be 11 or 12 years of age.

Ruby is also a young girl around the same age as Shawna. She has ruby red hair and the same-colored eyes. Terrel looked to be the oldest of the trio looking around the age of 14. He has golden-brown eyes and dark hair.

After learning how they looked not much happened in the last year. I said a few half words here and there, but besides that nothing else happened.

TIME SKIP - 3 years later-

I am now four years old. It has been three weeks since my birthday. I have been waiting for my quirks to kick in. During the last three years, I have been thinking of just staying in America and not going to Japan to join the original Class 1a.

I have come to think of Mama Wyetta and the others as my family rather than just people who will take care of me till I am of age. I call Shawna and Ruby big sis Shawna and big sis Ruby, while I call Terrel Big brother.

Walking downstairs for some food I saw Ruby.

"Good morning big sis Ruby."

"Good morning. You're up first as always Angus. Go ahead and take a seat. The food will be done in a second."

Taking a seat, I waited for Ruby to finish cooking. Ever since she turned 14, she started to learn to cook from Mama Wyetta. Since learning, she started to wake up earlier to fix us some breakfast with Mama Wyetta.

After a few more minutes of waiting, Shawna came down quickly followed by Terrel looking like he was still half asleep.

"Morning."

After saying good morning, they both took their respective seats. About 5 minutes later Mama Wyetta and Ruby came out with bacon, eggs, ham, and some biscuits and gravy. After breakfast, I went outside to enjoy the morning breeze. Walking outside I started to feel a burning pain all throughout my body. Falling to the ground I started to scream.

"Aughhh!" The burning kept getting worse. Hearing the rushed footsteps, I started to fall unconscious. By the time Mama Wyetta got to me, I was already passed out.

Waking up in the hospital a few hours later, I noticed that my body felt stronger. Becoming excited, I ran over to the mirror on the wall. Taking notice of my appearance, I grew a few inches, and my looks went up. If I was slightly cute before now, I was the cutest child I had ever seen before. My hair which was all black before changed to a darker black mixed with white.

The door then opened, and Mama Wyetta came in with the doctor.

"Oh good, you're awake." Said Mama Wyetta happily. "It seems that you have awakened your quirk. The doctor here will use his quirk to tell you what yours can do."

Using his quirk the doctor told me, "It seems that your quirk allows you to grow in physical aspects endlessly if you push your body. It also seems to come with a small healing factor that allows you to heal faster the more you eat. It is a nice and useful quirk if you want to become a hero. What do you wish to call it?"

"I will call it 'Demon's physique'."
