16 Chapter-15 : Battle Trails [2]

A/N : Warning!! Cringe content!!This chap contains cringe and cliche stuff, don't blame me for that, the idea is used many times.

The pairs were out on the screen now.

Pairings were almost same as cannon but were different at some places, Tetsu and Kirishima were paired together, I was paired with Momo, and strangely enough Bakugo and Izuku were paired together.

'Is this plot twist??' I thought.

The first one going were the hardhead guys as heroes while Iida and Uraraka as villains.

The fight was really intense, though Tetsu destroyed the minion bots easily, but the balance was destroyed by a combo attack from Uraraka and Iida, she negated gravity on him for three seconds, in which Iida gave him a super kick and sent him flying several tens of meters.

But kirishima was not idle that moment, he took the advantage and attacked head on, Uraraka was recovering from the energy drain for making Tetsu float and Iida was still in the kicking position. Giving a hard chop at Iida's leg, denting two of his engine like protrusions and breaking a bone in the process.

Iida was out of commission as he was then thrown away by the red head.

Uraraka was left alone, without energy to use her quirk, even then she took the initiative to attack him head on with knives. But fortunately or unfortunately the time was up as the recovery team reached the ground and picked Iida up.

He was taken to the recovery girl.

The class discussed over the results, what were the steps that could have taken to prevent the outcome, what were more ways to deal with the situation and etc...

After this was the match between Izuku and Bakugo's team and Shoto And Denki.

The matchup was very great.

Izuku and Bakugo were the villains this time, they moved to the ground as the fight started.

Izuku went to his full cowl mode as streaks of lightning surrounded him along with some fire.

Denki, with support of Shoto intercepted him, while Shoto countered the flames of Izuku and secured the hostage in a big and hard ice structure.

Denki's quirk [Electrification] was a powerful quirk, it gave him ability to create huge amounts of electricity and discharge it in form of attacks, along with the passive electric armor he had.

But the downside was that he could hardly control the lightning around him.

But in close combat, it was a very dangerous ability, he could easily electrocute people if he was not careful enough. That was also the reason he held his power back much of the time.

Against Izuku in cowling mode, he had a great advantage, he could absorb the electricity Izuku's body produced in the cowl mode, all that energy Izuku created was absorbed by him.

And his electric armor was countering the flames that got through Shoto's protection.

It even absorbed much of the force behind the kicks and punches that Izuku could hurl out.

Bakugo and Shoto weren't idle either, Shoto engaged Bakugo in long range by throwing many ice projectiles towards him.

Half of the time went by as Shoto's team was gaining the advantage.

Suddenly Bakugo yelled "You DEKU!!!!! Change places with me now!! Or I'll kill you!!"

Bakugo tried changing places with Izuku but Shoto didn't allow that to happen, using his extreme heat fire to stop him, suddenly bakugo's feets and hands sparkled with small explosions as he took to air, using the repulsive force of the small explosions as propellent to make himself go airborne.

'That is going to consume his energy too fast..... Hmmm, Let's see where this will go...' I thought as I eyed the situation.

Denki looked like he was doing great with his quirk but had accumulated many physical injuries internally, Izuku's strength was still much higer than his body could bear for now.

Izuku didn't look like he was tired, [OFA] was a cheat quirk, it had very high amounts of stockpiled energy in it and could be used for as long as his body supported it.

After observing him practice for days, and seeing him today, I finally found how his other quirk worked.

His other quirk let him generate small amount of fire constantly. When near him, the fire was more hot and controlled but as soon as it moved even a little away, the it would become milder and milder as his control over it will reduce and would extinguish if they moved out of his range.

But he had great control over the fire in 5 meter range, he could create objects and projectiles, but it seemed that to create the fire he needed to expend much of his energy while to control the fire he needed hand gestures.

[See it like firebending but much nerfed]

His total range was 15 meters at top, after which his flames would go *poof*

It was a nice quirk, but with addition of [OFA] his power became much higher.

He truly does have the plot armor I think.

Bakugo had a ball looking thing in his hands which he threw with a bang.

It immediately shot out with great force towards Denki, Shoto created a heavy ice shield around him but it was still insufficient in fully blocking the projectile as Denki took much of that force and was thrown far away.

Shoto restrained Izuku with a lot of hard ice, sealing him of iside a block of ice, and went to fight on Bakugo.

Creating that ice prison for Izuku would have been very draining on his reserves, according to my calculations, right now, both Shoto and Bakugo were at 20% of their energy reserves.

It wasn't till a minute passed that Izuku was able to break open that prison while sacrificing his pinky finger to use 100% [OFA].

He took the advantage of Shoto being occupied and ran towards the ice enclosure I'm which the hostage was safeguarded.

The robot minions were already fried up by Denki's electricity.

Izuku used his fire to melt the ice away, but halfway in the process he was obstructed by a wounded Denki.

Denki laughed at Izuku as he held him by shoulders and said "Don't take this personally Izuku, this won't kill you, but won't tickle you either... "

As soon as Denki said that a huge wave of electricity burst off of him, smiting everything in the way, including Izuku.

The damage done was great as he was in direct contact with his target.

Izuku was now barely holding on to his consciousness and Denki finally fried his brain, though he would return to normal after an hour. But for now he was just a mumbling idiot, or not, he was one before too.

Using every bit of his power, Izuku gave a [OFA] 100% kick to the ice structure, destroying it along with the hostage inside and his lower leg.

But alas, he was just half a second late, the time was up.

Again, the class went to discussion as all four were taken to the recovery girl.

And as always, I gave an excellent answer again.

Now was time for my battle, the fight was Me and Momo as heroes Vs Fumikage and Shoji as villains.

There was 15 minute time given to us for creating strategies and performing well.

We moved to the ground as we prepped up.

Momo looked at me and said "I think we haven't officially introduced ourselves, My name is Momo Yaoyorozu, my quirk is [Creation] which lets me create anything non-living as long as I know it's atomic structure"

She said as she extended her hand out.

I looked at her and shaked her hand while saying "Fair enough, My name is Kira(FN) Sogaru(LN), my quirks are [Spider physiology] and [Symbiote], First one gives me super enhanced bodily functions and second one gives me a bulked up defense."

"Nice.... No wonder you were so powerful during training..... Nevertheless, let's start on how to take the enemies out... " She said as she continued formulating several different plans and finally settled for one.

The battle started and I entered the combat mode, I immediately took the minion bots out using webs while engaging Shoji in a close combat fight.

Though my strength was way higher than him, I controlled it on top of the [Restriction belt] as to not harm someone too much.

I wasn't the one who would want to crush someone completely, I respected the spirit of battle, I appreciated the hardwork my classmates were doing improve themselves, and even supported that, I used this opportunity to help him learn something new, knowledge had it's value only when it was known to more righteous people.

I fought him while giving him some corrections here and there, Momo was already out with large lights weakening Fumikage to a great degree while engaging him in long range from afar using high intensity torch that she created.

As the fight moved on Fumikage gained an upper hand and was able to land quite some hits, that was the time I decided to intervene, I shot my web which wrapped around his beak and pulled him towards myself, forcing him to face against me.

I fought both of them at the same time as I increased the intensity of my attacks every ten seconds, after a minute or so they both were incapable of fighting back as the damage they received exceeded what they could bear.

Helping them learn didn't mean I won't break some of their bones, hard lessons are the ones that people remember the most.

We secured a victory in three minutes forty-two seconds.

Momo gave me a high five as she celebrated the victory.

I smiled at that and moved back to the command room while contemplating about something.

The other two fights also went pretty awesome as the trials ended, after which, All Might shedded some of his precious experience onto us, trying to teach us, emphasis on trying.

The rest of the day was the class recovering and absorbing what they learned today while I was out training some more.

Hence the first battle arc of the anime ended here, though here things were more logical and much reasoned, the flow of events was still the same, though the outcomes this time were much different.

I was looking forward to what will happen next, seeing things on a screen while trying to understand some written words was totally different than physically experiencing the fun.

I looked towards the sun in the sky as it shone brightly, one day, my strength will also be like that, bright like a sun, most people won't even dare to face me
