9 The Forest Training Camp Arc

(League Of Villains Hideout)

Shigaraki smiles beneath his hand and turns to Kurogiri "Good thing Sensei knows where the kids are going for the summer" Kurogiri nods before the two are interrupted by Giran "Tomura the union has approved your request, but my expectations are high, once the villains see you in the spotlight they will follow you" he leaves and Shigaraki smiles "The games are about to begin".

(Kinzoku's Home)

Kinzoku grabs his stuff and checks his drawer to find the metal he was saving for just an occasion a small chunk of titanium. He grabs it and puts it in his bag along with his training weights and other equipment before leaving the house and heading to the bus stop where his class are waiting.

(Bus stop)

Kinzoku gets there with no difficulty and walks up to Tenya, Izuku and Uraraka "You guys excited for this?" Izuku, Tenya and Uraraka nod "You bet" Uraraka shyly backs off which makes Kinzoku chuckle until he hears a familiar voice "Hey I heard a few of you failed your final exams, how bad are you 1A" Kinzoku turns just in time to see Itsuka knock Neito out and drag him back to class 1B's bus. Kinzoku sighs "All right then...Tenya help me get everyone on board" Tenya nods and the two get everyone seated with Kinzoku sitting opposite Deku, the two begin talking "Hey Kinzoku, do you mind if I ask you something?" Kinzoku nods "Sure go ahead" Izuku continues "What happened between you and Consumer?" Kinzoku breathes deeply "Long story short, my mother pretty much "quarantined" me to the house after I had an incident with another kid...she stood up for me and after that we became fast friends, I'd always try and sneak out to see her and vice versa then her family was...killed and my mother tightened up things and I never left the house again till the entrance exam began. But I didn't let my "quarantine" stop my drive to be a hero and prove the people who called me a freak wrong, so I trained every day and pushed my body to its absolute limit, broke a few bones and get a few stern telling offs but eventually I was ready for the exam. And that's the story summed up" Izuku gasps "Why would she do that though over a small incident?" Kinzoku breathes fearfully "It wasn't small" Izuku looks at him "What do you mean?" Kinzoku breathes deeply "That incident was the first time I ever used my quirk and it was already durable enough to break even steel and I struck the kid out of anger and blasted steam at him to...he didn't get back up" Kinzoku grits his teeth "It haunts me everyday and that's why I refuse to break my vow as a hero" Izuku's eyes widen "I-I-I don't know what to say...but you seem very different now and I want you to follow your dream" Kinzoku and Izuku hug before Shota begins trying to get everyone to focus but only Kinzoku and Izuku listen to him.

(Mountain Top)

Everyone clambers out of the bus and Kinzoku yawns and stretches "Damn, the school could have at least payed for better seats" he straightens his back while Izuku nods "Agreed" everyone waits for the pro hero team that's teaching them to arrive and it turns out to be the Wild, Wild Pussycats. Kinzoku looks at them in surprise while Izuku talks about them and how it will be their third year working their until pixiebob grabs him by the head "I'm eighteen at heart" Izuku screams "18!" Kinzoku accidentally spits out some of the spring water he was drinking and destroys a few trees, everyone stares at him and he scratches his head nervously "Opps, didn't mean to do that" everyone sighs and Mandalay explains that to get to the forest lodge they will have to get there by noon otherwise they receive no food. Kinzoku sighs and immediately jumps down while everyone else try's to get away until Pixie Bob uses her quirk to create a landslide and causes everyone else to fall into the Beasts Forest.

(The Beasts Forest)

Kinzoku lands first and catches everyone with his quirk before looking around, a loud roar gets the attention of the class and Mineta screams as a beast made of dirt goes to attack him. Izuku breaks the beast apart and Kinzoku sighs "Ok let's go and quickly everyone come on" the class nod and hurry through the forest, destroying the other dirt beasts along the way.

(Forest Lodge, Late Evening)

Everyone arrives exhausted with even Kinzoku struggling to catch his breath, the pros congratulate them anyway with Kinzoku, Izuku, Bakugo, Shoto and Tenya gaining the attention of Pixie Bob.

Izuku looks at the small boy then back to Mandalay "Who is the kid?" Mandalay smiles "This is my nephew Kota" Izuku walks to Kota "Nice to meet you Kota-" Kota punches Izuku straight in the crotch, Kinzoku and Tenya are shocked while Bakugo smirks "I like this kid already" Shoto sighs "Yeah, he'll be exactly like you in the future" Bakugo turns to Shoto "The hell you say?!" He rushes at Shoto but Eraser Head stops them "How about you focus less on fighting and more getting your stuff out of the bus so we can get you all to eat" everyone grabs their stuff off the bus.

(The Lodge, Dining Room)

Kinzoku and the rest of the class dig in with Kinzoku, Denki and Kirishima especially, Denki smiles "This is as good as Lunch Rush's food" Pixie Bob smiles "Then I suggest you all eat as much as possible because this will be the only time you get a big meal like this so enjoy yourself's. Kinzoku eats his plate after he finishes with Shota explaining to the shocked pussycats Kinzoku's quirk.

(Hot springs)

Kinzoku sighs and climbs into one of the pools, joined by Izuku and Tenya "Now this is the life" Izuku nods "Your enjoying yourself Kinzoku" he laughs "Well it's been a while since all four of my favourite things are in one place, my friends, a place to relax, food and a place to train and exercise" Tenya nods "At least you'll make the most of this trip unlike somebody" he stares at Bakugo who's arguing with Kiri and Denki about something. Kinzoku sighs and looks to his left where the wall is to see Mineta standing looking up at it, Kinzoku growls "Don't even think about it Mineta!" Izuku and Tenya nod "Yeah, don't even think about it" Mineta immediately rushes up the wall with his quirk and Kinzoku creates a few metal tendrils from his fingers but before he can grab Mineta, Kota shows up at the top of the barrier and pushes Mineta back down, the girls thank him and he accidentally turns and sees them and falls over the wall with Mineta, Kinzoku and Izuku stop the two and dump Mineta on the floor while Izuku goes to take Kota back to Mandalay.

(The next morning)

The class awaken and head outside and see Eraser Head, he then explains what they are doing "Now we will begin your real training, Bakugo I want you to throw this baseball again like in the first test" he throws it to Bakugo who throws it into the air and Eraser Head comments "You only exceeded your previous record by 4 meters" everyone gasps while Eraser Head continues explaining "While your mental focus and stamina has increased your quirks have not, this camp is designed to help you with that" Kinzoku grins and thinks to himself "Here we go, some real training"

(Unknown Location)

Consumer sighs "I'm getting really sick of waiting for Tomura but I guess, his plan will pay off" Toga approaches her "Well, we just got a shipment from him now, shouldn't be much longer and there's enough in this shipment for everyone" Consumer grins "Excellent" Dabi speaks up "I guess Tomura isn't so spineless after all, this makes it perfect for us to send a warning shot to the false heroes and create a better future-" he gets slapped into the wall by Consumer's tendrils "I don't care about your petty cause or sense of justice Scars now shut up and do something productive, the other recruits especially Mustard quickly get on with their tasks while Consumer has a war in her head.

(Consumer's Head)

"Will you shut up you foolish girl" she throws a girl who's an exact copy of herself but in normal clothes "No, I will never forgive you for what you did" Consumer laughs "Oh come on Shōhisha, don't tell me you didn't appreciate what I did" Shōhisha grits her teeth "And stay away from Kinzoku-" she is grabbed by several tendrils and Consumer walks up to her "How about no, I know you care for him and that's why I'm going after him" Shōhisha growls "You don't deserve him you vile figment of my imagination given form" Consumer growls "Shōhisha I am what you made me, you hated everyone except Kinzoku didn't you, how you called him your "Knight" Shōhisha growls "I'm serious Consumer leave him out of this" Consumer stares her down "Or what?!" Shōhisha smirks "I will finish what I started".
