16 Rescue Exercises And An Unexpected Observer

(Balcony Near The Rescue Exam Area)

A man sighs as he walks out to the balcony overlooking the rescue exam area "I've heard rumour of a fan of sorts in this class 1-A…I'll guess I'll see for myself if he's really up to carrying on my legacy. It would be nice to have someone ready so that people never forget the importance of training and willpower in being a hero."

(Rescue Exam, Entrance)

Kinzoku thinks to himself "This should be easy from a practical standpoint for me though I'm not sure about the others, especially Bakugo. They have to comfort the injured while they rescue them otherwise they won't calm down or feel safe, just because your a hero doesn't mean people have to trust you." He hears Denki and Mineta talk about how Izuku fought Camie naked and slaps both of them before yelling at them to grow up before looking over the city and scanning it with his eyes "Hm, standard downtown kind of city, tightly packed and metal parts everywhere. Finding the injured isn't the hard part, it's calming them down and getting them out" he yawns and stretches before hearing the exam bell ring and he immediately dashes off focusing on the metal vibrations he can hear to find the injured.

(Partially Collapsed Building)

Kinzoku quickly climbs into the building and immediately notices the slowly weakening building which he stabilises using his coil technique to mimic metal wires which pull and hold the metal supports together. He then quickly zeroes on an injured child who he picks up slowly "Don't fear support has arrived, Metalurge will be your shield now" he zones in on a few others and creates a rubber like metal hand which picks them up, he stands on the hand and slowly delivers them outside the building. One of the injured people smile "Great work Metalurge but try and focus on speed as well as efficiency" Kinzoku nods before moving to find another injured group.

(Balcony)

Metarikku is joined by Aizawa who he greets firmly "Been a while Eraserhead" Aizawa nods "It has…I assume your here about Kinzoku" Metalmorph nods "So that is his name…yeah I am here about him, I'm offering him an internship as soon as possible" Aizawa gasps "I can understand your desire to work with him but don't you think your rushing things" Metalmorph shakes his head "No, he knows what's expected of him…what he needs to do. He can handle it." Aizawa sighs "If you say so though you'll have to convince Nezu" Metalmorph chuckles "Shouldn't be too difficult" he spots Kinzoku helping more injured out by using a dragon made of metal and thinks to himself "Smart kid, he observed my rescue tactics as well to better help them. Impressive, I can't wait to see what he's like in person".

(Near The First Aid Station)

Kinzoku heads to the station with an injured man when he sees his classmates fighting Gang Orca who's acting as the villain. He lands and quickly puts the man down and tells him to head to safety before rushing toward Orca.

(Balcony)

Metalmorph looks at Kinzoku as he runs towards Orca "Let's see if he makes my mistake during this exam or if he'll do what I didn't".

(Back To The Station)

Shoto and Inasa continue to hit Orca who keeps running toward them before they turn when they hear a sizzling sound and the sound of crunching metal "Metal Form: Pistion Dropkick!" Kinzoku flys through the air and shocks Orca by hitting him square in the face with his foot before pushing the piston down and sending a massive burst of steam into Orca's body blowing him and his men back with great force. Izuku gasps "Kinzoku…you actually nailed him" Kinzoku nods "You can't afford to be soft when a villain attempts to stop evacuation efforts, don't hold your punches hit him for real" the class nods and charge towards Orca while the rest handle the evacuation of the station. Orca is taken aback by Kinzoku's intensity and fire and thinks to himself "He's a fiery one reminds me of Metalmorph" he narrowly Kinzoku's punches though he does feel stings of pain due to the metal. Kinzoku and the others continue to wail on Orca before Kinzoku notices Shoto and Inasa's distaste of each other "Hey! You two sort yourselves out now we don't have time to be at each other's throats! Sort it!" Both of them quickly nod while Kinzoku superheats his hand "Metal Form: Superheated Piston Fist!-" just as he's about to make contact with Orca's face the exam ends and Orca sweat drops a little "If he'd landed that attack I might have actually been done for".

(Exam Entrance)

Kinzoku breathes heavily and looks at the board to see his name is on the r passed list though he is disappointed to discover that Bakugo and Shoto didn't pass and chews them both out before making them promise not to screw up again which they do.

(Outside, UA High)

Kinzoku walks to head back to the dorm when he is handed a letter by Aizawa before leaving he yawns and opens it.

(Letter)

"Impressive showing Kinzoku, I've heard many things about you. Almost all of them good, I'd like to offer you an internship when your graduate or a few months from now it's up to you. See you soon Metalurge"

Kinzoku's heat skips a beat "I…I…don't believe it, I need to get back and process all this. He quickly runs to the dormitory and run straight into his room.

(Kinzoku's Room)

He sits down with sweat dripping down his face "Metalmorph actually wants me on as an intern…I can't believe this, I will accept it and do it whenever it's best. I will prove my fire burns brighter then any flame and that my will is stronger then any metal. Once and for all!". He eats a small meal before laying down on his bed and falling asleep.
