37 Chapter 33
TITLE: Finals (1) – Preparation
"Is something the matter?"
Hearing Sora's question, Hana smiled awkwardly as she said
"Well, you know… umm… you know am not good with…"
"Get to the point"
Hearing this, Hana took a deep breath before requesting
"Please help me with the exams!"
"No"
Hana was shocked by his answer as she immediately asked "why?"
"It sounds like a pain in the ass"
"PLEASE!!"
Hana requested again with puppy dog eyes as she held Sora's collar but Sora didn't even flinch upon seeing this. Realizing her attempts had failed, Hana's shoulders slumped as she walked towards the exit but she soon stopped when she heard
"Stop"
Sora shouted, he didn't know why but he felt like if he didn't help her, he might regret it.
Hana turned back and as she realized Sora was the one that called her back, she said with slight rage
"What?"
"I changed my mind, I'll help you with the exam"
"Seriously?"
Hana asked with sparkles in her eyes as she appeared before Sora, Sora groaned as he said
"Don't make me change my mind"
Immediately Hana stepped back as she stood as though she was a soldier looking at her senior. Sora sighed upon seeing this but he soon frowned as he realized something and thus he asked Hana
"Whose house are we using?"
"Let's use yours since you're the teach here"
Sora thought about it for a while and nodded, his parents already knew Hana so there was no problem with her coming over again but he soon frowned as he realized there'll be a problem, which was his father but he decided not to think about it as that'll just be stressing himself.
"Okay let's go"
With that they walked towards Sora's house and during their journey, Hana asked many questions which Sora answered honestly but while answering, a question popped into his head
'Why did she ask me to help her?'
Sora knew he wasn't the brightest in the class, this was shown by the first exam in which he took 7th place. He wasn't the smartest but he had a good brain on his shoulders but compared to people like Momo and Midoriya, he wasn't anything special.
He mused on the matter for a while but soon facepalmed as he found the answer, Hana just wanted to get some alone time with him. Realizing this, he sighed as he looked at her again, still not understanding why the girl loved him but he decided not to think about it as they continued walking.

"I'm home"
Sora announced as he removed his shoes and entered the house together with Hana.
"Welcome ho-"
Aiko said but soon stopped as she noticed Hana. A smile appeared on her lips as she said
"Oh Sora, why didn't you tell me you'll be bringing your girlfriend home?"
"She's not my girlfriend mom…"
"Not yet at least"
Aiko said with a smile which caused Sora to frown while Hana blushed.
"*Cough* Anyway, we'll be in my room studying for the exams"
"Okay. Don't forget to come down for dinner"
"Sure" Sora before turning to Hana and saying "let's go"
Together they climbed the stairs and walked into Sora's room.
As Hana stepped into the room, she was slightly surprised by what she saw.
A huge bed in the middle, a table to the side with a computer atop it, a cupboard filled with all sorts of books, a door leading to a toilet, and a small table in the middle of the room with a mat below it.
"Okay, wait a sec let me freshen up"
Sora said as he headed into the toilet but he soon paused when he heard
"Can I join you?"
Sora turned and looked at her, his face saying 'seriously' but he said
"I'll pass" before entering the toilet leaving Hana alone but she didn't seat idle as she headed to his library and began browsing through it, expecting to see porn or hentai but she was disappointed as the library contained game manuals, manga, novels, encyclopedia, and so many other things.
"What are you looking for there?"
Hana soon stopped when she heard Sora's voice, she turned her in the direction of his voice and when she saw him a surprised look appeared on her face as she said
"Why are you still in your towel?"
"Don't mind that just answer my question"
"Oh, I was just checking to see if you had hentai or porn"
"Huh, why would you think I'll have that?"
"Well, I was told most boys my age are interested in such things so I thought maybe you too are a fan of such things…"
"Yeah, no, I'm too old for that" Sora said
Yeah he was about 37 or so years old (mentally) now so he had kind of outgrown that but don't misunderstand, he wasn't like those fanfics protagonists who headed for women his age no, he didn't see anything wrong with being with someone his physical age (17) as in a way that was his real age, the mental age didn't mean fuck to him.
"You're 17 so basically, you're a kid"
"Shut up!"
Hana chuckled while Sora sighed. He didn't know why he was so easily provoked by her but he didn't bother thinking about it as he said
"Wait outside, so I can get dressed"
"Can't I just stay here and watch, I promise I won't take a video"
"Fuck off"
Hana could resign herself as she headed out leaving Sora alone so he could dress.
Looking at the door, Sora sighed as he muttered
"This is gonna be a long day"

"Yes, do it like that"
Sora said to Hana as she solved another mathematical problem.
They had been in it for 2 hours now and Sora had to say, Hana wasn't dumb in fact, she was pretty intelligent. She was a good listener and fast learner, he didn't have to repeat thrice for her to understand which made his work a lot easier.
Sighing, he couldn't but have a sense of accomplishment within him as he watched her solve the problems with a little bit of effort.
"They grow up so fast"
Sora muttered but he soon became sad as he recalled the Hosu incident. He didn't know why his mind drifted to that place, as he recalled the events, he couldn't help but feel scared and disgusted in himself but he soon paused as he felt a soft sensation on his back.
Turning his head he noticed Hana hugging him, he was perplexed by this but he calmed down as he heard Hana's voice
"It's okay, I'm here for you. You can tell me anything"
"No… I can't"
"Why?"
Sora kept quiet upon hearing her question, he didn't want her to get involved in his problems but he soon felt a tinging pain in his chest as he turned and noticed Hana crying
"Why? Why won't you tell me anything? I'm trying my best to help you but you won't let me, just why Sora? Why?"
"Okay"
"Huh?"
Hana's tears stopped, Sora sighed upon seeing this as he said "alright, I'll tell you what happened"
"Serious?"
"Yeah"
A smile bloomed on Hana's face as she hugged Sora and shouted
"Yaaayyyyyy"
Sora could only sigh helplessly as he looked at her, anyone seeing this will think they're a couple when in fact, they're not.

Okay, I should drop some light on the relationship between Sora and Hana presently.
You know in life there's always that friend that you behave somehow towards him/her, like you behave as if you don't like him/her when in fact you guys are really good friends, it's kinda strange but it's cool, that's how Sora and Hana are, where Sora is you know who and Hana is the other one. Kinda stupid but hey I have a friend like that, heck he's my best friend.
