4 Chapter 4: Awakening

"Reishi is the main component material of Souls and all spiritual matter, which includes the body of the Shinigamis. Reishi is invisible and intangible to mortals, except spiritually aware ones. Free Reishi tends to be found in places closer to nature. Reishi in the atmosphere is also able to be controlled freely, allowing a person to gather it under their feet so that they can stand in the air."

"Whoaa so this means that I could fly in the sky, that's awesome!!!"

"Hahahaha well technically you will be walking and running in the air, but don't get excited too early young Izuku, there will be more interesting this that you will be able to do, so let's continue the explanation" Said Genryūsai-san

"Reiryoku is a power aligned with the spiritual sensitivity and willpower of the user. Every spiritual being and every Human has a certain amount of Reiryoku. If this amount is higher than a certain degree, it grants the person superhuman abilities, so basically the more you have the stronger you will be. Also, you can use it to sense other beings and use it to cast Kido, use Hohō, your Zanpakutō abilities, and increase your physical strength, I will explain Kido and Hohō in another time."

"Reiatsu is the physical force/pressure that a person's Reiryoku creates when released, those with high levels of Reiryoku will often have the highest levels of Reiatsu. It can be used for many things like putting psychological pressure on the opponents making them fear or feel stunned. Unleashing a huge amount of Reiatsu causes powerful shockwaves."

"So that's all the basic of the energies you will be training, usually you will need to be a soul to start training but lucky for us I have something for this problem. Genryūsai-san took a pill from his pocket. I took the pill and instantly swallow it; I will not hesitate in my path of getting stronger.

"Young Izuku you took the pill before I could tell you the side effect of the pill but anyway you need to stay awake the full process, the process of absorption of Reishi in your body will not be a pleasant one but the thing you must do the full process its to concentrate to redirect the outburst of power to your soul. Your body will naturally adapt to the Reishi so the only thing you need to do is redirect the Reiryoku to your soul, I will help you to guide it but only you can do it so if you blackout you only will get a meager power and it would take you many years to get on the level you will need."

Genryūsai-san put his hand on my chest, and I started to feel something I was trying to concentrate on it, but it's difficult since my body was breaking down itself and repairing itself. My blood vessels are exploding one by one and getting fixed. Se same was happening with my bones, skin, and organs. By far it's the worst type of physical pain I ever experienced and could make me blackout at any moment but there's no way in hell I will let it happen.

I started to canalize the Reiryoku to my soul in the path that Genryūsai-san makes for me, how something on me is growing little by little but doing this increased the amount of pain I was feeling but I just clenched my teeth.

I continue the process for an unknown amount of time, it could be just 1 minute or could be hours, the pain messed my perception of time, one little part of me wanted to give up but the rest of me would let me do that. I just thought about my mother and all my friends that supported me all this time, I know that I could be a Hero without a supernatural power but with this power, if everything Genryūsai said was true, I would be a better Hero, better than anyone even All Might.

"I will not surrender; this puny amount of pain is nothing!! As I yelled the energy around me become brighter and exploded.

Genryūsai P.O.V

"Yare yare, kids now day sure are impatient"

I don't know how long I have been waiting for this day, I think that at least a couple of thousands of years, I have been wandering in a lot of timelines and worlds for this moment. I can't say that I didn't have fun experiencing all types of this in the waiting but a part of me always felt sad being alone and incomplete.

When I first saw the kid that day in the antique shop, I didn't think much about him I just assumed that will be interested in some old comics and leave but when I gave him a second look, I could feel something different about him with the people of this world. Most people in this world have a superpower that kind of reminds me of the Fullbringers of the origin it's different. But most of them only use it in silly things and don't have the soul of a warrior except for a couple of them. But I could feel that he had the soul of a warrior even without the presence of any kind of power. But when I saw him staring at the spear a part of me felt excited, the look on his any wasn't one that a simple kid would make, it was one of longing, desire and passion and a little bit of nostalgia and as soon the kid touched the spear, I could see a connection being made by both of them.

It has funny after that he begged his mother for the spear, after that I also gave him a couple of books that would help him, as he left, I was laughing with joy since I knew that in a couple of years, I could start my duty.

And after 5 years my eyes didn't fail me, the kid now a young man truly looked la a warrior and he already bonded with the spear.

To be honest, I'm impressed by the young man, even if his body is getting destroyed and repaired, he didn't cry even once. This is not something that could be achieved only by training or getting used to pain. And the second thing that amused me is that it has been over an hour and the kid was kept sending Reiryoku to his soul, I tough that at most he will only last 15 minutes that would be an achievement itself because it would grant him the strength of a 5th seat in the Seireitei but know he is getting closer the lieutenant level there a new soul with this kind of power it's almost impossible and when I thought that he couldn't surprise me anymore he yelled and after that, all the energy got brighter and exploded.

After that, I only sought the young man unconscious, but I could feel that his Reiryoku was in the middle between a lieutenant and a captain.

Honestly. What an unbelievable guy! I said with a grin.

End of Genryūsai P.O.V

I opened my eyes confused. "What the hell happened!?

"So, you're awake now young man, you scared me to death" Said Genryūsai-san

"How long I was uncurious?" I asked

"Just a couple of hours, but the young man I just said that you gave a surprise to this old man, the amount of Reiryoku that you have to know it's almost at the required level to use a Bankai. But you need to train to control this amount of Reiryoku, but anyways how do you feel with your new body?"

As soon as he asked, I started to check my body the first I notice is that I had black tattoos on both of my arms. "What the fuck! OMG! They look cool and everything, but my mom is going to kill me!"

"Hahaha young Izuku don't worry about little details you could always say that is a side effect awaking your Quirk, there are people that look like animals so getting black tattoos shouldn't be hard to explain, also they are just to show a can see that the one in your right arm it's linked to your Spear and the one on your left it's linked to this space, also you don't have freckles anymore"

I relaxed a little bit after that and after that, then I concentrated in my right are and my Spear appear in my hand and after that, I concentrated again and the spear vanished.

"Wow this is so cool, it has many uses it can be used as a secret weapon, or if ever get stuck in an enemy I just can unsummon it at then re-summon it, also I will never be without my weapon."

I started to shadow boxing and throw some kicks to analyze how my body changed and the changes were amazing. I'm many times faster than before also my reflex and vision got better, also all my movements have more amount of power than before.

"I'm several times stronger than before so I need time to adapt"
