it had been 55 years the joker and the Batman were both old and experienced as they stood in the middle of a city filled with the joker's toxin.The place had been evacuated earlier as the Batman had a bad feeling days ago as people dropped dead at the all the ventalations of Gotham but as he faced down his worse enemy he couldn't help but ask a question.

"why are you doing this now those smoke bombs filled with your gass were there for years considering the worn out shape of them why now would you do this turning this place into a uninhabitable wasteland!?"

"hahahaha well it's simple Bats the games over we can't be as lively as we were back and it makes the jokes sour hahaha and that's even worse than a bad joke because it's just ok and that's not how I feel like going out which is why I brought these to show you as graditude for playing along"

the joker tossed a bloated envelope which the Batman caught when he opened it up his eyes widened as he saw pictures of Dick Grayson his head was cut off there was a smile on his face and he had green hair and eyes with the deadly pale face and sick smile his body had laughter carved into his back and stomach. Batman had a look of rage on his face as rage built on his face remembering his first son.

"hahahahahaha!!! he was sleeping so peacefully too after he left Gotham a phew years back I had to pay him a visit and I blew his mind you could say I was to step a Head of him hahaha you should have told him to keep his Head in the game hahahahaha!!!"

The joker clutched his stomach in laughter as the Batman saw Grayson's remains being moved in different poses making exaggerative expressions. He crumbled the papers as strings of tears left his eyes he couldn't take the joker's laughing anymore and charged at him. The Joker stopped laughing and smiled pulling out his gun firing 19 times as the bullets peirced him he still came landing a flurry of blows a punch to the face knocking a phew teeth a kick to the balls causing the clowned prince to double over and a batrang to the cheek cutting into him. The joker giggled before shoving a knife in batman's side.

"hehe this is how it should be Gotham was always meant to be our battleground I couldn't be more happy for you to fight me like this not pulling your punches as always!"

The joker pulled out a rusty crowbar with dried blood and smacked him in the face.

"I personally searched for this just to remind you of one of my greatest accomplishments and your greatest..."

he smacked him down on the dome of his head.

"... failure hahaha"

Batman staggered back and pulled his grappling hook and shot it threw the joker's stomach as it went through a wall as he ringed in and kicked the joker in his face through the wall as the joker collapsed on the floor.

"ha...haha now that was hardcore!"

the Batman grabbed the joker's neck and began squeezing.

"this was a long time coming like you said we're not as young as we were before and I've grown tired and we're both in need of a permanent rest"

the joker struggling to put his hand in his pocket as he pulled out a picture of his past self that was gambling with a deck of cards against a woman.

"well i-if I have one last thing to say bat-sy it's that I got to have this last laugh with you hahahahaha-"

*snap*

the joker was cut off as the Batman finally put the clowned prince to rest for good as the adrenaline finally whore off and he fell next to the joker's body just as 3 familiar figures rushed towards them wearing gas mask.

(hope you enjoyed comrades note I won't be as accurate with joker going forward as without Batman there's not much of a drive for him he will be reborn and steadily get his memories back of course not before he became him but you know what I mean also MHA will be a lot different and unfortunately for you manga reader I haven't "read the fucking manga!" so this'll be a heavy au so comment ideas vote and peace)
