2 Chapter 2

<Time skip - 10 Years Later>

"Time for canon to start" I say, whispering under my breath.

It's been 10 years since Izuku got diagnosed as quirkless and a lot has happened in that time. With someone believing in him Izuku is doing far better than he was in canon. He's more confident in himself, but that could also be because I told him to learn how to fight so he will have a chance to become a hero.

Bakugo still bullies Izuku for being quirkless, I tried to put a stop to it but after Izuku learned that Bakugo "accidentally" fell down the same flight of stairs three times in a row he told me not to.

I still don't have any friends and i'm not intending on making any until UA, not trying to sound like Bakugo but being friends with the "extras" wouldn't work out, once I get into UA I would probably not have enough time to hang out with them so I just didn't bother in the first place.

My quirk has come a long way since I first awakened it, I have no idea what the upper limit for my telekinesis is right now but I lifted up all the trash on Dagobah beach at the same time with very little effort, I though about dropping it all off somewhere to get recycled but I wouldn't want to take away Izuku's training arc. On top of my telekinesis i've also worked on making barriers, this is a lot harder than I thought it would be, I eventually figured it out and can flawlessly make them now but it was quite embarrassing when I finally did figure it out.

*Flashback*

"Dammit, why can't I make any barriers, I know I should be able to." I say looking out to the various broken glass bottles I failed to protect.

"You know what, fine, i'll figure this out tomorrow. Stupid barriers." I say kicking a rock towards the bottles. The rock I kicked rockets towards them and as I start to turn to leave the rock bounces off of seemingly nothing and comes back to hit me in the face.

*End Flashback*

Another thing I discovered about my quirk is the telepathic side of it. Apparently I can feel peoples minds and talk into them, I also don't know the limit of this as well, I can feel people's minds from the other side of the city and if I concentrate I can sense the entire country, I stopped myself from going any further than that as my head was starting to hurt from all the minds I could feel.

There is a downside to my telepathy though, everyones minds feel different and every one i've felt so far has been very uncomfortable to be in. I haven't checked everyones mind in the country to prevent myself from getting a headache. I've gotten used to a few peoples minds but they are still uncomfortable to be in for too long, maybe one day i'll find a comfortable mind to be in.

*Bang*

I look up after hearing an explosion to see Bakugo holding Izuku's now burnt notebook. He has no idea how lucky he is that Izuku asked me not to attack him. I already know what Bakugo is going to say so I leave before hearing it, if I did hear him tell my brother to kill himself I would throw him out of the window regardless of what Izuku wants and unfortunately I need him to get caught later today by the sludge villain.

After walking out of the school I wait for Izuku to walk out and start walking away from the school, I start following him just in case, everything went fine in canon but i'm going to follow just to make sure.

After following Izuku for about 5 minutes I feel someone moving in the sewer in the tunnel Izuku is about to enter and someone else further down the tunnel following behind.

As Izuku enters the tunnel a mass of slime bursts out of the sewer and looks around in a panic, seeing Izuku nearby he jumps at him as Izuku screams out and says "Calm down. It will only hurt for about 45 seconds. Thanks for your help. You're my hero."

As he finishes that sentence another figure jumps out of the sewer and says "It's alright now, young man. I am here!"

Leaping forwards he shouts "Texas Smash!", blowing the Slime Villain to pieces, forcing it to drop Izuku, who has fainted from the shock.

Less than a minute later All Might has the Villain bottled up and is in the process of waking Izuku up. Slowly Izuku opens his eyes and then freezes, staring at All Might.

"Sorry 'bout getting you caught up in my villain fighting. But, you were a big help. Thanks!" All Might says, not noticing that Izuku is frozen in shock. A second later Izuku snaps out of his shock and starts looking around for his notebook to get a autograph from All Might. As he opens his note book he screams out "He's already signed it!"

"Well, I need to take this guy to the police." He says as he crouches down getting ready to jump away. "Wait, already... Wait." Says Izuku grabbing onto All Might's leg as he jumps away.

"Let go young man" All Might says to Izuku. "If I let go now i'll die." Izuku responds. "Good point, let me find somewhere to land."

A few seconds later he lands on a nearby roof and turns to face Izuku. Izuku runs up to him and says "I have to ask you an important question." not noticing the steam pouring off of All Might. "Can someone like me, without a quirk, become a hero."

As soon as he's finished asking his question steam bursts out of All Might as he reverts to his regular form. Izuku screams out, quickly moving away "Wh.. who are you? What happened to All Might. You're an imposter."

Before Izuku can carry on All Might tries to calm him down. "I assure you that I am All Migh…" he gets cut off, coughing up blood. At this, Izuku screams even louder. Clearing his throat All Might continues. "You know how the guys at the pool are always flexing and posturing? It's like that." "No way, All Might is fearless… He saves everyone with a smile… He's the greatest…" As Izuku finishes saying this All Might sighs and says "A fearless smile, huh?" Sitting down he continues "Now that you've seen me like this, young man, make sure you don't write about it online, even accidentally."

Pulling up his shirt he shows Izuku his wound "It's an injury I got from an enemy's attack five years ago. Half of my respiratory organs were destroyed, and I lost my whole stomach. I've become emaciated from repeated surgeries and the aftereffects. Right now I can only work as a hero for about three hours a day."

"That can't be. Five years ago… Was that when you fought Toxic Chainsaw?"

"You're well informed. But a punk like that couldn't defeat me. This fight was not made public to the world. I asked that it not be made public. I will save people with a smile. The symbol of Peace cannot be daunted by evil. I smile to show the pressure of heroes, and to trick the fear inside of me"

"Pros are always risking their lives. I cannot simply say "You can become a hero even without power." As All Might finishes saying this Izuku's face falls. "I see…"

"If you want to help others, then you could also become a police officer, that is also a fine occupation." As he says this he stands up and walks to the door. "It's not bad to dream. But you also have to consider what's realistic young man." As he finishes the sentence he walks through the door, closing it behind him.

As all of this is happening, from a distance Tatsumaki is watching as All Might crushes her brother's dreams. "Where does that stupid banana hair looking idiot get off telling my brother that he can't be a hero, if I didn't know he changes his mind later on then I would have thrown him off of that roof." Looking around she follows where she senses the Slime Villain has ran to. As she sees where it is she smirks. "Serves you right you annoying Chihuahua, I would say this might humble you if I didn't know any better."

As the Slime Villain starts trying to take over Bakugo's body he let's out a massive explosion in an attempt to get the villain away from him, drawing the attention of All Might who was looking for the villain and Izuku who had finally snapped out of it on the roof and started to make his way towards the fight scene, hoping to see some more heroes in action.

Arriving at the scene Izuku pushes through the crowd, trying to get a better view of what's happening. As he reaches the front of the crowd his eyes widen in surprise at seeing Bakugo being suffocated by the Slime Villain that All Might captured earlier. He looks around to see what the heroes are doing to help and is horrified to see them doing nothing. Looking back to Bakugo he sees a pleading look in his eyes and before he can register what is happening he had already started running towards the Slime Villain.

"If I throw my bag at it's eyes I will get an opening to pull Kacchan out" Izuku mutters under his breath. Throwing his bag he quickly realises that it is going to miss it's intended target and starts to panic before seeing it get enveloped in a green aura, pushing the bag quickly towards the Slime Villains eyes.

As the bag hits the Slime Villains eyes it flinches away, allowing Bakugo to breath. Seeing Izuku he says "What are you doing here Deku!", watching as Izuku hopelessly claws away at the slime holding him in place.

"My legs just moved on their own, I don't know why, though! It looked like you were asking for help…"

From the back of the crowd, All Might watches as the boy he just berated ran head first towards the villain, despite the dangers whilst he watched from a distance.

"Pathetic… Pathetic!"

The Slime Villain, finally recovering from the blow to his eyes looks down at the green haired boy and screams "Don't get in my way!!", forming a massive hand and slamming it down towards Izuku, as it is about to reach him a green barrier forms around him, ready to protect him from any damage. But that barrier wasn't needed as All Might bursts forwards, blocking the blow.

"I really am pathetic."

"All Might…"

"Even though I admonished you, I wasn't putting what I said into practice!" He says, tearing the hand he blocked apart.

"Pros are always risking their lives!"

Pulling back his arm he shouts out "Detroit Smash!" as he blasts away the Slime Villain and causes a tornado to form blowing the nearby people away. As the tornado disperses clouds start to form from the pressure caused by the punch, causing it to start raining.

Seeing that All Might has defeated the villain the crows starts to cheer. All Might turns around and raises his fist to the sky causing the cheering to increase, drowning out the sound of the rain.

From a nearby building Tatsumaki watches from underneath a barrier, preventing the rain from touching her. "Even weakened Banana-Might is still powerful, that punch would have broken one of my barriers."

Seeing that everyone was beginning to leave and that the Slime Villain had been contained she takes one last look at All Might before heading home. "Tch!" She clicks her tongue. "This doesn't mean I forgive you All Might, you still upset my brother and i'm going to make sure you know how displeased I am at that whilst you're training him." As she finishes her sentence she begins flying back home, she already knows what happens next and will wait for Izuku to get home before forcing the information out of him.

A hour later whilst Izuku is walking back home after being berated by the heroes for being reckless he is stopped by Bakugo who looks angrily at him "I didn't need your help Deku! I was fine by myself! Don't look down on me! Are you trying to make me owe you?!"

He glares even harder at Izuku. "Don't look down on me, you damn nerd!" He says before turning around and walking away.

Turning around Izuku started to walk back home before getting ambushed once again.

"I am here!"

"Al.. All Might! What are you doing here, you were surrounded by reporters until just now…"

As he hears this All Might chuckles and says "Getting away from them was a piece of cake. Why? Because I am All Migh—"

As he starts to flex his muscles steam bursts out of him and he reverts to his normal form, coughing up blood.

Wiping the blood off of his mouth he says "Young man. I come with thanks, a correction and a suggestion. If you hadn't been there… If you hadn't told be about your life… I would have turned into a guy in a body suit that was all talk. Thank you."

"That can't be… It was my fault in the first place. I got in the way of your work, and I said all those impertinent things even though i'm quirkless…"

"That's right. It was because it was none other than the timid, quirkless you at the scene that I was able to act. Tell me young man. Your legs moved on their own, didn't they. I can tell, when you started running towards the villain you looked shocked that you were even moving."

Nodding slowly at what All Might was saying he replied "Yes, by the time I realised what was happening I was already half way to the villain"

Hearing this All Might said "All the best heroes have stories about them, and all these stories have one thing in common. Their bodies moved before they had a chance to think."

As All Might says this Izuku's eyes start to tear up. He thinks back to the day he was diagnosed as quirkless, his mum apologised to him when he asked if he could be a hero but his sister told him that he can be one, no matter what anybody says.

"That was true you you as well wasn't it."

"Yeah!" He chokes out, tears rolling down his face. His sister was the only one who believed in him, she helped him every step of the way and until today he thought that she would be the only one who believed in him until he heard All Might's next words.

"You can become a hero."

Hearing this Izuku was overjoyed, someone else finally believed in him. Someone else believes he can be a hero.

"Which is why I want to offer you my quirk."

"Huh?"
