9 Chapter 9

It has been 2 years since the robbery at the mall, Izuku has recently turned 14 years old...

Izuku-"... no, no. go back... no remove that,... ugh! why can't I do it!"

currently he was in his room, trying to make modifications to his future hero costume.

Inko-"Izuku, honey come down dinners getting cold!" his mother called him for the fifth time already. yet he has not answered.

Inko-"Is everything okay? you'll get sick if you don't eat anything Izuku, come down here." she was worried

Inko-"There is something very important I have to give you Izuku, so come quick."

Hearing that there was something very important that his mother was going to give, Izuku thought that she was angry and talking about giving him an important beating.

Thus he quickly dropped designing his super suit, and rushed downstairs to where his mother was calling him from.

After he went down, he got a quick scolding by his mother and then was told to eat his food.

Finishing the last bits of his meal, his mother spoke up:

Inko-"you know that being a hero needs a lot of energy and strength, so you should eat properly to not stunt your growth, Izuku,"

getting a nod from her son, Inko continued.

Inko-"Your father has sent you something, he said he wanted it to get here for your birthday but there seemed to be a delay so it got here today."

Then she took out a small box, and gave it to Izuku.

When he opened it there was a pair of glasses and a small note, which had his fathers writing.

:"Kid, Sorry for not being there for your birthday *again* , You soon are gonna have to go to High School, and I can't have my boy not looking good for all the ladies there. It's some new tech the company has made, what did those nerds call them again... ah ye The Smart Glasses. The moment you put them on, they'll turn on, it has everything a modern smart phone has and even more. So Kid use 'em wisely.

And Finally, by the time I get back, I want to be seeing posters of my little hero all around Japan, and by that I don't mean the *Wanted Dead Or Alive* posters.

Kid, Go Be A Hero":

Seeing his father's message, Izuku was happy. He instantly put the glasses on, which looked just like any random reading glasses with black metal rims.

The moment the glasses were safely in place, multiple screens came alive on the lenses: Maps, Internet, Music, Videos, GPS, Contacts and many more. when Izuku tapped the side of the glasses, the lenses turned from transparent to black, one sided glass, he could see through them like normal, but it would be very hard to see through them from the other side.

He instantly ran back to his room to update his still unfinished hero costume, and later called his dad, to thank him and show off his newest comics and manga.

Speaking to his dad, reminded him something...

Three days later, back at his favorite spot on the beach.

When they were talking his dad would sometimes release smoke from his mouth, which was his quirk, Fire Breathing.

Izuku hadn't thought of it much before but seeing it now gave him an idea.

Making sure that noone was around so they wouldn't get hurt, Izuku started meditating, but soon was interrupted by mr.Skel- Toshinori Yagi.

Yagi-"Hey kid, it's been a while. What are you up to."

Feeling a bit annoyed at the interruption, Izuku wanted to get this over as fast as possible-

Izuku-"Mr.Yagi, I'm trying to create a new move, so please be quiet, I need to concentrate"

Being a little embarrassed by being told off, Yagi stayed quiet and sat nearby to see what the kid was trying to do.

Meanwhile, Izuku was using his quirk to slowly turn his lungs and throat to flames, but it was a very slow and delicate process. slowly rising up the heat, his lungs turned to flames barely as hot as a matchstick, and next was his throat.

when he got both of them right, he stopped increasing their temperature, because if anything went wrong it would be best to not unleash blue flames or even hot plasma on all might, or the beach.

Opening his eyes, Izuku turned his head up to the sky and used all his chest muscles and diaphragm to unleash all the *air* in his lungs from his mouth.

what came next made Yagi go wide eyed.

A pillar of orange flames were shot forth from Izuku, lighting up the cloudy sky with a warm glow.

Izuku-'Hmm, it was pretty cool, but Godzilla wouldn't be proud'

after the flames disappeared, Yagi rushed to Izuku, almost blowing his eardrums out with all the questions he was asking.

but the only thing Izuku said after the display was:

Izuku-"Smokin'!"
