Second Day!

The next day, Bullet was on time for class!

Mostly because Aizawa brought him to school and made sure he went to the classroom.

Bullet sat down at his desk and smiled to himself, tapping the desk, looking around. But to his disappointment, nobody looked at him. They even moved their desks away from his slightly.

Bullet sighed to himself, looking at his desk in shame, rubbing the mask under it.

Aizawa watched this but said nothing, he had a feeling this would happen… He knew that it would be tough for Bullet, however this is what he wanted! He told Bullet that it would be very hard, he wasn't talking about the tests or other things.

He was talking about the mental pressure and alienation that Bullet would be faced with. Aizawa heard what happened in the cafeteria yesterday and sighed angrily to himself, he expected this as well!

In his view, Bullet wanting to be a hero was a near impossible task! But Bullet wanted this, so he let him be. If Bullet really couldn't handle it, Aizawa would pull him out of school and train him on the side by himself.

It was a bit cruel to subject Bullet to this, but this was the harsh reality! He figured that if Bullet couldn't overcome this, then there was no question about being a hero!

If he stumbled over a few bullies and alienation from his classmates, then he would never be a hero!

Bullet seemed to understand this as well, it was just a sad thing for him, but he wanted to be a Hero! How could these things stop him? He struggled for his entire life! These little things were nothing in comparison!

Not to mention, Knuckleduster was cheering him on!

And! Kaina was waiting for him to save her in prison!

Himiko was also alone at the moment!

If Bullet could be a Hero, he could save Kaina and Himiko while also making Knuckleduster proud! Not only that, but achieving his dreams!

He might not be able to talk, and seem like an idiot because of his lack of experience in this new world, but Bullet was not stupid!

Plus! Now there was a girl who called him Eyeballs! Life couldn't get any better!

So Bullet was very happy. He didn't mind being alone, he's been alone for so long he was used to it… But just because he didn't mind, didn't mean the Mask didn't mind! The Mask was suffocating with rage and anger to the extreme!

Though, Bullet could keep him at bay… When he put on the Mask, he wasn't in control anymore. Although, the good part was that he knew the Mask wouldn't hurt anyone who Bullet didn't want to be hurt.

The Mask and Bullet were the same person, the only difference was that bullet dumped all his negative emotions into the Mask. All the negativity Bullet had was all in the Mask's personality, making him a ball of anger but also the source of Bullet's strength, because Bullet himself didn't know how to fight.

The Mask knew how to fight, Bullet was just along for the ride.

This was Bullet's point of view. He relied on the Mask and the Mask relied on him.

He didn't understand that they were one in the same.

So the happy-go-lucky and kind Bullet was the one facing the world, while the cold and cruel streetrat brawler Mask was the one facing his enemies. They formed a symbiosis with each other, thinking that they were different entities.

However, neither of them knew that this balance was very difficult to achieve… These alienations and bullying episodes were shoved off by Bullet to the Mask, it was only a matter of time before…

The Mask would come out with or without the mask!

This is why Bullet felt extreme pain in his head when the mask wasn't in his hands.

Aizawa said a few words before leaving the room, he was only the Homeroom teacher after all. Present Mic tagged in, walking into the room and shouting "READY FOR ENGLISH?!"

Bullet raised his fist, saying "Yeah!" everyone looked at him and he froze, looking down in embarrassment. The Mask exploded but calmed down as Present Mic laughed, "That's the spirit! Alright! Let's start, little listeners…"

Bullet stared at Present Mic with his eyes wide open, they were bloodshot as he looked to be trying to imprint the knowledge in his head.

Present Mic pointed at him and laughed, "THAT'S THE SPIRIT!" before continuing.

When English was over, Bullet looked at his paper and it was blank! He snorted out smoke and nodded, good job!

Bullet learned everyone's name in the class as Aizawa did roll call this morning.

Names were easy! The rest however…

Extremely complicated!

Bullet glared at the chalkboard as Midnight wrote out a math equation. He counted on his fingers and scratched his head in shock, figuring out that… He didn't have enough fingers!

Needless to say, this was a tough morning of intense learning for Bullet.

Then it was lunchtime!

Bullet walked over to a table by himself and started eating, looking at his fingers, wondering how this so-called 'Mathematics' was done. How could someone count more than the amount of fingers they had? This was unbelievable!

As Bullet was getting enlightened, the bully came by again, this time with his friends!

He shoved Bullet's face into his food before laughing "Oops!" Bullet wiped his face and smiled "Sorry!" before going back to his finger math. The Bully was angry and thought Bullet was mocking him!

He shoved Bullet to the ground and pointed at his face, spider legs coming out of his back as he said "Are you making fun of me, freak?!" Bullet was stunned and didn't understand what he was saying, he only said "Fun?"

The Bully kicked Bullet on the ground and sneered. The students looked away, not wanting to intervene, after all this guy was Quirkless, he shouldn't be here in the first place.

Bullet covered his face and the Mask started getting extremely angry.

Bullet even glared at the bully with an intensely vicious gaze, making him freeze up in an instant! But Bullet returned to normal, smiling kindly "Sorry!" the Bully kicked him again, before spitting on him and saying "Freak!" as he walked away.

Bullet got up and dusted himself off, smiling as he sat back down. He picked up a napkin and wiped the spit off himself before going back to eating.

Nobody said anything.

After this event, Izuku, Ochako, and Tenya walked into the cafeteria, chatting, having not been there for the event.

As the Lunch bell rang, Lunchrush walked over and asked "You okay?" Bullet looked up and smiled, nodding as he pointed at the food, "No mess!" Lunchrush paused before sighing, "That's not what I meant. I'll talk to the principal for you, okay?"

Bullet didn't understand but nodded, smiling "OK." Lunchrush nodded and left. Bullet picked up the tray and hummed a Midnight commercial tune as he threw the remains in the trash before putting the tray away, going back to class.
